I bought a 2015 Tundra from Toyota of Riverside last year. I tow a Toy Hauler with it and it weighs about 8500 lbs. My son accidentally knocked the pig tail out of the receptacle and my trailer brakes weren’t connecting solidly. I had to make a quick stop as traffic in front of me abruptly slowed unexpectedly and the Tundra brakes managed to stop all that weight with no help from the trailer. Unfortunately the rotors got hot and warped. I took the truck to the service department completely expecting to pay for this repair even though the truck is under the Toyota maintenance program. I was pleasantly surprised when Mike from service called and told me his manager authorized a free resurfacing of my rotors as well as new brake shoes. I have never been treated this good at Ford. I have owned Ford and Dodge trucks since 1994, I will stick with Toyota and Toyota of Riverside. Top notch service from top notch people. Thank you Toyota of Riverside.

I recommend to get your service at this place because I went there this weekend and I had a fabulous experience. Tony Issa was the person who show me all the car around and help me make my decision with many helpful suggestion. He was patient and answer all questions I had. This was my first car so I was nervous and lost but he helped me through it so that I was happy with my decision. He help so much with the estimation of the price to the mileage and I couldn’t ask for better help. Then I was helped by Tony Garcia who helped me find the best deal on the car coverage. We wanted the best deal possible n he helped us achieve that deal and explain thought on what we were paying. I recommend this place and if you can look for both Tony to help you because I was very satisfied with their service and was very happy to do business with them and get my first car.

Had the best experience at Toyota of Riverside! I was in the market for a small SUV. We walked on the lot and started looking at the Rav 4’s. Then Godwin Isokpan walked out to greet us! Thank god! He was such a dream to work with. We were very straight forward with him and wanted to roughly see on paper what our lease payments would be if we put just the asking price down or included the tax and license with our down payment. He brought us inside, offered refreshments and had us wait in his office. About 5 minutes later he came back with a rough breakdown. Didn’t ask to run our credit (I would not have anyways), didn’t try to get me in a car that night. It was exactly what I wanted! I explained that I was exploring all options and if I choose Toyota I would contact him directly.
Long story short, every other dealership was just as expected. Honda was beyond rude and was obnoxious when I made it clear I was not going to run my credit. Other dealerships weren’t as bad but I always had the Rav 4 and the experience with Godwin in the back of my mind.
So we came back to see Godwin a few days later! And he was a rockstar during the whole process! I got to look at multiple car options and he was very very patient with me choosing a color!
Paperwork was a breeze with him and Toyota’s finance department was great as well! We worked with and he was wonderful! Didn’t try to up sell anything we didn’t want. Didn’t give me 8 different scenarios of why I needed certain protection plan.
I was a precious Toyota Camry owner for 10 years now and it still runs great! So I am proud to have another reliable Toyota for my husband and I and our growing family!
When we are in the market for another car, we will be coming back to Toyota!
I also told my sister about the experience I had at Toyota with Godwin, she was tired of her Saturn Vue. I told her about the great lease deals for the Toyota Camry’s. Godwin got her an amazing trade-​in value for her car and she walked out with a beautiful Camry! She was blown away by her experience as well and when her lease is up, she will be back at Toyota!

Aside from the lounge area being freezing, and service taking a while, I enjoy and prefer to bring my car here for any maintenance needs. The staff is professional and friendly. Any concerns I have they quickly address. But seriously, the thermostat is set to «on» (not auto), which means it’s constantly pumping out air, and it’s set to 72!!! Please raise it a couple degrees!

We bought a 2016 camry on may 22 from Roberto Sosa. Nice guy and easy to deal with. My sister in law unfortunately forgot her garage door clicker in her trade in so we called Roberto back and she made arrangements to pick it up the next day. She went to the office where Roberto made a deal with us but there was another salesman in there and he yelled at my sister in law saying that «can’t u see I’m with a customer!!? Come back later!!»… I’m like wow, that
His salesman has no manners or sense. BTW, he is a balding middle eastern guy and I told Roberto about it the following week (memorial day) when I came in to try to trade in my wife’s car. I told Roberto that this a sure deal but for some reason, he could not close the deal and we were basically ushered out by him. too bad cus I bought a Honda Accord from across the street for a better deal anyways. what he doesn’t realize is that I’m a very loyal toyota customer cus I myself has bought a Toyota every 2 years… my last 3
Cars have been a corolla and 2 camry’s…I’ve managed to switch my sister in law and father in law to toyota in the last 3 months… I thought that toyota has a loyalty program but I’m wrong… never again

Expect to wait no matter what!!! Made an appointment to get my car and oil changed and was told it would take 2 hours. I was told making an appointment doesn’t get you priority service as they are just not sitting around waiting for you. I left due to the horrible customer service I received. I have been to many Toyota service areas and by far this one is the worst.
*Got my old changed at Jiffy Lube and they apologized for Toyota’s behavior.

Overall ok. Edgar really is ur typical technician dry and straight to the point. I noticed I had a 10 percent discount coupon in my email on my service he said he applied the 10 percent off already wothout the coupon I question my self why even send the coupon then. keep in mind 10 percent off is not alot. Best customer experience with the shuttle driver I don’t know his name but I wanted to stay in the van with him longer. Very nice person and very helpful and makes ur ride home very pleasant… only thing I like to be honest was the experience with the shuttle driver. Service good.

Recently had the pleasure of dealing with Edgar Duarte while bringing my car in for regular maintenance. All I have to say is that Toyota needs to hire more people like Edgar. I usually dread getting my car serviced here because of previous experiences I’ve had but I’m glad that I was able to deal with Edgar this time around and receive excellent customer service. I will make my appointments with him from now on

Probably the slowest Toyota service around. I’ve come to realize that an appointment does nothing for you here. I’ve gotten my car serviced several times here and I always leave annoyed because they take sooooo much longer than they quote. I always make my appointments online and the website they use seems to be a little outdated. Last time I was scheduled with someone who no longer works for the company and yesterday I was scheduled with someone who had the day off? That’s just the beginning. I had a 10am appointment for a simple 50k mile service (extremely basic). First, nobody greets me for a few min when I pull up and finally someone says they’ll get someone to help me, which of course took a few more minutes. At around 1030, they told me my car would be ready by noon. At 12:25 they call me to let me know that I need two new filters for my car. Being that this is going to take even longer– I told them that I absolutely need to leave by 1245 at the latest and he assured me that wouldn’t be a problem. At 1:05 still no word so I went over and asked for my car and they told me that they were washing it and they would pull it up right away. As I’m waiting for my car at 1:15 I can see my car in the distance, completely unattended. So by this time, I was so annoyed that I didn’t even wait for valet and I got my own car and left. Such bad customer service! Not one simple «I’m sorry about the wait». Three plus hours for something that can be done in half the time somewhere else. The front desk is unprofessional as well. It’s torture to sit in the waiting room and listen to their unprofessional conversations while your car is taking longer than expected. Toyota service prices are the same at every location so I would definitely recommend taking your car to a different one.

Spent over 2 hrs for a lease that didn’t happen! A bunch of BS and yes we walked over 42.00 a month. Horrible experience and def would not purchase from here EVER!

Eric Dorati Fleet Manager, he’s amazing and very helpful! I always go to him because he makes it happen and speaks to you straight forward no beating around the bush. Long review! Go down for the tl;dr.
My sister brought in our 2001 Toyota Camry to be checked out due to some irregular engine noises when the AC was on. I helped my sister coordinate the scheduling for the service department, and was promptly messaged back by Cathryn via Unilocal (who I assume is the manager) regarding pricing.
This is where it could have been a 5 star experience.
Their website stated $ 110 for a «Squeaks and Rattles Diagnostics» (which suited our situation) however I was quoted $ 115. Just out of curiosity I asked if they would honor the $ 110 price and Cathryn was more than happy to. However my sister ended up paying the $ 115 at the dealership when she dropped off the car. Unbeknownst to me, Cathryn mailed us back $ 5 a week later which I thought was sincerely honest and heartfelt.
This is where the 5 star experience drops to 1 or 0.
The service advisor, Ivan, quoted us in the ballpark of $ 1200 to replace the compressor. Upon hearing this, I consulted my Bay Area mechanic to see if he was able to do it for cheaper. I was informed there were several components of the compressor system, and due to the vagueness of the work order to be completed from the service department, I was unable to get a straight answer. However, Cathryn reached out to my sister regarding the repairs to see if we could negotiate a lower price. I called Ivan back and left a message and the service department a message to see which part of the compression system needed to be fixed so I could pay for what parts needed to be fixed. But alas, no call back.
I essentially gave up on fixing it because $ 1200 was a steep price to pay, and I was especially turned away due to the fact no one called me back from the service department. Fast forward to last week when the car comes back to the Bay Area and I get a second opinion. The compressor DID NOT NEED TO BE REPLACED! The harmonic balancer needed to be replaced which completely fixed the noises coming from the engine AND FOR ONLY A FRACTION OF THE COST ($ 300!)! Its almost as if we paid these guys $ 110 to sit in our car with the engine on, turn on the AC to hear the noise, and chalk it up as a compressor problem without doing any actual work to see what the problem was.
I can only imagine what my reaction and this review would have been if I paid $ 1200 for something that didn’t needed to be fixed.
tl;dr
Service department quotes me $ 1200 for something that didn’t need fixing with piss poor communication. Major props to Cathryn for her excellent customer service.

IF you are buying a used car:
DON’T DECLINE the CONTRACT CANCELLATION OPTION AGREEMENT. As a buyer, we have a 2 day period called the «buyers remorse» where you can take the car back if you change your mind.
ITS THE FIRST THING THEY HAVE SIGN QUICKLY AND THEY DON’T TELL YOU WHAT YOU’RE SIGNING!!!
FREDDY ARAGON IS SHADY. He is one of their finance employees, he seems at ease and a «nice» guy dressed in matching button down and tie but don’t be fooled by appearances. When I slowed down on signing the contract, he was visibly disturbed. Research all your options before signing. I paid cash for the car and he worked fast.

A bunch of jokers… will never waste my time there again. spent 10 minutes there and didn’t get proper attention — a bunch of people changed on me within 10 minutes and never got any clear numbers to work with. the manager was not professional, joked right from the get-​go and non stop and I couldn’t take him seriously either. was trying to pressure me to buy on the spot within one minute of his walking into the office without even showing me any numbers on paper. just kept throwing exaggerated numbers at me then reducing them on his own without me saying anything yet.
Go to any other dealers in the county and don’t waste your time.

I came here for the FIRST time ever last week to get a simple car maintenance check-​up at the Service department & I have to say that I was very pleasantly surprised! Since I’m a college student that drives a car my parents’ own, my parents have usually been the ones to bring the car to the dealership back in my hometown. Therefore, I’ve never had to go in alone to get my car checked. So not only was this my first time at the Riverside Toyota Dealership, but this was my first time at any kind of car service department.
Because this was my first experience at a service department, I had no idea what to expect. However, the moment I pulled my car into the service line I was greeted by a nice man (whose name I’ve sadly forgotten) & was thanked for bringing my car to their dealership (how nice of him)! Then I soon met up with Ty who gave me the low down of what my maintenance check would consist of & was given an estimate wait time (which was exactly an hour and a half on a Monday morning).
The waiting room lobby was very spacious & well maintained. There’s also a TV & free coffee/​water to keep you occupied (but I’d definitely recommend bringing a book or a snack). Also, I heard from a friend that apparently there’s a shuttle that can take you from the dealership to places nearby if you don’t want to wait in the lobby (not too sure though since I didn’t see that advertised anywhere). After the wait, I was called up by Ty who gave me a short summary of the well-​being of my car, & all I did after that was pay a service fee of $ 39 (since I have Toyota Care) & I proceeded outside to wait for my car to be pulled up.
NOW, when I saw my car I was extremely surprised and happy to see that it was washed & spotless! I’m not sure if that’s what every service department does, but I was definitely in a good mood after that. Also, driving my car felt great. It felt more fluid & more firm.
I’d definitely recommend coming here. If you’re a first time college student (like me), don’t be intimidated! The employees I met were very friendly & the service was great (so hopefully you encounter the same people). Just remember to bring something to keep you occupied!

I recently had bought a KIA, I was in a lease. I wanted something different so almost a year in I tried getting a KIA Optima but the Sales Man from the dealership who recently sold me the car didn’t bother to see my options or help me out. So my parents purchased a car from Toyota and they mentioned my issue. The very next day we went to look at options. KIA Ontario made it seem nearly impossible for me to trade in my car a year in so I wasn’t too excited about being at the Toyota dealership. I ended up coming out with a 2016 Corolla Sport, LOVE IT SO MUCH!!! JJ, Moe & Tony are great! I highly recommend them if you are trying to buy a car from this dealership.
Just today we took my best friend in, she was looking for a used car and came out with a brand new 2016 Corolla sport as well and the payment was originally $ 446 and they managed to help her out to bring it to $ 377! She was so happy and it fit into her budget. These gentleman are great! That’s three cars in the last month my family has bought new cars, we plan on coming back to get my dad one. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Thank you so much!

One star because i can’t select zero. This is the most horrible car buying experience i had ever deal with.
Before we go to the dealer, I had work out the cost and then scheduled to come in to buy the car via email. I was told to ask to work with Perry Elise, which I did. after 10min of waiting no sign of Perry, I call the number on my email, got to work with some other sales… I ask about the offer, finally, he saw the email and said they will offer the deal, but the color we ask not available and now it cost more. I went over on the email to make sure the deal and model and color available before we goes there. I ask to speak to a manager, Perry finally came out with the response was «we don’t hold car, what ever available». Than what is the point on emailing and scheduling to make sure everything goes well along with a specific person to work with. My guess is, they are the king and customer is nothing to them.

I just purchased my 5^th Toyota truck, Riverside Toyota was great, no gimmicks or pressure just straight talk.
I told them what I was looking for, the payment I could afford and the options I wanted and they made it happen.
Everyone was genuinely friendly and helpful.
I’m coming back this weekend for a Rav4 for my wife!
