UDA has always been thorough, quick, friendly, and professional. I have been seeing them since 2013 and I don’t have a single complaint. Reception has always been patient and friendly with scheduling, billing, and insurance. The dental hygienists always greet you with a smile and the dentists take the time to go over any questions or concerns you may have. I never feel like I’m being shoved out the door to get another patient in the chair. Highly recommend!

I absolutely love the homey atmosphere of this office, it is just as welcoming as the staff. The docs here are highly respected and are genuine. They have done some of the best dentistry I have ever seen. The staff truly appreciate each other and always seem to enjoy their work. Not to mention staying up to date with the latest dental technology. UDA is quickly becoming a one-​stop-​shop especially now that office’s newest dentist, Dr. Walby, offers in-​house implants and wisdom teeth removal. This is the kind of office patients stay a lifetime.

Dr. Patricia Scalia is not only professional and skillful, she is meticulous in what she does and very attentive. When my filling broke, she made time to make an appointment and change it free of charge! Now that is not a standard practice! That is exceptional care!
Megan is the best dental hygienist ever! She is very knowledgeable and shows great attention to detail, never rushes and explains everything step by step and cracks some jokes in between :)

My family all have gone to Dr Tyler for over 25 years but have also seen Dr. Kennedy AND Dr Scalia. My son’s veneers have lasted for 18 years and he’d hoped for 10 at best. Dr. Tyler is caring and sympathetic and as painless as possible. He saved several of my teeth for seven years and worked WITH my periodontist, Dr. VAN RAAPHORST to keep my smile intact!

Would you believe I’ve been going to the same dentist my entire life? How’s that for commitment? I think my first cleaning here was around age 5 and I’m pretty sure Dr. Tyler was there. Even then, he was the talk of the town.
I don’t live in good old Rochester Hills anymore but there’s something comforting about returning there twice a year for my annual cleaning, seeing Trudy my dental hygienist and Dr. Kennedy or Dr. Tyler.
The office has been updated but some of the staff is still the same. And they always remember me, ask about my family and are ready with a friendly smile.
I’ve been blessed with good genes in the teeth department (which I credit in part to the staff at University Dental and in part to my mother who was also a dental hygienist by profession and a stickler for oral care when were kids). Between that and my lovely teen years of braces and appliances, I’m happy the upkeep is minimal these days!
I schedule ahead of time but can always get in when I need to.

Dr. Tyler is the best dentist ever. University Dental Associates uses state of the art equipment to mold a crown, and set it in one sitting. The color is an exact match. Beautiful artistry.
