Treetops Resort was advertised on Deals Gap website as a motorcycle friendly resort. Not sure who of the staff wrote that but it is by far NOT motorcycle friendly. We were a group of 30 riders from 3 states that met for a rally to ride the Tail of the Dragon and other area roads. This so called resort is on the Cherohola Skyway and was only marked by a mailbox. The road into the resort was dirt & gravel which went down and around(not friendly for tour bikes). The road to our«house-cabin was straight up partial concrete but mostly heavy gravel, with a sharp 90 degree turn to were we we housed. Even our support vehicle had to use 4low to get up the mountain to park. The place we stayed appeared to be clean with 4 bedrooms 2 small baths and a shower that barely pushed out water. It did have an outside hot tub that was the only thing serviced everyday. The garage was not as advertised, it had a pool table but no other amenities as advertised. The bottom bedrooms had a strong mold smell, which we discovered later was coming from the basement laundry room under the bedroom. One of the people staying in that room caught an infection in his eyes from it and the other got respiratory problems. We asked several times for extra towels but never received them(we were lucky to have one towel for each person), considering we were there for 5 days. We never once seen or heard from the owners of the resort even thou the lived in the property. I’m sure they seen us due to the several cameras that were all around. There were 2 other cabin/houses that members of our group were in and they were just as difficult to reach. Again this is NOTMOTORCYCLEFRIENDLY!
