Hancock Tire & Auto

very unprofessional! i visited this business to have my tire patched. i requested they remove the tire and patch it from the inside. they decided to ignore me and just plugged the tire which is not an approved method to safe repair a tire. when I questioned it I get shrugs and vague answer about the screw was too close to edge of tire but it was not. i went to another shop and paid them too remove the plug and properly repair the tire. will not go back and will tell friends not to go there as well!

Took my Suburban here for work on my spark plugs. Not only did they answer all my questions but they were also affordable! Would go back again (even though they are 25 miles away)! Definitely recommend!

I called Kauffman tire Walmart, Sam’s Club and Costco. Hancock saved me 65 $, I live in Brandon & wanted the best deal without driving to far. I arrived & confirmed the price quoted over the phone. The waiting area was comfortable. The staff was courteous, polite & efficient. I was in & out in less than 20 mins! I am a customer for life

I had Hancock replace the tires on my 04 Scion Xb back in July. Now in December I have a flat tire, but when I went to put on the spare the lug nuts were on so tight that putting all my 210 lbs on the crowbar didn’t even budge them. After about 10 minutes I managed to strip one of the lugs so since it was the evening I put some air in it then drove it home thumping. I worked on it at home and with a torque wrench turned all the way up I managed to loosen 3 of 4 lug nuts on the tire, but literally pulled my quad trying with all might strength to loosen the last one. I even in the process broke off a extension on the ratchet. I now just called Hancock where they explained that since it has been 5 months they could not help me. She then went on to explain that her boss said I should have come sooner if there was an issue, and I asked how I would have known until I have a reason to remove them but she just passed over that. She also said in a sarcastic way «so in 5 – 6 months no one has done anything to the tires?» so I guess they only expect their work to be good for 5 months. I said you realize your trying to convince me of something that didn’t happen right? In the end they said they would not help me. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!! THEY CAN’T EVEN TIGHTEN LUGS PROPERLY!!!

Go no where else!!! This place is amazing and the mechanic I had was very honest told me what was going on and that yes he could fix it but it’s not necessary. Asked him if my tires need rotated and balanced and he says no they look good so these people arnt out to get money they are one of the few honest car repair shops around. Ended up just getting an oil change for $ 25. Can’t rave enough about this place.

Came in after being quoted a boggling price for a nail patch on a tire elsewhere. Not only were they honest about that the screw never made it through, they also offered a very fair price. I’ll be back when I have other problems.

The staff acts put out with any customer interaction whatsoever. I bought several $ 250 tires. When one of them got a nail in it about 3 weeks later, they told me they could not fix it or warranty it. I had to pay for an additional $ 250 tire. When I asked for a cheaper alternative (a discount or a less expensive tire) I was told they could not help me out. They took about an hour longer than they told me they would. I will definitely NOT be back.
