We have been ordering there for the past ten years and the food is always good. But the last few times the service has been awful. It has taken an hour to get the food and when they do show up they have messed up the order. The last time they forgot the drinks(this was the third time that has happened). The guy tells me I will be right back with them. The restaurant is about a 5 min. drive up the street. It took him almost 30 mins. to return with the drinks. The problem with that was we had already finished our meals. When I called the restaurant and asked for the manager the guy who answered the phone(the owner’s son) was talking with me saying how sorry he was while trying to muffle his laughter. I will be calling he Dad on Monday… see if he laughs then. I guess we will be ordering from one of the other 20+ places that sell subs and pizzas in the future.

I love Rhodes Pizza! There are so many pizza joints around and I’ve tried most of them. We get pizza regularly here at Rhodes. The crust is nice and crispy and tender. Its perfect. Never undercooked like some places. Never dry like others. My son won’t usually eat crust. But he always eats it here! It’s not too greasy but just greasy enough. I dislike a Greasy pizza. Toppings are great. Sauce is good and the cheese. Chicken wings we like and always get them extra crispy. Haven’t tried the sandwiches but the calzones are awesome! Most of the other regular pizza places around cannot compare. They are consistent too. I cannot understand some of the other bad reviews. And I’m picky. They are friendly and nice. Family owned. Older sweet woman runs the register. So She doesn’t always show her pearly whites when you walk in. But give her a break. She works hard and is not overbearing and phony. They guys in the back always look up and say hello and smile too. Great place! Great food!

I’ve had pizza, wings, etc. from here before and it was always on par with any other small food joint in the area. This time I decided to order fish and chips and it was literally the worst I’ve ever had. It was a thin soggy strip of horse shit. I felt like I was eating a wet sock. I regret not buying McDonalds instead.

Ordered the chicken salad club. It seems they left out the chicken, plenty of mayonaise though. Straight up disgusting. The rest of food is just okay but this club was gross. Delivery service is good. We order from this place regularly when I’m at work. They always treat us good.

We LOVE Rhodes Pizza! We had them cater a 40th birthday party & now our friends LOVE them too. The garlic pizza with white sauce is amazing & the Greek salad with marinated grilled chicken is another favorite!

OK food. Typical pizza place. I ordered a meatball sub for my kid and an Italian for me. Ho hum, my son said it was okay and mine was ok.

Every Halloween we order pickup for all the guests at our home before we take the little ones trick or treating. I’ve been to Rhodes a handful of times for pickup and delivery. Last night we ordered 2 large 3 topping pizzas. Order extra cheese and the sauce is on the sweet side not like I’m used to growing up on Italian pizza but still ok. 2 large mozz sticks. Lite breading not a gooey cheese tho. Large fries. Crispy outside nice soft bite ok. 1 large steak and cheese calzone. Packed with chopped steak plenty of cheese and huge. 1 large Italian calzone. Packed with meats a lot of cheese on top wish it came with a snap like hot peppers or spice but still good. The price wasn’t too bad I mean we ordered a lot and the staff is super friendly every time I go in or call.

Terrible. I ordered chicken wings and they were extremely spicy and under cooked. When I called to return them they were rude and wanted to charge me for another batch even though they messed the order.

Everyone in there seems to just hate life… extremely miserable and very unwelcoming! The wings & mozzarella sticks were beyond gross, but the pizza was decent… I guess!

I read a review on this taking the cake of being the worst. I cannot help but agree. I walked in and was hardly noticed as a customer. I ordered a meatball sub and the price was well above what I would pay at Subway. In all fairness, I expect that from a mom and pop place and that is not what bothered me. What bothered me was tiny frozen meatballs that were horrible in quality. When I go to a mom and pop place, I go for fresh ingredients. This place failed in every way and let me know why I was about the only person there. If you cannot take the time to make a home-made meatball(which anyone can do easily), then I will go elsewhere. The only reason I am giving a star is because taking that star back is not an option that Unilocal offers me.

This place takes the cake for being the worst. The people there all looked miserable, no one greeted us when we walked in, and we waited 10 minutes to place our order. If you’re gonna own a restaurant take pride. I think it’s being generous giving them even one star.

The pizza is pretty good. Ordinary pizza place, the other food they have is not too bad. All in all acceptable place.

First impression: very unwelcoming. The first thing I noticed was a sign that stated the restroom was for paying customers only. I realize their close proximity to the bike path has influenced this, but as a runner/biker who frequents the bike path, it was a little annoying that they were so blatantly inhospitable. They might want to consider being more friendly to the bike path users. It might actually increase business, clearly a novel concept at this place. The service: I waited almost 10 minutes for someone to come out front to take my order for takeout. There was no one else in line! When someone finally came out, she was not friendly and did not smile. She looked completely miserable! It was as if I were bothering her by daring to order food during business hours! The food: I ordered a basic calzone; spinach, cheese, and pepperoni. It was mediocre at best. It certainly did not come close to making up for the bad first impression and even worse service. To top it off, they charge a fee to customers who use credit cards for orders under $ 10. I do not plan to return.

I used to be a regular Rhodes customer, going about once a week for the past 5 – 6 years. However, I will never go back after they gave me a stone cold order of fish and chips that someone had taken by accident that they gave me after it was returned to the store! The food itself is mediocre. The only really decent thing they make is the pizza. Everything else is just meh. There are better pizza places around.

This is the little Greek pizza joint that you want in your neighborhood. Gyros, salads, and sandwiches are tasty and well made. Home made baklava is delicious. And the pizza is quite good. It is a medium thickness crust, tasty and well made, very much in the style of Greek pizza joints everywhere. If you are looking for brick-oven thin crust, Rhodes can’t help you — but for what they are, they do it well. Lots of choices for toppings, and pretty generous with them. Try the ‘Fenway’. Bonus points for offering anchovy(Yeah I know, «ewww!» you say… but you never actually TRIED it did you? I hadn’t until pretty recently, but was instantly converted — makes the whole flavor profile of the pie more rich and savory. Try adding them to the House Special, seriously!) Calzones are big and delicious; small is big enough and large is quite large. My biggest complaint on the food here, is that the mushrooms are of poor quality. Canned. I love mushrooms on my pizza, in my calzone — but I don’t bother to order mushrooms here.(If you are reading this: Ditch the canned mushrooms and get FRESH ones. Seriously. Maybe a lot of people are fine with canned ones — but there is really no excuse. Gordon Ramsay or Robert Irvine would kick your butts over this!) (Also a small item lacking is Ricotta — I love a good cheese calzone with Ricotta and Mozz, but without the Ricotta it’s just not the same. Also gobs of it as a pizza topping, with sausage, or on a white pizza — very tasty.)

Stopped here with a friend who recommended the place for a stop along the East Bay Bike Path. I got the Chicken BLT Wrap. I was so satisfied that I had to come here and share my joy. Got way more than I expected. This is NOT a healthy menu choice but boy was it delicious. The wrap was about a foot long in diameter. Thats huge. Bigger than a dinner plate. It was stuffed with tons of tender bacon, tender chicken, lettuce, and tomato, with a sweet and falvorful sauce. Next time I bike the East Bay Bike Path, I will be requesting we stop here again, and maybe someone will split it with me this time. All else I know is that the gyro my friend got looked good, and she recommended the place. Seems like a great place for a hot tasty to-go lunch made with real ingredients by local people.

Awful greesy pizza, unless you want explosive vomiting, do not eat there. The sandwhiches, wraps and burgers are poorly made and over priced for the quality they put out. And if you let them know about any problems they simply do not care.

By far my favorite pizza! This is a little, tacky pizza joint that serves the most amazing pizza I’ve had in RI. The salads are also fresh and delicious with the pizza. I think what makes this pizza stand out is the fact that each component is a star on its own. The toppings. The cheese. The sauce. And the CRUST! The dough is absolutely amazing and different from most main stream pizzas… in a good way. Yes, the ambiance is old school booths, but when I want pizza I usually am rocking sweatpants and am not eager to «dress to impress.» No frills, just GREAT pizza.

Rhode’s Pizza is my go-to establishment for pizza, italian, and calzone dishes on the run! After trying out several restaurants since moving to this area, I’ve found myself entering the doors of Rhode’s time and time again. Their greek-style pizza has a delectable blend of cheeses and plentiful toppings to choose from. Usually when ordering pizza here, I’ll go for the everyday special«2 Large 1-Topping Pizzas» for $ 14.99. Tried options ranging from ham, to broccoli, to bacon! All of which were very tasty(though I’d enjoy the ham topping a bit more if it was cubed ham rather than strips of deli ham.) Other toppings.. . to name a few.. . include linguica, spinach, garlic, meatball, hamburger, peppers, feta cheese, etc. White and other Gourmet pizza deals available! Moving on.. . the calzones are gigantic! Enough for two meals, easily. I highly recommend the Italian calzone filled with pepperoni, genoa salami, cooked salami, mortadella, cheddar, and mozzarella cheese. I most recently ordered the Chicken Broccoli Alfredo over Ziti.. . and I would definitely order it again. Tons of flavor, lots of chicken! Several other options to choose from including a variety of grinders, burgers, salads, and pasta dishes. Prices are fair.. . average large grinder is $ 6, pizza $ 9 — $ 14, pasta dish $ 5 — $ 8, salad $ 5 — $ 7. Check ‘em out!
