The whole experience has been noteworthy!
To much trouble and strife…
Had new furnace, AC unit and hot water tank (no small $$ I can tell you) installed in January. –9 here in western NY.
Decided to let them install the AC unit in spring. Saving them installing it in –9 temperatures then having to come back and start it up… wrong big mistake. Sat in my Garage until June 21, and only after chasing and chasing and chasing finally ‘Bob’ came out with a attitude and installed it.

Oh Oops — forgot to submit my rebate to the gas service so it looks like I’m out $ 600
And wants $ 200 more for the guy coming out to install the AC. Then some obscure remark about coming over and taking my AC unit if I don’t pay! Nice!

I agree with Dwight G. — DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

Absolutely horrible — I contacted Lou through Service magic initially. He complained that he was now stuck with having to pay them their fee (then why did you join?). I should have hung up then, but did not. He spent countless hours trying to repair a furnace. Not only did he not repair it, he actually screwed it up worse. He charged me way too much considering he never fixed it.
I filed a complaint through Service Magic and thought that was that.
His company called me today trying to schedule my «annual service call» like I had always had them doing this for me. I called back and stated got Lou on the phone. I stated that he had never done an annual service. He disagreed and said, «Well, we called you so we must be doing it.»
I gave him my name to remove me from his list — he said he remembered me. I told him that I had signed up with another company in the area — his response? «So you decided to go with a large company that does not care about you as opposed to a reputable service company that gives that special service?»
I hung up on him —
But thank you Lou — you reminded me to pepper the Internet with bad reviews about your company. I hope that you call again next year so we can do it again.
