Established in 2005.

RKM Heating and Air was started By the Krening family. When the housing market took off thousands of homes were raised a day without quality installation or knowledgeable installers and service Technicians which resulted in premature failure in new system or in adequate cooling and/​or heating capacities. RKM saw a need for true NATE Certified experienced technicians and installers to resolve issue properly, timely, customer friendly and without pressure tactics used by other HVAC companies.

RKM will set down with a trained certified technician after a detailed diagnosis of your system and work with you options that will resolve your true comfort issues with multiple choices so you can make an informative dissection based on your wants and needs.

Started in HVAC Construction in 1999 with birth of his new born daughter and newly wedded wife Theresa.

Robert continued in the industry and continues training with the knowledge of Full design, drafting, program design, energy testing, Duct testing, indoor air quality, and full understanding of the complete system in a whole.

Certificates in IAQ (indoor air quality) NATE, Preventative Maintenance, Manufacture Training, Computer aid drafting, Customer service excel, Manuel j, d, s calculations, Duct cleaning, Energy audit, EPA, 410a. Honeywell pro contractor, Insulation, electrical, plumbing, framing and drywall knowledge.

Mike returned Wednesday morning and replaced the current Inducer Motor Assembly and Wheel on my Lennox heating system. I also had him replace the old Honeywell (Totaline) Thermostat with a new Honeywell VisonPRO touchscreen with wireless focus Pro redlink and wire to air handler for remote comfort control. My house has two heating and air systems. Before the temperature was always uncomfortable in one zone (area: Bedrooms vs Family/​Living/​Kitchen). My system would constantly run non stop, heating or cooling one of the zone but not the other. I have had the system one day now and what a difference. The system controls temperature evenly throughout the house. It no longer runs all the time and the entire house is comfortable. Another benefit of the new thermostat is that it is easy to read and operate. Mike or Michael was fantastic as always. Thank you RKM staff!

Mike replaced my 20 year old AC with a new AC and a new furnace. He also added dampers to control the flow of air to increase the amount of air flowing to some of my upstairs rooms that were too warm. I’m glad i went with them. Their service is top notch.

Peter was our service technician. Called Tuesday and made an appointment for Wednesday between 1 and 5pm and Peter showed up at 11:15AM! Our ac wasn’t blowing as cold as it used too so called RKM and what a great choice that was. I explained what I noticed different about the AC’s performance and Peter explained what the possible problems were and got right to work. The condenser drain line was clogged and the refrigerant was low. Peter told me the costs of everything up front and fixed it all within 1 hour. Our AC is now working better than ever. Before it took 3 hours to cool the house down 3 – 5 degrees, now it only takes 20 minutes if that. I will recommend RKM to everyone I know. Great job Peter!

Matt was terrific. Our unit was never cleaned or checked sense it was installed 25 years ago. Purchased the Angie list deal for 59.95. Matt went through the unit both electrically and checked the freon! Later he cleaned the condenser grill and surrounding area. I had used them before for the heating part of the unit last year and again they were professional and extremely informative. I am a Mechanical Engineer and would use them again!!!

RKM came out when my HVAC would not work with a new thermostat. The model’s customer support had no advice of value. RKM discovered that the electrical panel had been reworked when we had our pool put it. The outlet for the forced air unit was now joined with another circuit. So when installing the thermostat, power supply was not actually turned off. This caused the transformer for forced air unit to be damaged when new thermostat was turned on. All wiring was correct. The tech from RKM was friendly, professional and arrived early. I will definitely call them again when an HVAC problem comes up.

I highly recommend RKM for a new HVAC system! They came and put in the new HVAC system and it worked perfectly! They are professional and a old fashioned hard working crew! We shopped around and got quotes from several other companies and we are very happy with our choice of using RKM Heating and Air! We are selling our house but now with the new system in now «I hate to leave»!! Wish I could have RKM up where we are building a new house! THANK YOU RKM!!!

I called RKM and explained that I needed them to evaluate the HVAC system, then put their findings in writing so I could submit to my insurance company for a claim. The fellow with no hair comes over, checks a couple things on the compressor, does not evaluate the furnace or evap coils, tells me the compressor is ready to die when it’s only 3 years old and was collecting his $ 69.00 within ½ hour after arriving. I told him to his face, that I need the findings documented for Insurance purposes. He said I would get it all by email. Well… two weeks later and multiple calls and all I have received is an invoice and a quotation, which by the way was extremely overpriced. I have not received my eval findings and have now come to the conclusion that I gave away $ 69.00 for someones ½ hours of time and have nothing to show for it.
Now I need to hire another AC professional to duplicate the work I already paid for because RKM heating screwed me.

I have always had great service with Robert at RKM. He is great with scheduling appointments quickly and is very detailed in explaining everything. As a real estate professional, I have a lot of clients that ask me for a good recommendation for an honest A/​C person with good prices. Every client I have recommended this company to has been very happy with their quotes and service. For any new AC /​Heating System, I would recommend calling Robert at RKM.

Very nice guy but totally overcharged me. Of course, I didn’t realize it until I researched the internet. They were actually recommended by a Realtor I know. I think that the Realtor must get a «spiff» of some sort. The guy said after I post a good review on Unilocal they will send me a check. Can’t remember the amount maybe $ 10.00. I’ve been meaning to write this review for quite a long time so I’m glad I finally did it!

I selected RKM after having four companies give estimates for replacing an old furnace with a new furnace/​air combo. The first impression was great. Robert was the ONLY person to actually do energy calcs to determine what I needed.
He spent over 2 ½ hours and gave me several options before giving me the most detailed quote showing everything they would provide and do.
Then the next day he calls and ‘says’ the company (Rheem) has changed their pricing so the quote has changed… IT WENT DOWN BY OVER $ 800!!!
I have never had a company do that…
The install went well with extra work being being done that was missed during the quote at no extra charge. They cleaned up everything, AND every person I contacted was pleasant and knew what they were talking about.
These guys (and gals) are my go to company for heating and air… I’d give them SIX STARS if I could.
