My favorite bakery in the area. Their whole wheat bread is amazing, and it’s the only one of that kind I’ll eat. Polish chocolate chip cookies are amazing! My boyfriend recommends the cheesecakes shaped as parallelograms. Don’t know the name of them. Everything is cheap here.

This is where all the Polish people in the neighborhood buy their baked goods. The pączki is what you want!

This is my favorite bakery in all of New York City. It is small and perfect. The bread has about 4 ingredients and is the freshest, cheapest, tastiest bread ever. But let me tell you the greatest thing they have to offer: their fruit custard tart. Medium-sized, with a lovely crust just brimming with creamy, angelic custard and topped with berries, grapes, and mandarin oranges, this treat could easily go for $ 8 at a Manhattan bakery. ITIS $ 2. Maybe $ 2.50 but WHOCARESIT’S CHEAPANDIT’S HEAVEN. I could eat one every morning. For a less sugary breakfast, if you get a small coffee and a multi-grain seeded roll it’s $ 1.80 for a quick breakfast before you hop on the train. In the sweets department, however, they have doughnuts, turnovers, danishes, and many more pastries that all look and taste awesome. They have tons of little cookies, which are a perfect gift to bring to a party or social gathering. Also, their cakes all look absolutely beautiful. They only have two little tables, but you can stroll around the little triangle area at the Forest stop, or go sit in the park 2 blacks away while you eat your delicious bakes goods. Go here and buy every baked good you’ve ever dreamed of, and somehow only pay $ 10. Their coffee is damn good too. Bring your mom or aunt or BFF or boyfriend or whoever so that you can have an excuse to buy even more treats and share them.

Went looking for Paczki and found Burek! Had the meat one, just as good as in Europe if not better. Can’t wait to try the cheese one.

Got a huge freshly baked bread load, thinly sliced inside the store for $ 3.50.

Stunning. Be sure to get the poppy seed loaf. It has a nice hint of almond and was devoured quickly in my office. Melts in your mouth!
