The raised donuts were very good, but the buttermilk bars tasted like they were fried in old oil. I hope this was just a one off. I will definitely give them a second chance because the raised donuts were so good, but change that oil guys!

Listen to Weston, John, Caydin, Dia and Lisa, Valley Donuts not only has the dopest name, they have the dopest raised donuts. For sure. Bank. Count on it.

If you feel like tasting the food of the gods with a dash of rainbows filled with happiness of a hundred children in Disneyland, this is the place to go. THESEDOUGHNUTSARETHEBEST I’VEEVERHADINMYSIXTEENYEARSOFEXISTENCE. Seriously, Krispy Kreme, Dunkin Donuts, and even Mr. T’s don’t compare to this haven. Definitely coming here for another doughnut pig-out.

The very BEST donuts I’ve ever had. The classic glazed donut was fluffy, light and yeasty. Absolutely perfect. The buttermilk bars are moist and have the perfect crunch on the outside. We rarely eat donuts, but when we do, this the place to go. Mr. T’s ain’t got nothin’ on Valley Donuts!

First time visitor and the woman behind the counter was so friendly. They’ve been doing donuts for 17 years and still very pleasant to talk to. She joked that they still eat donuts too, and her favorite donut is a plain old fashioned donut. I was surprised to see they don’t fill the donuts till you order them which was a nice touch. But you have to go early because they will run out!

Best Fresh Donuts! Always delicious and the owners are very friendly. They often greet us by name and always remember the kid’s favorites. Much rather support a mom and pop local business that has the best customer service and donuts then to support a franchise.

Awesome donuts. The donut holes are like clouds. Never overly busy. Very friendly. And decent prices.

Their boba tea is awesome. I didn’t know they had boba tea until I saw a poster outside. I got super excited and immediately when inside and bought one. Super delicious.

Hate to admit that we come here at least once a week! So bad, but OHSOGOOD! Kids love the maple bars and their glaze donuts just melt in your mouth. Hubby has the sweet tooth in our family and so he will demolish half a dozen of these particular donuts in less than 15 mintues. They are that good. It’s a family owned«mom and pop» local business and I am all for supporting local business especially their portion sizes for donuts are so big and so yummy!

I live in Modesto and drive to Riverbank for donuts. They fill the jelly donuts when you order them. They are not overpriced and delicious.

«Mom & pop» shop, family business and they are super friendly. I don’t think you will find a more perfect donut any.where.else!!! I don’t know what they do to them, but the lady said her husband makes them fresh everyday with quality ingredients. It definitely shows! I’ve never had a greasy or oily donut from here(gross!). They’re always soft and taste fresh. I’m not a huge donut fan, and can take it or leave it, but anytime I am near Riverbank, this place is a «must.» Even my boyfriend has wanted to make the 1.5 hr. drive just for their donuts. You won’t be disappointed.

Get a bear claw or an apple fritter — yum. My better half starts salivating whenever we drive within a couple miles of this place… it’s a guilty pleasure. Go in the morning, when everything is freshly baked.
