There was no options for NO STARS!!! Please consider another facility, There is NO communication between the family & the Admin/​Social services dept. One week Social Svcs (Stephanni) calls me & tells me my Mom is progressing (but still shouldn’t go back home & live alone) the VERY next week the Admin (Ian Lane) evidentially had a meeting with Stephanni, & Muerrita and they decided my mom cannot return to the Villa after being hospitalized for fluid in the lungs… mind you (she’s ONLY been there since the end of Nov & has been hospitalized 3x)…she just had to have her lungs pumped out 2x in 1 month (which they were not gonna call 911… it took my sister & I to insist on a X-​ray and for her to be hospitalized). NOT ONE of the Admin even called to let my sister & I know that my mom can’t come back, (cause she wasn’t progressing) SHE WASNT PROGRESSING CAUSE SHE GOT A BED SORE ON HER BUTT & ANOTHER ON HER HEEL & LEG!!! We took pics & the Dr. documented everything. I PERSONALLY went and talked to Stephanni & Ian (over 1 mo ago) and asked them about long term facilities that we can send our mom too… and TILL THIS DAY I HAVENT HEARD A WORD!!! Ian said he’d «jump right on it & have Stephanni help us)…NOPE…THEY LEFT US HANGING… OUR MOM WAS DISCHARGED SUN… BUT IS STILL AT THE HOSPITAL CAUSE WE HAVE NOWHERE TO SEND HER TOO. THESE ARE YOUR TAX DOLLARS AT WORK!!! PLZ RECONSIDER YOUR CHOICES WHEN IT COMES TO THIS FACILITY!!! MEDICAL HAS ALSO BEEN NOTIFIED FOR AN AUDIT!

Our family chose Villa Health Care Center for my sister who had a stroke and needed rehab when discharged from the hospital. We visited all rehabs in LA & Riverside Counties and are so happy that we chose Villa. All staff from the top administrator to nurses, therapists and aides were exceptional. The OT, PT & ST she received was great… even better than we had expected (and I am a discerning RN myself).
We found the staff to be very accommodating to not only our sister, but to our whole family’s needs. We came to Villa for great care, but we received so much more. Everyone extended the love and caring (that is obvious among the staff) to my sister and to our whole family. It’s obvious that a staff that cares so much about each other works so well together for the patients’ benefits.
Leaving there for home was bitter-​sweet. We were so happy that my sister had progressed enough to get back to her home… but we knew we were going to miss our Villa family! Thank you, Villa, for everything!

My experience at Villa Health Care Center was outstanding. I was an inpatient there for 3 ½ months with a spinal cord injury to get Physical Therapy. My experience with the entire staff from administration, nursing, and therapy dept was beyond 5 star. The facility is immaculate and the staff always friendly and made me feel at home. Most of all the Rehab dept that helped me recover and get to independent function was absolutely exceptional. The Director of Rehab and all the therapists are the best of the best. Cannot express enough how wonderful my experience was, and if I couldn’t be at home during my recovery Villa would be my next choice!

Zero stars was not an option. Please please please DO NOT EVER send your loved one here. My grandmother lived alone for over 60 years, she tripped coming in from the garage one day and broke her leg. She went to Villa for therapy as she was bedridden due to not being able to weight bear. She did not make it out alive. She complained of the PT hitting her and whispering threats to her, and the nurses being abusive as well. The autopsy report indicated my grandmother was punched in the face, chest and stomach with additional bruises to both eyes, legs, nose, arms and forehead. We are in the process of filing a wrongful death suit with an ongoing investigation with the state. I can go on and on about what they did to her and how she was treated. We weren’t able to move her to a new facility in time. She was dead in less than 3 months. Please save yourself the heartache and your loved one the pain and find a different facility. I can only pray they are shut down before they can do this again to someone else.
