Superior Plumbing, Heating and A/C

Contacted Superior Plumbing through our home warranty. Adell was responsive, knowledgeable, friendly, and made repairs quickly. We are very happy with the service from Superior.

On Sunday December ¹³⁄₁₅ I noticed some lifting of the floorboards and a bit of water in the hallway of my house. I called my home warranty company and they sent out Superior Plumbing. They came to assess the problem and told me that the leak was inside the house. I started making plans for repair, but things didn’t move much for the first few days, aside from my insurance company sent out two other companies to dry the moisture and test for lead and asbestos.
About one week later, on Monday December ²¹⁄₁₅ I was trying to get things moving and called Adele, the Superior Plumbing serviceman who had come to my house. He said he was sending out someone else to assess and pinpoint the leak. A different plumber named Rob came to my house and assessed and made recommendations. Rob told me that he does not work for Superior Plumbing, but he helps them sometimes with assessment of the problem.
After this, Superior Plumbing wrote up a quote for my insurance company, but no actual plumbing work took place. By this time it was almost Christmas so I knew nothing would be done until the next week. I emailed Superior Plumbing Wednesday December ²³⁄₁₅ asking about the plan so I could make arrangements with work if needed, but never received a reply.
After Christmas I called Superior Plumbing again the morning of Monday, December 28/​15, and left a voicemail. After receiving no return call, I called again in the early afternoon and left another voicemail, and this time received a call back. Adele said that the other plumber Rob works for him, and he wanted Rob to do the job, but Rob wasn’t answering his texts. (Rob had previously told me that he doesn’t work for Superior Plumbing, and that he was going out of town for the holidays, and would not be able to do the job until January). Adele said he would assign someone else to the job and I would receive a call back soon from himself or that person, but I received no other phone call, so late the next morning, nearly 24 hours later, I found myself a new plumber.
I would not recommend Superior Plumbing.

They were sent by my home warranty company to repair my garbage disposal. When the plumber arrived he replaced the disposal with a new one. When he took the new one out of the box he laid it down on my wood floor and started hitting it with some tool! I told him to please put something under it so he wouldn’t damage my floor. He said not to worry because he wasn’t hitting it where it was touching the floor but it was!
Then when he was finishing up I heard a loud bang right where he was working. He seemed in a rush to leave and within minutes of him leaving I walked into my kitchen and saw that my floor had been damaged. I called him right away and told him what I saw. He got very defensive and started yelling at me. I told him that he needed to calm down and not yell at me.
I know he damaged my floor and a simple apology would have sufficed. It was fresh damage because as soon as I mopped over it the gouges turned darker in color. I don’t recommend this company because of their lack of professionalism and integrity. If your warranty company assigns them I suggest you call and ask for a different plumber!

My AC broke when temperatures were exceeding 100 degrees. My insurance company referred me to a contractor that would not be able to get to me for a week! I requested to use a different contractor and that’s when I contacted Superior. They came out the same day, found the problem, had the part on their truck and my air conditioner was up and running again! Awesome service, knowledgeable and reasonable. Would definitely recommend.

This company was sent to our house by our insurance company three times and they said nothing was wrong with our central air unit, yet we kept having problems. We finally called another company and they found the source of the problem right away. I do not recommend Superior Plumbing, Heating, and Air Conditioning at all. The employees that were sent to our house did not seem interested in fixing anything or answering any of our questions. They were more interested in getting to their next appointment. Don’t waste your time and money on these guys.

Very disappointed and actually quite frustrated. We have been without air going on day 10 now. First, they had to order the part (compressor). That took 5 days. Granted, our warranty company was likely the cause of most of that delay. But the Superior serviceman, Adele, never checked the inside unit after installation. Then, he left. There were problems with the inside unit. So, we had to ask for a call back. They waited two days (through the weekend) before coming back. Once they got here, they did not open the unit or look at the coils. Without looking, he said the coils needed cleaning, even though we had cleaned them already. Instead of working on the unit, he said he didn’t have time to fix it, and he left. Unbelievable!
