History

Established in 1983.

We are third generation in the industry, my brother and I got our start

by learning the ceiling and wall business from our father.

While always encouraged by Dad, to «Start your own business someday»

I Started my first DBA, or doing business as, in 1983.

It has been a great experience, learning a trade, and also learning the customer service side to business.

I was born and raised into the trade of Plastering, with Drywall becoming

the building choice of most home improvement and construction projects,

given the rate of speed, that can be achieved through, taping and finishing, just the seams of the panels and fasteners. I became Very good

at Drywall finishing, but still very able to «handle» a Plastering trowel.

As my career continues in this industry I have seen a consistent need for a

plasterer, in the industry to «skim» a whole wall or ceiling, to cover uneven

or damaged surfaces, or to cover a texture no longer desired by a new owner. There are still thousands of wall surfaces laden with wooden strips (called wood lath) and covered with Plaster in the Rochester and surrounding areas.
