Come enjoy an old fashion style general store located 7 miles west of Robbinsville on NC143, just 4 miles from the scenic Cherohala Skyway and Joyce Kilmer Memorial Forest in Graham County North Carolina.

We start each day with hot biscuits and a warm cup of coffee. For lunch we offer world famous Nathan’s hot dogs, including the legendary quarter pound Thunder Dog with chili, slaw, and all the fixins. We also have fresh deli sandwiches, salads and homemade desserts. Eat at our picnic tables or take a ride up to the Cherohala Skyway to one of the scenic overlooks.

We also offer a large selection of groceries, camping supplies, fishing/​live bait, candy, snacks, drinks and Cherohala souvenirs.

Be sure and gas up… we are the last gas and restroom stop before making the 45 mile crossing of the Cherohala Skyway. The next stop is in Tellico Plain, TN.

Ken and Melissa are BEYOND accommodating. Not only is their food great, but they gave us their cellphone number and told us they’d be happy to come in after hours if we needed anything. Not only did that hold true, but when I became ill and contacted him (as I don’t know the area), he called his friend who is a local EMT to help.
They’re very motorcycle friendly, have great homemade biscuits and cinnamon rolls (among other general store items). I sincerely wish I could give this place 10 stars as the owners are the epitome of who I’d like to see at any store. It doesn’t matter if you’ve been there once or 100 times… you are immediately are treated like family.

Very nice place on the Cherohola Skyway. Motorcycle friendly, the owners Ken & Melissa are very friendly and accommodating. Great place for breakfast of homemade biscuit sandwiches and homemade sourdough cinnamon rolls. They also have gas (last gas stop for 50 miles) and a country store with camping, fishing and other supplies and gifts. If your in the area this is the place to stop.
