Ojeda R Alonso, MD

I have been going to this doctor for over 7 years. I used to see Laura the PA. I’ve never actually seen Dr. Ojeda, but his staff is great!
At my last visit I saw Jasmine his new PA. She is very professional and helpful. She didn’t rush the appointment and she listens to patient concerns.
I can’t be happier with the patient care. I drive out from the Temecula area just to be seen at this office.
I highly recommend this office. It’s centrally located in downtown Riverside and is always nice and clean and professional.

I have been going to Dr. Ojeda for 17 years and I absolutely love him! He has been there through 2 of my pregnancies and I have healthy babies thanks to Dr. Ojeda. Dr. Ojeda always has been more on the cautious side and when my pregnancies developed issues he was quick to have me see a specialist immediately after I left his office. I cannot say enough great things about him. One of the only reasons I stay with my network is to have the ability to see Dr. Ojeda.

7 weeks along, he spends all of 10 seconds with an abdominal ultrasound on my belly and doesn’t see a baby. says, why don’t we move on to the pap smear. less than 10 minutes with him and he’s already walking out, telling me to make an appt to see him in 4 weeks. How do you send a pregnant woman off and tell her to follow up in 4 WEEKS??? when you’ve just told her you don’t see a baby and now she’s wondering if the pregnancy is viable? He didn’t even attempt a transvaginal ultrasound to find the baby, which I’ve read from other mom’s works best for a tilted uterus. I don’t understand the inconsideration.

Dr Ojeda did a biopsy on me. He was so kind! He explained every step and helped me to feel as comfortable as possible. He’s really quick on visits but if I tell him I have questions he answers in a way I can understand. He orders a lot of tests which is great! The office staff is very professional and helpful.

DO NOT TRUST THIS DOCTOR!!! As a mature woman, I was appalled by Dr. Ojedas «bedside manner». I was preparing for a surgical procedure, and while in his office, he did not explain what the procedure would entail, but just threw paperwork at me, while making the statement, «if you sit here and read the papers instead of just signing it, we’ll be here all day». When I tried to ask questions about my health, he blew me off as if I was bothering him.
His arrogance, lack of professionalism and disrespectful speech to his female patients is completely unwarranted.
Its very, very obvious this «Dr» is in this business strictly for the money.

I am so Happy Dr. Salazar is now at this practice. He has been my gyno for a few years now. He has a great bed side manner and always makes me feel at ease. He has a great personality and Los medical assistant Liz is kind sweet and welcoming.

I expected more from Dr. Ojeda since his reviews are so high. His nurse practitioner is great. I went in for my second appointment, never met the Dr. He asked to sit on the table and rushed to hear the baby’s heart beat. He then says «see you in 4 weeks» I expected him to ask if I had any questions since I did. He was there less than 4 seconds! Not happy! Since I had a open heart surgery I asked how he was going to handle my baby’s care? He asked for me to see my family doctor and he would reefer me out to a Cardiologist! WHY WOULD I GO TO MY FAMILY DOCTOR? If HE is in care for my health along with my baby’s health? Now I’m searching for a new OB, he shows no care for his patients, rushes in and out of the door, careless DR.

I am shocked by the reviews on here. Just moved to this area and this is the first OGBYN I’ve seen. I had an appointment for 9:30AM, parking is not the greatest and the waiting room is fine. I found it odd when I arrived 15 minutes early that there were literally at least 15 women there waiting. After filing out all my paperwork and waiting, it was after 10AM. About 10 women that arrived after me had been called before me. I just decided to not bug the nurses and just wait. When I was called in to do blood pressure and weight (I was not here for an annual, I was here for an issue), the nurse convinced me to do my annual. She sent me back out to the waiting room to wait for an exam room. Few minutes later I was called back in and changed for the exam. The doctor whisked into the room with a female assistant following and had no clue I had an issue I came there for, he was only interested in doing the annual exam. He was in and out in about 3 minutes and I felt a bit violated, and like I was scheduled the quickest appointment in the world for this doctor to make money.
This office in my experience treated me like a cash cow.
It was my responsibility to tell the women up front what tests the doctor ordered. When I went for a blood test, I was told the results would be ready in 2 days. Long story short, the nurses were inaccurate and they do not give any test results over the phone, so you have to come back and pay another copay just to get the results and if your lucky see the doctor longer than a blink of an eye.
This is the worst OBGYN I’ve had the entire time I’ve ever gone to OBGYN’s.
After my appointment I went online to look up the top OBGYN’s in the area and this doctor is one of them, wow. I’ve seen on a few other doctor review sites that a lot of people had the same issues I did, but not on Unilocal

Dr. Ojeda is a very caring and wonderful doctor. He came highly recommended to me. He delivered my twins. He always takes the time to answer any questions that I have.

I can’t say enough good things about this office.
I’ve gone to Laura, the nurse practitioner, 3 times now and she is so down-​to-​earth and genuinely interested in her patients. Makes me feel really at ease, which is hard to do considering…
She’s also very conscious of the fact that I don’t have insurance when ordering tests and follow up appointments. I had insurance when I started going here and I am still able to be seen now that I no longer have it.
The office staff is also very kind and professional.
SO glad this place exists. Highly recommended.

Fantastic doctor… always seen on time and usually before we are finished with our paperwork which was shocking… and hes got a great sense of humor!

Love love LOVE Dr. Ojeda! I’ve been seeing him for 15 years and wouldn’t go to another OB/​GYN unless I had to. The office is nice, staff helpful, I love his nurse (I can’t remember her name but she’s delightful), and he’s a very caring doctor… a little on the soft-​spoken side but he is all around wonderful. His office also now has a Nurse Practitioner, Laura, who also takes on patients and she is FANTASTIC!
