Didn’t think this place could cut men’s hair so well, I took a leap of faith and tried it and the ladies were very familiar with men’s hair and the prices were lovely! 10 $ for a men’s haircut! My lady was very friendly and inviting I love the service

This is, by far, the worst haircut I have ever received. I don’t know how this place stays in business… Most likely 1 time customers that don’t return.
I would take a picture to show how bad my haircut is but that would be too embarrassing.
Basically, don’t go here, you WILL regret it.

This place was kind of hard to find because it’s in the back side of the Rite Aid Plaza and google maps drops you in the middle of the plaza. Once I found it, it was a small little salon with maybe 8 waiting chairs and 3 – 4 barber cutting stations. There were only 2 barbers and a decent line. The wait wasn’t too long for the amount of people in front of me. The barbers were friendly and they greet you as you enter. When it was my turn to go, I got Edgar who was very knowledgable when I had any questions. Overall, good experience; affordable and efficient.

Just moved to riverside. Had to find an inexpensive hair salon for a quick trim. Called on a Saturday to make an appointment for same day and booked me for 12:30. I got here just in time and I still had to wait. The wait was awkward since I’ve never been to a men’s and women’s hair salon. It’s been 15 mins waiting. Let’s see how this goes…
I had Edgar (I think that’s his name) work on my hair. He suggested cutting off damaged hair and side bangs. I’m very simple and easy going so I took his advise and chopped about 4 inches off.
Loved the outcome, paid $ 15 plus tip!

I was in town today for a conference and I had a couple of hours to spare and needed a hair cut. I went here after reading some good reviews and wanting an inexpensive cut, without going to super cuts or similar. This was a good experience. I had to wait a little bit, but that’s to be expected as a walk-​in. The guy was fast and did exactly what I asked for and I am very happy with the results. He washed it, cut between 2 and 4 inches off while keeping the style the same and even applied some mousse all for $ 15. What a great deal. I am a happy customer. If I lived here I would go back, but I do not so I will not have the pleasure of returning.

No appointment needed. I came in to get a shorter cut, but the ladies seemed scared about messing my hair up. They constantly asked if I wanted it shorter and that’s nice and all, but it kind of got annoying. So I just said that it was good enough and let them make any finishing touches.
The sign had read $ 12-​$ 15 for a girl’s cut. I ended up paying $ 18. They asked me if the extra charge for using card was okay… AFTER it was swipe. I mean, I guess. What am I suppose to do now.
My cut was okay. I think it helps that I’m not super picky, because one side ended up shorter than the other lol. One lady cut one half, then another lady came up and did the other half as the other went for lunch.
My friend got a short male cut and he said that everything went smoothly for him. So maybe the ladies I had were in training. OH WELL. GOOD THING HAIR GROWS BACK~
If you want a cheap cut and a place that gets the job done, then come heeeere~

I went here for the first time a couple years ago. The woman that did my hair was very professional and made me feel welcome. I’m pretty sure it was the owner who did my hair that time. So i continued to go back on and off and I likes the way the cut my hair and the way they treated their customers. A couple of weeks ago I went in around 6:45pm, the barber told me he was done for the day and that I needed to come back next week. I went back the fallowing week around 6:30pm. Before I got to the front door one of the kids working there got up and walked to the door and flipped the «open» sign to «closed». I told him that I thought they closed at 7 and he said that they do but they were done for the day. DISAPPOINTING to see a place with great potential have employees who, one, don’t want to work, and two, have no interest in costumer satisfaction.

I got my haircut from Graciela, Let me just say she is awesome. Her prices are reasonable, the service was professional and efficient, I have finally found a salon that I am honestly happy with my hair cut. Will be going back again for sure. Thank you!

I went here for a haircut for the first time yesterday, somewhat nervous about trying a new place. When I walked in at 4:30 on a Monday afternoon, I was seated right away. The haircut was fast and the hairdresser was very friendly. She was constantly asking me how I wanted her to cut it to make sure I was happy with it and showed me the length before she cut it. I was pleased with the end result and they only charged 15, which is very reasonable. I will be returning for my next haircut. It is great for both women and men haircuts.

New to the area, I went to Unilocal to find affordable hair salons that will fit a student’s budget. Per the reviews, I went to Thania’s Hair Salon, and I was not disappointed, especially in terms of cost. I was immediately placed in a chair, as it was a slow afternoon for them. I got a haircut for $ 15 (they accept card and cash). I only had to give a general idea of what I wanted my new hair to be like, and my hair dresser somehow read my mind! She also paused to ask me multiple points in time to check on my hair, and was very receptive to feedback. One thing I thought was less than ideal was that my hair dresser took a long (ish) break in the middle of my haircut, left the station, to answer inquiries from a prospective customer. Other than that, for the price and quality of haircut, I cannot complain, and I will definitely be back for many more hair cuts in the future!!! What a great find!

Graciella is AMAZING! I’ve never had anyone else cut my hair from here but since I found Graciella about 4 years ago, I won’t let anyone cut my hair. It’s a super cheap price whether it’s a wash, cut, and style for $ 15 or a color job. I always give Gracie a little freedom and give her an idea of what I want but never tell her exactly. She never fails me. Recently I went to her to go from long hair to a short a-​line cut and I got a huge amount of compliments and was very pleased with the result. My profile pic was taken right after one of my fav cuts/​colors.

I love my haircut! The guy who did my hair knew just what I wanted. When I first walked in I felt positive energy from everyone who worked there. They made me feel welcomed. Even though I am hearing impaired I still received a lot of smiles. I would encourage you to go to this place, the price was very reasonable. :)

The lady who cut my hair gave me a wash and cut for $ 19. Great price. I was pleased with the job and will return again.

I found this place on Unilocal and thought it was a great price. It’s convenient that it’s right by UCR so we could just drive over after class. I had a haircut here before and she fixed my hair because It was poorly cut before. When I was there I saw that a lot of guys come here to get their cuts here and are returners. I always bug my boyfriend to get a haircut when it gets too long so I took him here and now he’s definitely a returner. The guys there are really welcoming and talkative. Edgar (I believe that’s his name, this is a shoutout cuz he reads these reviews) kept me company when my boyfriend got his haircut. He decided to curl my hair just for fun as I waited. It was really nice of him and I liked my hair a lot after. Before I knew it my boyfriend was already done and his hair looked great. The cuts here are always really clean. Pretty awesome experience.

You get what you pay for. Crappy 8 $ cuts. The «owner» is an idiot the rest are rude with ugly hair themselves they dont know how to cut hair, i would really like to look your license numbers up in the stateboard website to see if you all are even quilified to cut, you dont ask what people want until youre half way done, your graduation for an a line is HORRID your customer service to buy chips is ridiculous, and most of all UNSANITARY using the same comb on me as the last customer. DISGUSTING cheap ass place go to school you dont even know sanitizing basics EW

Wow! People sure are dumb to go here! Id give it negative stars if I could! I went to this place only to find out by a PROFESSIONAL my hair is cut DISGUSTINGLY by IMELDA THE «OWNER» of the place! I wanted an a line bob and got the eorst thing ive EVER seen! This place is DIRTY doesn’t sanitize tools its small and yet I dont understand how people rated this 5 stars! Ladies go to a PROFESSIONAL you more than likely will find out and be just as embarrassed as I walk with the results this woman gave my hair! Graciela is rude and looking like shes smelling a dirty diaper all the time. Since this is a public establishment I will go in there and run through the public systems their cosmetology licenses because im more than sure theyre either outdated or FAKE I will be attaching a picture of my hair so EVERY one can see what the OWNER of this salon did to my hair! These women should be embarrassed!

I was pleasantly surprised to find out that there actually is such a thing as a good $ 10 hair cut. This is coming from a girl who only let one hair dresser cut my hair for nearly three years at the price of $ 60, so we’re talking expert level fancy salon where they give you tea and a scalp massage.
Since I moved to Riverside and am now on a budget, I had to find a new place and also a place that does it for much less than $ 60.
The lady who cut my hair was very friendly, she listened to what I was going for. I mean for once when I said my side bangs were heavy and needed to be lighter she knew what I meant. Who would of thought a request like that would confuse people before? But this lady got it! She asked questions about lengths as she cut my hair, there was constant communication which is a good thing. It shows she cares about her job and what she is doing. My hair came out just as I pictured it and I couldn’t be happier.
TL;DR: If you know what you want, you can get a good hair cut for $ 10.

After reading a good review of Graciela I decided to try this place out, I called to set an appt with her.
When I got there she wasn’t busy with another client, which was a plus to not having waited so long! I browsed through the book of hairstyles & found one I wanted. She executed the cut to duplicate the style quick and I loved it.
I wouldn’t mind going here again and suggest anyone to try them out!

$ 8 for a nice cut for the husband. Not bad for the area. Always busy here, I would make an appointment.
