Established in 1961.

Barnett’s was started as a Family business in 1961 by Harold Barnett. Harold specialized in Plumbing, Heating and Air systems in new homes until the recession of the 80’s when his Son Bob decided to take over the Company and take it in a new direction. The Company soon began to evolve into a Service oriented Business taking care of emergency repair issues for Customer. As the Company expanded into service and repair, many Technicians were trained in-​house to properly provide excellent Customer service and winning the Better Business Bureau Torch Award for outstanding Customer Service. The Company’s main focus is helping Customers improve the comfort in their home and reduce utility cost. Bob’s Son Travis takes the lead in the installation department to make sure each project meets the Families commitment to quality. Barnett’s goal is to provide «Service Beyond Expectations» to every Customer with a 100% money back guarantee on every service and installation.

Business Owner

Bob was the first baby born at Doctors Hospital of Modesto in 1961. He grew up working on homes starting working in the field during school vacations at the age of 12 with his Father Harold and Brother David. Bob learned the trades quickly and became a Journeyman by the age of 20 after finishing High School a year early. Bob has been through extensive training on Home Energy Efficiency and Performance enabling him to become one of the most knowledgeable experts in the area. His Customers and Team are his top priority, educating and personally servicing them. He frequently puts on the tools and works right along side the Team in attics and crawlspaces ensuring the work meets his standards. It’s not uncommon to see him on a Sunday in a suit taking care of a Customer with a Heating or Cooling problem ensuring their Family’s safety and comfort. In short, he treats every Customer and their Home as if it was his own.
