Centerstone Plaza Hotel Soldier Field

Love this hotel. Shuttles take you anywhere within a mile at anytime! Usually had to wait not at all or just a few minutes.
Had a one bedroom with a pull down Murphy bed in the living room that was very comfortable. Rooms were large and quiet. We had a full kitchen. All the staff were very nice. Their late checkout time is 3PM, which was really nice. A block away is People’s Coop, a wonderful grocery store with lots of healthy and organic food.

Oh boy a credit to my card just appeared that brought the room charge down to what was on my receipt at checkout. How hard is it to get a credit card charge correct the first time? No offer for any credits for all the other junk we endured at this declining hotel.
Good place for a plumber and electrician, No money spent on these «amenities» here.
OH, the shuttle drivers are GREAT, I just hope they get free chiropractic to take care of their backs after driving busses with absolutely NO shock absorbers or springs.

Very impressed by this property. It’s not luxurious by any means, but the staff was great. We stayed in one of the one bedroom units with kitchens in the dog friendly building. It was clean, quiet and comfortable. The shuttle service between the hotel and Mayo was fantastic. Darrell (one of the shuttle drivers) was really knowledgeable and helpful. The included breakfast options was okay and had your usual scrambled eggs, bacon, fruit, waffle maker, yogurt, breads and cereal. I would stay here again when I need to return to the area. The location is convenient and has free parking.

They are not getting a 5 star review because they are the Ritz Carlton … they’re not. They are getting a 5 star review because they are WONDERFUL people. My daughter and I spend 2 weeks here while she was recovering from surgery. We stayed in the main hotel (did not like the efficiency room we started in). The girls at the front desk go out of their way to accommodate your needs. The restaurant is very, very good and i can’t say enough good things about the shuttle service and the shuttle drivers. I have no comment about the pool area because we honestly did not even see the pool.
The room was very clean and very comfortable. We will need to spend the night for a follow up appointment in February and we will be staying here for sure.
