BUYERSBEWARE!!! The worst 2nd hand store EVER!!! The clothes are scattered all over the floor, nothing is organized, the store is a total mess, when you ask a question about merchandise the workers have attitudes. There is a older ugly lady that works at the front desk her name is patty she was so rude. DONTCOMEHERETOSHOPBUYERS!!!

Extremely unorganized. Came in looking for a costume, immediately walked out. There was absolutely no organization to where anything was.

You can’t go wrong here. The prices are consistent and fair. Most fridays they have 50% off. It’s usually pretty clean and straight. I mean, it’s a second hand store. You shouldn’t expect the clothes to be color coded and by size. I’ve never walked out empty handed. I’m usually here for costumes. The price is right for something I may only wear once. Their furniture selection is great. They have couches, cabinets, dressers and vanities. I’ve never seen it empty or low on stock. If you have time to browse take a chance.

Run away. Turn around. Get back in your car and go far, far away. This place is the worst Salvation Army, or thrift store I’ve ever walked into! The moment my husband and I walked in we knew we were going to be disappointed. Everything has its own personal stink and layer of dust and filth. I usually can say I found something nice when I go to thrift stores. Everything looked broken or missing a part. Disappointed, disgusted, and a little scared about the kind of people hanging out at the bus stop in front. AVOID!

This store is run-down, dirty, disorganized, and full of useless junk that should have been thrown away. Broken clocks? Melted candles? Clothes and other fabric items are dusty, dirty, and damaged. I picked up a crib bumper and it had a giant vomit splatter stain all over it. The children’s clothing is simply dumped onto about 3 racks, both boy and girl, from newborn to juniors. It is mixed in with a lot of women’s and men’s clothing too so it is impossible to find what you need. If you are looking for baby clothes above 3 months or toddler sizes, forget it, they have nothing. Tags are missing on most anything you would want to buy, except in the front left side of the store where the more valuable china ware and collectibles are. Everything in this section is hideously overpriced because on the weekends everything’s 50% off. Tons of VHS tapes and other completely useless stuff that they couldn’t even give away for free. It’s an effing zoo on the weekends. No seriously, I was in line behind a hippo and a zebra while chickens flapped around squawking and crying children shrieked at moms who showed what effective parents they are by ignoring the incessant noise of their child and their other various livestock. Donkeys blocked aisles and would not move even when addressed politely, and an alligator stole my cart to joyride up and down the rows of musty clothing. There are a few crazy old ladies talking really loud and stoned or drunk college kids trying to get COOLBROSTUFF for their BROPLACE every time I’m here. Bring Tarzan to help you shop or just gtfo as fast as you can, like I do. Place gives me a headache.

Sometimes great, sometimes nothing. I have definitely had the best luck with good books here, and they always have super deals. This morning I got 8 books for $ 1.50.

This store is dirty. The one in San Bernardino on E street is cleaner but the people who work their should be trained better. The manager is Kathryn and she is not any better. To bad, I think the salvation army does good things, but the stores are controlled by rude inexperience people.

My review pertains to one specific situation that happened on Monday. Let me start by saying that on Saturday, I purchased a couch at the store. When I first walked in and walked to the couches, I was met by a man who, somewhat rudely(although nothing I can’t handle) asked if I needed help. I was sitting on a couch(because, sir, you SITON A COUCHBEFOREYOUBUYIT.) that was marked $ 89, not bad when this shop is hocking used sofas for upwards of $ 300. Plus, that day, I had noticed a sign saying everything was 40% off, storewide. Alright! I told the man I was looking for a couch, and liked that one. I asked if they delivered, he said YES. He then proceeded to look at the tag, and tell me about the sale, saying I would get the couch for about $ 55. I was stoked, and and the deal was sealed. He told me to take the price tag off the couch and up to the register when I was ready to check out, and then I saw him put a sold sign on the couch. After I perused dirty, cluttered aisles for a few minutes(like the other reviewer stated), I checked out. Now, AFTER I paid for the couch, I was told by the employee that I would have to make arrangements with a private person to have the couch delivered. Now, I don’t mind that at all(and the guy who delivered the couch ended up being the one good thing about this whole stupid experience, he was so nice), but the guy should have told me that when I asked if THEY delivered and he said YES. Okay? Okay. So the next day I made arrangements to have the couch delivered on Monday. Now, I work all day, so my boyfriend agreed to come over to wait for the couch. When I got home later that evening– the couch was NOT the one I had paid for. I called the store first, and was given first to the employee who sold me the couch(Andres), who was explaining the issue to the man who had first helped me. Then I was given to one other person who did not give me their name. After that bit of run around, I was given to the manager, who would do absolutely everything EXCEPT take responsibility for the situation– even going so far as to blame me for not doublechecking the paperwork before leaving the store(paperwork? I wrote my name down on a sheet of paper that the employee stuck on the [apparently wrong] couch) and my boyfriend for not knowing it was the wrong couch(he was not with me when I bought it). She agreed to have it switched(I mean duh… I want the couch I paid for), but refused when I asked about having to pay for the extra delivery, yet again blaming everyone else but herself and her employees. I called the delivery man, who apologized profusely and agreed to switch the couches(for free– bless his heart), only… at this point, the manager discovered that the couch had been marked wrong, and she DIDN’T WANTTOGIVEITTOMEBECAUSE I HADN’T PAIDENOUGH. Seriously. So, yet again, somehow HEREMPLOYEES mis-pricing items and that initial man I encountered not realizing it is somehow the customer’s fault? Nah, lady. I had to drive across town to «verify my purchase» and she finally agreed to give me the frickin’ couch I PAIDFOR. I was trying to be pleasant, especially after a lady working the register apologized for everything(she was completely unrelated to the situation– yet she apologized, when no one else, including the manager, would), but, as I was leaving… …the manager said«next time, you should take a picture so your boyfriend knows what it looks like.» Are you F%$&ING kidding me?! No, lady, YOU should train your employees better and learn how to hold yourself accountable if you want to run a business! By the way, the manager’s name is Lori, and I will never be shopping at this store again. I understand that the Salvation Army does a lot of good for the community, but I will take my donations and shopping to a different store.
