Pioneer Tire Pros & Auto Service

Pioneer is the only place that I will go for tires. They are average priced (there are definitely cheaper places around) but their service and honesty leaves other places in the dust. I moved to Florida in 2008 and it has played havoc on my tires for some reason. Shortly after moving here I got a flat that I thought I would require a new tire. I brought my car to them and said to put a new tire on, they took one look at it and said «you just need a repair, the tire is fine» and it cost me $ 28 instead of $ 225! They have continued to provide the best service since then (4 cars later and about 8 flats later). Thanks guys.

I have been here twice this year and had a great experience both times. The price was fair. They were extremely friendly. They remember your name and made the atmosphere very welcoming. Both my vehicles run great after getting worked on! Thanks Pioneer!

I called around to see where I could get my alternator replaced at a good price. Some of the places I called had ridiculous pricing. I called Pioneer and they had the fairest price. They replaced it within an hour and a half and my car is now running as it should. I was treated like a friend and I’ll be going back.

It just amazes me that all three positive reviews for Pioneer Tire & Auto Center have been filtered and the one negative review continues to be published. So, I thought I would republish my experience along with lowering the Star Rating to a 3 in hopes that my review will be published as my experinece with this company has been Very Good.
These people have gone out of their way to help us with the repair of our vehicles. I can get my truck back in a timely manner and they are even open on Saturdays.

I have been to Pioneer twice in the last year or so. My first experience was fine. They actually weren’t able to help me, other than mounting some new tires. I needed them balanced as well, but the tires belong to a classic VW and require special equipment to balance them and Pioneer did not have it. The service was fine & he referred me to a few other places that were able to help me get them balanced.
The second time I returned to have the new tires I purchased from
mounted & balanced to my 06 Trailblazer. They put my car in the queue and I sat down to wait with my coffee. While my car was being worked on, I received a lecture from the old man at the counter about how I wasn’t supporting the town of Riverview by buying my tires online. I informed him that I had already received a written quote from his shop that was ridiculously higher than tire rack. Tires+mounting+balancing at Pioneer = $ 780. Exact same tires from tirerack+shipping+Pioneers mounting & balancing = $ 520. We went back and forth for a bit until I was fed up and went outside to smoke. If they had not already started working on my car (which the old man made sure of before he started the lecture) I would have left right then and there. I let them finish, paid my bill and right before I walked out the door, he apologized. Pfft… I turned to him and told him that I have never been that insulted by a business in my life and that I would not return.
