Amazing food. Order #40! The parking can be a little difficult, but you can park in the lot across the street. The stir fry portions can feel a little small, so I stick to the soups. They have great homemade hot sauce, they also have a vegetarian hot sauce that doesn’t contain fish sauce. The spring rolls and egg rolls are great. God bless TC.

The Phở broth is amazing, the rare beef is fresh and so tender. Spring rolls are long, skinny, crispy and delicious. They have their own version of Siracha which is really good and spicier than Siracha

Phở is amazing. Their broth is just right. Better tasting than other phở places in the area. Spring rolls are pretty good. We will be back to try other menu items. Everyone we have met here so far is very nice. Try the lemonade!

If I could, I would give TC’s 3 ½ stars. So I’m gonna be generous & give them 4. It’s a cute little restaurant. A small house turned into a restaurant. You’ve probably driven by it a hundred times & haven’t even noticed it. It’s clean & usually not crowded. Service is good & friendly. Phở soup is very good & good size portion. 1 bowl can satisfy 2 people. We usually get both springs & summer rolls. My favorite dish is the pork chop with a fried egg, rice, & cucumbers. We usually try the different chicken or shrimp dishes. All the food seems very fresh & cooked to order. Not spicy at all, unless you add their homemade spicy sauces. I wish the servings were a little larger. Parking can be a P.I.A. Small parking lot, can be hard to back out of.

A straight hole in a wall joint that has a better broth than Mekong, but worse noodles compared to Mekong.

What an absolutely delicious little hole in the wall kind of place. Except it’s in a house. Just the whole house. I parked in the back and assumed I could walk in from behind, nope, kitchen! We had: yummy crispy vegetable spring rolls, a seriously slurptastic(yeah, I said it!) seafood phở, and a slightly less spectacular vegetarian phở. I would definitely come back to explore some of the curry dishes and to eat that seafood phở again. The broth in the seafood soup is just magical. I wish I could say the same for the vegetarian phở but I should have known it would be way mild and lacking that certain oomph. I even poured a ton of TC’s Homemade Chili sauce(atomically hot!) and the veggie phở just never made my taste buds dance like the seafood broth. Can’t wait to go back soon!

We came here for lunch on a Sunday, it was surprisingly pretty busy. We ordered spring rolls to share and each had a bowl of Phở. We loved the Spring rolls. Definitely would recommend ordering them– we had the fried ones. The phở was pretty good, we preferred the chicken one to the beef meatball phở.

Nothing hits the spot on a cold winter’s day like a hot bowl a noodle soup and TC’s Little Taste of Saigon doesn’t disappoint. The 2 of us walked into the humble homey restaurant and was greeted to delicious smells. While the spring rolls were not particularly to my taste with bean sprouts and cucumbers, the peanuts sauce was tasty. Add 1 – 2 small drops of the homemade chili sauce to each bite to pack a hearty punch. Spring rolls were followed by a small bowl of phở each and the broth was heavenly! yes, i would’ve been happier with some thai basil, but the broth with homemade chili sauce packed in plenty of flavor for a rich delicious taste. Well worth the stop off. Notes: small family run restaurant from inside a small home, so don’t expect a super quick turn around. Also, small parking lot and easily representative of the amount of people inside.

The real deal here /so much so you might even have a language barrier at times. Seems to be more so a take out place with its small environment, but make no mistake this place packs a big punch. Good food at very reasonable price. Could be a go-to location when we want take out No local delivery though. Very pleasantly surprised

Great little Vietnamese spot to go for Phở & iced Viet coffee. The big bowl was a normal sized bowl but their homemade hot sauce made up for lack of jalapeño & basil trimmings to put in the bowl. Broth was nice and served with flat rice noodle which I’m noticing more spots preparing it this way. Iced coffee was strong & creamy. Considering this is 1 of 2 options in Ridgewood, I would definitely recommend it.

OMG I Love this place!!! Only the second time here but today was better then the last!!! Can not even begin to explain how wonderful it is to find such an amazing restaurant this close to home. I recently moved here from the west coast, where Asian food is as common as Italian food is here, these guys do GREAT home made Vietnamese food!!! Already anticipating my next visit!!! A must try!!! And being a BYOB keeps it simple simply amazing!!! Great veggie menu!!! Oh and don’t forget to try TC’s homemade HOT chili sauce… so HOT but perfectly balanced… The price is amazing!!! I wish I could come everyday!!! Did I say I LOVE this place!!!

The broth is what makes or breaks a bowl of Phở. I was quite content! We ordered it for a pickup but from what I saw inside the little restaurant, it’s just like being a guest in someone’s home. I typically add a lot of chili pepper to my bowl. The small container provided I thought was tiny… but it packed a punch! I thought it was Sambal Olek but it’s actually homemade. Awesome. Glad to have this quality of Phở in this part of NJ.

Well now we can check off«Vietnamese» on our list for the Ridgewood area. It’s literally in a house on an otherwise residential street. Very tacky but appropriate Asian décor. They have most of the Vietnamese standards that we usually get elsewhere and they hold up well. Pancake was much better than others– very flavorful. Spring rolls were tightly wrapped. Homemade hot sauce is fabulous and HOT. I usually get a veggie phở but went for chicken and it didn’t disappoint. Perfect cold weather, cure a cold soup but could’ve used some veggies added in(although maybe that’s my taste). Hubby and MIL had variations of spicy beef phở and a noodle dish that looked yummy. Only downside is the tiny parking lot at the end of a narrow driveway in the back. Hubby will be parking the car for sure.

Excellent phở and hot sauce. Ribs were killer and the spring rolls were delicious. The service was friendly and quick. It’s a hole in the wall… and I like it that way.

My usual Vietnamese stops are Ridgewood or all the way in New York so I was thrilled to find out I had a spot one town over at TC’s Little Taste of Saigon. Eating here feels like you are hanging out at your Vietnamese friend’s house and their grandma is serving you food. I love how authentic it feels and tastes. I’ve been here a few times and I stick to the spring rolls and phở. Both are fantastic. I also love their house made hot sauce. Be careful how much you add to the phở! Also give the lemonade a try — very refreshing.

Really nice find. Though this place is fairly small, they make some of the best Vietnamese food in all of NY/NJ. The chef is a real pro. However, parking is limited and so is the dining space. In fact it’s so tiny that I would not park a large car in the rear lot, it’s very difficult to get out. Better to park nearby and walk here. I’ve dined here only once but do take out frequently. A really authentic phở noodle soup offered in various permutations, but usually opt for another noodle soup called Bun Bo Hue, which is a spicy red noodle soup, filled with all kinds of beef, thin sliced, tendon, brisket, and a more spongy noodle all topped with a toasted garlic chili oil. One of the best things I’ve ever eaten. Other notable dishes are the Curry Chicken with Toasted Banh Mi(French/Vietnamese bread), the pork or vegetable Fried Spring Rolls with the homemade hot sauce which they should really consider bottling and selling retail, Beef Stew with Banh Mi, and Grilled Pork Chops with rice and vegetables.

I’ve never eaten inside a Vietnamese person’s home, but I imagine this is basically the same thing. The décor is oddly comforting, seat yourself, there are plenty of tables for 2 or 4 people. The server is really sweet and helpful with any questions. I love the Phở, the broth is very strong, alot of bite to it, I actually prefer the egg noodles you get with some of the other dishes, but the rice noodles are still good. The spring rolls are delicious, perfectly fried. There is parking, but it’s a little tight. They grow their own thai basil, which is awesome!

I really appreciate this place. I’m actually a hard critic when it comes to Vietnamese food, but this place was good, especially when I miss food from home. The Restaurant itself is teeny tiny, about the size of my house(I live in a duplex). We got seated in, what I’d like to call, the living room. The walls were covered in artifacts and pictures, a bit overwhelming to be honest. However, it could be the looks of this restaurant that made the food pretty decent. It was almost as if a friend invited me over for a home-cooked meal, except I had to pay of course. Beware! Their«sriracha» was not actually sriracha! It was their homemade hot sauce which, by the way, is amaze balls(pardon my language). It was super spicy, but it was so good! I would go back just for that hot sauce, haha. Now for the negative: I absolutely HATE their«parking lot». it’s big enough to fit 4 cars, not including the owner’s vehicles. It took us about 20 minutes to try to get out of there. My boyfriend and the car next to us both tried to get out of the place, but it was almost impossible. One of the servers or cooks had to come outside and direct us out. Constant backing in and backing out. If you live close-by, I recommend just walking or biking or finding elsewhere to park because parking is just atrocious.

You’re basically eating in someone’s living room. Service can be a little slow but hey, it’s a small family run place. Phở is basic and solid with good, fresh herb taste. The homemade hot sauce is fantastic and no joke. Be warned that if you don’t like mouth noises, this might not be a good place for you. Lots of obnoxious slurping. Save yourself some aggravation and instead of parking in the back lot, park somewhere else. Anywhere else. Looking forward to going back and trying something else.
