West Broad Audi

I had an emergency and needed to get a spare key made for my Audi. The parts department was closed on a Saturday before memorial day? I called the Audi dealership in Alexandria and Charlottesville both were open that day. The only reason that the Alexandria dealership gave me that they would close their parts department is to save money and be cheap and not take care of the customer.
The customer service experience in Alexandria was far superior then my past experiences at the Richmond Audi. I recommend using a dealer different dealership if you want customer Focus service.
Service sells cars and this dealership doesn’t understand this Basic concept.

Service department could care less less about safety let alone customer service. After a stuck accelerator (1^st trip), then loss of acceleration on the highway (2^nd trip) THEN rattling a/​c within a 2 month timeframe their attitude, disinterest and inability to convey the atmosphere of a luxury dealer is extraordinary. One would think since the same rep attempts to assist there would be some air of care– not in the least. In fact he actually acted bothered I was going to spend money again for them to foul something else up. Called Mike Reynolds and no response. If you want terrible service, shoddy work and sarcasm, this is your place.

My husband and I wanted to give Audi a chance as we are BMW and Acura owners. We were interested in buying a Q7 but after our experince in that location we are sure we will not buy from there.
First we walked in and a guy rushing out the door said someone will be with us shortly. After 10 min of looking around the same guy appeared with a rookie sales representative. This poor guy was lost, after expending some time trying to get the keys for a test drive he walked us out to see if someone in the back have it. After walking to the back of the delearship at 25 degree the keys were not there neither! He told us to wait and after 10 min in the cold we decided to go back inside.
We found the guy still trying to find the keys but we just wanted to leave. My husband wanted to take a Q7 brochure and guess what! There were none available!
We just decided to leave, and they not even asked for our contact information!!!
So far, BMW and Mercedes in Broad St have way better service than Audi. I hope they improve it.

I’m leaving this review after poor experience with the sales department in my previous review.
Now it was time for the 5000 mile service on my Audi S6 and I brought it to West Broad Audi.
Excellent experience too to bottom. From the professionalism to making you feel like a valued customer. Loaner Audi was also very nice.
They saw an issue with my Audi I had not noticed in that a pot hole had bent my rim. Worked with my rim insurance company to take care of me.
Thank you west broad Audi for such good service. I’m only giving 4 stars to the dealership because of the sales experience at the dealership. But service aspect definitely a full 5 star. The Service has definitely improved my rating of the dealership if you look back to my previous review.

Purchased vehicle and day later noticed a minor door ding. Returned to audi thinking they would gladly have there mobile door ding guy take care of it… it cost car dealers almost nothing. They were defensive and dismissive. The final answer I got was «were not going to be able to help you. It’s not so much the response, but how it was delivered. Between my wife and I, we typically purchase a vehicle every 2 – 3 years. We will never again shop at this dealership group.

I was in town for work and thought I would get a second quote from west broad Audi. They had no interest in me buying a car from them. Basically told me they didn’t have anything available. While I love Audi, I can see why Richmond has more BMW’s. Corporate Audi should be very concerned of their image due to this dealership. If you are in the market for an Audi, come to the DC area, the Audi dealers are MUCH better. I do love my Audi and would not let this dealership change my mind on the brand since I am an established customer– if you have a bad experience here, give another Audi dealer a chance.

The 1 star is for the sales department. I actually have always had an excellent experience with the service department, which is partly why I was so surprised to have such a terrible experience with the sales department. My Audi A4 wagon was approaching 90K miles in January of this year, and I brought it in for service. A Q5 was parked right out front and caught my eye. I inquired about the Q5, test drove it, and had my A4 wagon appraised. I have been a loyal customer with the service department for 4 years and an Audi owner for almost 10 years. The sales person returned with an offer on a Q5 that basically gave me the typical $ 500 loyalty discount, and offered me $ 4500 for my A4. It struck me as a rip off at the time, and I walked away. Fast forward to now… I visited Tyson’s Corner Audi. This is now 9 months since my A4 was appraised. It needs a new turbo and several other smaller replacements. Even with these issues Audi of Tyson’s offered me $ 4000 on my car, $ 500 loyalty credit, and dealer incentives (additional discounts) on either a Q3 or a Q5. They negotiated fairly with me, and I was not insulted, nor did I feel ripped off at the end of the process. They were extremely transparent in their interactions with me. I was very disappointed with West Broad Audi’s sales department after 4 years of service appointments with them. Until now I had no relationship with Tyson’s Corner Audi, and they treated me with more respect than West Broad. While I actually like the service department at West Broad, I will continue to visit Tyson’s Corner Audi rather than give any more of business to a dealer who does not appreciate loyalty.

2.5 oil change fair warning been here multiple times every time it’s been over 2 hours. Not happy lived in Miami, and Dallas and it never took longer then an hour! You’ve been warned! Sadly it is the only Audi dealership in this city, I will make the drive elsewhere. I made and appt, no line confused why it would take this long. Them they tried to get me to pay $ 300 for a gas top after they said $ 200. These boys are ripping people off. SLOW. LAZY. DISHONEST service. Very disappointed beware they will try to rip you off they tried to rip me off and apparently other reviewers.

I took my car to a reputable Audi dealership to get a second opinion on my car. Upon inspection, the technicion told me there were parts missing from my engine. The West Broad Audi Service department tore my engine apart and didnt even place it back together again it was missing 7 major components to the engine! Nice of them to let me know that they took out these parts and not put them back.
As far as I am conserned, West Broad Audi is a chop shop

There is nothing to say that is negative. Visited the dealership for the first time last week looking for a Q5. My husband and I were not on the lot a good five minutes and Ashley Blunt came out to greet us. He was professional from the very beginning. Answered ever question we had. After the test drive, told him I would come back in a week. During this past week other Audi dealerships pestered me with emails and phone calls. Ashley, did not ad waited to here from me. While others may think the sale did not matter to him, it was just the opposite. He followed up with one email and offered to answer any additional questions I may have had. On Thursday I reached out and told Ashley I would be going to a preferred dealership from my bank. My bank only listed dealerships close to D.C. Mr. Wood the sales manger replied to my email and said they would match any price. On Friday my husband and I decided to give West Broad a shot. On Saturday, we went down and 2.5 hours later drove away in a new Audi. They gave me a great price on my trade and Audi financial beat my banks interest rate by a whole percentage. Everyone from sales to finance was great. Glad we decided on West Broad Audi.

This is not directed at the sales department as I purchased my Audi in Atlanta and it was a good experience. I’d also had good service appointments at Audi in Atlanta. Once I moved to Richmond however, I wasn’t impressed with the personnel I encountered at the service department. Especially once my warranty expired, every time I took my car in I got the typical laundry list call of all the things wrong with it that was going to cost a fortune to fix, and it wasn’t with an attitude of customer service, it was often with a hint of irritation and disinterest. On a trip home to see my family in Atlanta, I decided to take my car in to be serviced there and they were pleasant as usual and didn’t try to sell me on a bunch of things however, they scratched and dented the side of my car. Once this happened they immediately called me and made the effort to fix it. I found an imports place to take my car to for service back in Richmond and they have been great except they can’t flush or replace my coolant because Audi has their own special coolant you have to use or your system gets screwed up, so I was forced to return to the Audi dealership here in richmond. A couple hours after I dropped it off, they called with 3 things that were in need of attention and I realized I was no longer going to be able to get my car back before heading to a prior engagement. I discussed this with the rep and he stated I could pay over the phone and pick my car up later. They were closed on Sunday so I wasn’t able to pay and pick up the car the next day. I left town later that day and called Monday and paid over the phone for the work. My fiancée then went and picked up my car that afternoon and noted when the guy pulled it up, it had no license plates. When my fiancée pointed it out, the guy had the nerve to suggest we brought it in without plates. Yes, that is me, the Audi driving doctor who likes to take a chance and drive around without license plates!?! They shrugged their shoulders and said there was nothing they could do. They didn’t even apologize until I called to give the service manager an earful. During that conversation. He told me they have no security measures in place to protect people’s personal vehicles… No cameras, no secured areas, no guards… It would be too expensive to do any one of these things. This is a high end dealership! People pay the inflated dealership prices with the expectation that their car will be safe on their lot. He didn’t even seem upset that this happened on his property, just upset that I might possibly expect that i could entrust a high end dealership to either take measures to protect it or to notify me that they do nothing to protect cars on their lot. The fact that none of their employees noticed the plates were stolen and then just had this attitude of ‘sucks to be you’… That was the final straw. Just remember if you buy an Audi, you have to service an Audi… I’d go elsewhere.

Almost 9 years ago as a 17-​year-​old I came to West Broad Audi/​VW with my mom to get my first car. I remember my mom commenting on how awesome everyone was and I know first hand how excited and pleased I was with my car. Now 8 years later I’ve come back to West Broad Audi to make my first «adult» car purchase and for the second time I’ve had a stellar experience!
I truly cannot speak enough to the patience and professionalism of everyone we worked with here in the last week while buying my car. I worked with Scot but also spent one evening with James and test drove a few other models on the VW side of the lot. Both Scot and James were so awesome to deal with. They were fun yet still professional and knowledgeable and made me feel confident buying from them. I should also mention the Audi sales manager, Brent, was also super helpful and spent quite a bit of time working with me as well to help me narrow my decision down.
I left WB Audi with a car I love and great feeling about the service I received over the few days I spent testing driving and finally deciding on a car. I should also mention my mom bought her Audi from here a month ago from Scot (we’re a German engineering loving family, what can I say!) and she can attest to how awesome and smooth the whole process went.
Pretty confident they now have two customers for life at this rate because the service we received here rivals any service we received elsewhere in the early stages of our car search. Highly recommend!

Visited from DC this weekend arriving an hour before closing. While DC area dealers are fine this place was a treat.
They couldn’t yank enough cars out for us to drive (that goes for the VW place next door). No hassle on test drives. and no dealer rep was required to be in the car. Hello DC area dealers. there’s an idea, huh?
Didn’t close a deal so can’t comment on negotiating experience but from facility to deal representatives this Audi dealer was a top notch experience. Despite the miles, we hope to reward these folks with a purchase (not falling again for the angle if you purchase a car from us we’ll take extra good care of you when you need service. a myth completely debunked by a certain Rockville area german car dealer).
Worth the trip. especially if you want to enjoy your test driveS.
