Gettin Faded Barber Shop

This place was terrible.
I walked in and saw a guy sitting in on one of the chairs and thought «Oh this guy must be waiting to get his hair cut while the barber is in back getting something». He was a fat guy. Like a HUUGGEE fat guy. Then 5 minutes passed and he was like «Come over here», I didn’t even realize he was the barber, he was just looking at his phone while I was waiting.
Anyways I told him (his name is AJ) what I wanted and tried to strike up conversation but he didn’t want to talk… to me. One of his ‘homeboys’ called him on the phone and they were reminiscing about old times and talking about how much money my barber made from getting in a car accident. While he held his phone with one hand, he jabbed my head with the clippers with the other hand (ouch!). The end result was atrocius. My sideburns are completely crooked, the top of my head (I comb it over) just looks dumb, and on the right side it looks like I’m balding. I can’t believe I spent 15 bucks on it.

After today I don’t think I will be returning, I was ahead of two people yet somehow I was skiped. I let it slide thinking they had appointments but then quickly realized they choose their friends before other customers. I decided to get up an leave when they took a third a guy that wasn’t even waiting there for 10 mins (keep in mind I was sitting there for 1hr). Real waste of time…

Worst haircut I’ve ever gotten, had to go home and spend 20 mins re-​cutting my hair to make it even. He couldn’t even trim my mustache straight and now I have one side that looks like an actual mustache an the other looks more like a piece of yarn. I basically paid $ 18 bucks for a bad line-​up

This is the best shop you can go to in the IE. It’s located next to everything! The vibe is cool inside, the barbers are friendly and the atmosphere is relaxed. Go see CJ, he’s the best! If you want to get in and out but still come out looking FRESH, he’s the guy to see!

The best place to get your head cut up! Decent prices for amazing cuts. I get my cuts from «L». He’s on point.

I have been looking for a new Barber in Riverside, I used to go to one of the best guys in Oceanside in North County San Diego. My family are old time orange farmers from Riverside and so I have been a Riverside local since dating back to the old days. I was impressed with the level of service at Gettin Faded. These guys enjoy what they do and are talented. We all had conversations about some of my favorite people who have inspired my life such as Basketballs– Michael Jordan and Boxing Legends such as Muhammad Ali, Mike Tyson, Mayweather and Pacman! I think I even heard the name Bruce Lee when I was there who also has played a large role in my life and I have read all of his books. They have some great inspirational people framed on the walls, this place is good to go! …Positive Vibe.
…A.J. cut my hair and I was impressed with his skill set, my Fade came out perfect. Bottom Line; Excellent Service and Even better performance with regards to my FADE and Haircut!!! FADED on the sides and spiked on the top… AJ made sure I left looking Fresh!

First time and only time. Walked into a nice sports theme room. Only 2 workers in. I sat and waited for my turn. Listen to their conversation and watched tv. I was called up let him know what I wanted, bada bing bada boom! I got up looking too fresh! If I could keep my hairstyle maintained I would be back all the time but I can only come once a month. So being too fresh was too much for me. If you can hit this place up at least once every other week, then come here! Get the too fresh look and get yourself some women!!! Or girls if you haven’t hit grown man status yet.

Great place to get a fade. The price is cheap to compared to other joints. They are Steelers fans! Located right next to Stater Bros.

Been looking for a barber for a hot minute in this new area and I’m glad I found a joint near the pad… Got a 2 guard taper from CJ… Dude got me so fresh and so clean. Taper looks clean, lines look clean and for $ 15, it aint a bad deal. a few spots around have been as low as 8 – 10 but they can’t get u faded proper like… They got ESPN going on all screens to keep ya occupied if u too faded to talk ya dig lol. Feels like home again

I liked this barber shop, i took my 3 year old and he was not crying he was actually really calm. I dont know the guys name who cut his hair but he was tall and skinny. He did a good job and my son was very calm and he usually cries. Good job.4.5 star

We needed to find a place he could get his hair cut. We used Unilocal and really picked it cause of the name and it was close by. He left saying «not much of a Steelers fan. But they were pretty cool» so… I guess they are Steelers fans but my boo did look good. We come to Cali often, and its the only place he’ll go to get his hair cut out here. He’s taking our son there tomorrow too. Highly recommended by him.

Hands down one of the best if not THE BEST barber shop in Riverside. I’ve been looking everywhere in this damn city to get a fade that I liked and this place is awesome. Great Service, Friendly people, and a cool environment. ⁵⁄₅
