Went with the bride and 3 other bridesmaids and had an excellent experience! We worked with Ashley (ask for her) who was fabulous and we managed to find dresses within one designer so we each have our own dress design with the same color. Overall relaxing and personal experience and would highly recommend!

All I have to say about Tiffany’s is «YASSSSS GIRL, YASSSS!»
I bought my wedding dress from here as well as three of my four bridesmaid dresses. Starting with my initial appointment back in January up til the week before my wedding, I had an amazing experience. My consultant Ellen has been a huge help from day one and was the sweetest, most caring that I could ever hope for. I’m a plus-​sized bride and can be very insecure about my weight. After bad experiences with other bridal shops and that awful David’s Bridal, I had all but given up hope that I’d find a wedding dress my size. Ellen and the other ladies made me feel comfortable and confident and worked diligently to find the perfect dress for me and by gosh, they did! Also, because I was uncomfortable with the idea of a strapless dress, they had their seamstress craft a jacket from material matching the dress to go over it! It looked absolutely beautiful in my wedding pictures.
Some of the previous bad reviews on here had me scared but now I see that maybe some people have extremely high expectations going in. Throughout wedding planning, I learned a lot about the industry, such as how wedding and bridesmaid dresses are sized according to European sizing and how if you «buy» a dress, it’s not going to come to you immediately the next week. It could take months for you to receive your dream dress, so plan accordingly.
Yes, there are a couple of hiccups within the shop, such as an obvious issue with profiling customers but there only seems to be one older employee that’s guilty of this. Misinformation can be an issue as well, but that’s to be expected in an environment where you have so many customers and employees.
Again, I had a good experience with Tiffany’s. I suggest you give yourself enough time to order your dress and do alterations (at least 6+ months) so you aren’t stressing over it arriving in time. Adjust your expectations before going in because this isn’t like shopping at Kohl’s or any other department store.

I’m so glad this wasn’t my first bridal dress shopping experience or I would have given up.
I had a 4 o’clock appointment, I got there about 10 minutes early to look around. When I walked in I was completely ignored. I had to flag down 3 different people and tell them in here for my appointment-​still ignored. I was about ready to leave when someone finally listened to us and realized we were here for an appointment.
My consultant was Wendy. She was very rushed and asked my 5 questions in a row trying to find out what I waned. She didn’t ask who the three women with me were either, she didn’t care. I described a dress I was looking for and said I’m open to other options-​wedding dress shopping is supposed to be fun right? As soon as I told her my budget her attitude changed, probably because she saw her commission check decreasing. I think $ 1,000-$ 1,500 is a lot of money for a dress but she made me feel cheap. I told her my budget and she took me to the basement sale section which I don’t think customers should even go down there.
I found 2 dresses to try on so we went to the dressing rooms. As I was changing she was in and out of the dressing room and every time the door opened people could see me in my underwear!
I tried on the two and decided I didn’t like them and then she just left me in the dressing room. I didn’t know if she was getting more options or what was happening. I waited a few minutes then decided I should get dressed. When I came out the room I saw she was at the desk doing something completely different so she was obviously done with me. We left and no one even noticed, no thank you or goodbye.
This store made me feel cheap, discouraged, and worthless. That is not how a bride is supposed to feel!
Shopping for a wedding dress is supposed to be fun and exciting, if you want to feel special do not go to Tiffanys bridal. They are the ones who are worthless

I loved Tiffanys! All of the bridal consultants are very friendly and make you feel very special. I went there a few times while looking for my wedding dress and even had the owner as my consultant and she was lovely. She was very knowledgeable and had a knack for knowing exactly what you are looking for. No one was ever pushy about buying a dress and they didn’t feel like a bunch of salesman, only that they truly want you to find your dream dress.
The shop itself is very cute and exactly what you imagine going into a bridal shop, they even have a little runway you can walk down to see yourself walking down the aisle.
They have a wide variety of dresses, designers and styles and they have great prices. I 100% recommend Tiffany’s and have been telling all of my engaged friends to go there!

Tiffany’s was the first bridal salon I decided to schedule an appointment at. I was bringing 5 people with me and wanted to make sure we had plenty of space for everyone which we definitely did. I got to work with Sharon who is the owner of the shop and she was FANTASTIC! She let me and my girls browse around first and pull dresses we thought matched what I wanted, then we narrowed them down a little from there. She truly listened to what I had liked so far, what I didn’t like, what material I was looking for, etc. She helped me try on each dress, making sure it was pinned correctly each time to get the full effect of how it would look on me even if it wasn’t the right size on the sample. I’ve found this is hugely important because sometimes you may decide against a dress because of the sample not looking right on you, when it would actually look perfect in your true size.
When I found my dress, I initially tried it on in a size too small and although I LOVED it, I was concerned it be would too restrictive since it felt so tight. Sharon assured me it was just due to the smaller size and found me another sample (same dress, just a different color) that was a few sizes too large, and pinned it on me to show me. Had she not done that, I might have skipped out on my dream dress. It was PERFECT for me and I’m so happy with my choice.
Sharon walked me through every decision from the veil to the belt that I loved, and explained every next step I should expect moving forward. She event went over the alteration costs I could expect. I am so glad I had the chance to work with her and it was such a great experience. Plus, Tiffany’s had SO MANY beautiful designers to choose from in quite a large range of prices. I’m so happy I shopped there and can’t wait to come back in for my first fitting when my dress comes in! THANK YOU SHARON!

The salon made multiple major mistakes. I felt I was lied to close a sale.
First let me say I am a big busted bride who is not plus size, full disclosure a 34GG.
I was originally drawn to Tiffany’s because they were hosting a Justin Alexander trunk show. We made an appointment and traveled 2 hours. The sales lady was not very friendly. I tried on dress after dress and found one I did not hate, but I was busting out. Since Justin Alexander was in the store, we found out he could make the dress with GG cups in it. I was sold! We purchased the dress.
A few weeks later, we heard from the salon, that Justin Alexander could not make the dress with GG cups, but that they were ordering extra fabric and that they could redo the top of the dress.
We went in for a fitting and I was busting out the dress, I’ve seen prostitutes that were more covered. Someone in the store recommended I try the dress on with a strapless bra and that they had some in the store. I asked if they had my size (suprised) and they said yes. The sales women comes back with a D size bra. I was shocked and disappointed. Trying to appease, I tried the dress on and the sales women asked if it felt better. At this point I was in tears (I was also hungry). The sales women got the manager and they called the seamstress to come in. I was thankful to the seamstress to make a special trip in (which begs they question, why would I have a fitting without a seamstress). The seamstress was amazing and we decided we could rebuild the top to have an illusion top.
Overall, the dress didn’t have a wow factor and I was unhappy with four inches or more of cleavage even hidden under an illusion top. I bought a dress at a different salon.

You need to avoid this place like the plague. I and several girls were bridesmaids for a wedding. The 1^st appointment was disorganized & chaotic, as we were shown to where the available dresses were & made to sift through them ourselves. The available dresses were all in very small sizes, so only a couple of girls were able to try them on. It was clear that the employees were completely incompetent when it came to sizing. I had THREE people, including the owner, measure me. They all came up with different numbers. In the end, I was told they HAD to order a ridiculously huge size since there is a 20in difference in my waist & hip. I was told that even though it was a «flowy dress» (chiffon) the liner wasn’t & therefore it needed to be a really big size in order to fit my hips properly– & I would just need to take in the waist. So, they say I NEEDED this big size-​and oh, that’s going to be a $ 50 charge. Then, I’m told that due to my height (5’10) they need to add a height fee so that more fabric can be added. Oh– and that’s another $ 50. I absolutely refused that and said I would deal with the dress. We then had to put half down before the dresses could be ordered– and– no refunds by the way.
Flash forward a couple weeks & the dresses arrive.
After 1 bridesmaid picked up her dress and discovered that her sizing was WAY off, I decided that I would pick mine up & try it on before paying the final balance. When I made it there & tried it on, I zipped it up and let go– and the entire dress proceeded to fall off me and hang loosely on my lower hips. I thought I must have surely not zipped it all the way-​checked– and nope– it was zipped! I got dressed and went to the young girl at the desk and told her I had an issue with the dress and that the sizing was completely inaccurate. I was asked to try it on again so she could see. I did so, and came out holding the dress up. The young girl immediately said «oh wow, that is way too big! Let me get the owner».
Here’s where it gets good. The owner came out, and as she started clipping my dress tightly on me, she immediately becomes defensive and explains that b/​c of my measurements; they had to order this big and blah blah. I told her that while I understood the difference in measurements, it was clear that they ordered way bigger than what was needed and that on top of it, I was charged an additional $ 50 for this and given the grossly inaccurate sizing, my alterations would now be much more than anticipated. She kept insisting it was «technically» the right size for my hips– so I lifted the dress, grabbed the material at my hips and showed that even with the dress tightly clipped on, there was plenty of room in the hip area. She then came up with another excuse– by blaming the designer (B. Levkoff). She claimed he had a new «fabric cutter» & that the fabric is being «cut larger than usual» and so that is why the dress size is so inaccurate. OK– so, you went from trying to tell me the dress was the correct size to suddenly coming up with some ridiculous excuse and blaming the designer? I was clearly pissed– because I was charged more for the dress and that the alterations would now be much more expensive. She then made me an offer– saying that if I would let them do the alterations, she would only charge me half. HAHA! Yea right, so that you can tell me the alterations were $ 200 so you need $ 100 from me? I think not. I demanded a price and eventually she said they would do all of the alterations for $ 20. I said ok– and made her receipt it up and I paid– so that there would be none of that «oh we don’t show that she told you it would be $ 20» when I came to pick it up.
When the seamstress came to measure for alterations, she shook her head and said «way too big». Two weeks later when I picked up my dress, the seamstress mentioned having to cut off «5 sizes» worth of material. Ha! Go figure! Unfortunately, this wasn’t the case for just me– as SEVERAL of the other bridesmaids had the same issue– the dresses were grossly inaccurate in sizing and their alterations ended up being nearly the same price as the dress. (Specifically, the maid of honor, who is a very, very slim girl– her dress was entirely too big as well, and she mentioned that when they took measurements, the tape was so tight on her she was afraid the dress would be too small).
I’ll save you having to read about my husband’s experience a week later when he was picking up the dress for me (because I had to wait a whole week for them to steam the dress). Long story short– he dealt with incompetent employees & a very rude owner (who was complaining about a customer’s mother calling several times trying to get the status of her son’s tux-​completely unprofessional).
This place is one big giant ball of shit. The owner is running a scam. They purposely order incorrect sizes & then cash in on alterations. They trap you by the required down payments & their no refund policy. Save yourself and go somewhere else!

We made an appointment well in advance for a bridal dress. The sales girl we had was absolutely rude. She even told the bride to be to hurry up and put it on because they were busy. She felt extremely uncomfortable and it made the whole experience unpleasant. I would not recommend this establishment to anyone I know.

I have always had high standards, however never willing to pay the price! I have the pnina tornai taste, but not the $$ for pay for a $ 10,000 dress! I wasn’t willing to sacrifice my wedding dress!
I came to Tiffany’s wanting a pnina tornai look, but only wanting to pay no more than $ 1,000!
I realized that what I wanted, didn’t exist! I found an amazing dress on sale for $ 450 but still was missing the «bling» I wanted. It was amazing quality and fit me perfect, but didn’t bling enough. They recommended that I have the pieces attached separate to create a more unique look! Long story short, I got an amazing UNIQUE dress, for an unbeatable price, GREAT quality, AMAZING service, and I am one happy bride!!!

I’ve been to Tiffany’s on a few different occasions. When I was looking for a wedding dress I made an appointment and the staff was nothing short of amazing. I didn’t end up purchasing my dress from Tiffany’s but I did buy my slip from the store.
This past weekend I went with my best friend and she ended up saying «yes» to the dress here! It was awesomely exciting and the staff was phenomenal! Tiffany’s definitely meets the mark.

I had a wonderful experience at this shop a few weeks ago. I called a few weeks before I needed the appointment because they were having a Justin Alexander trunk show on a particular weekend. I was able to get a 10 AM Saturday appointment. It was just me and my mom this trip. I had never tried on dresses before so I wasn’t sure if seeing something on a model on-​line was going to translate. I was also worried about what sample sizes would be available. We were greeted immediately upon walking in and our consultant Sharon was so pleasant to work with. I told her why I was there and what kind of style of dresses I liked so we could get started. I immediately found the dress I came in the store for (I asked if they had the style while on the phone). We also walked around the store and as she showed me other similar types I would either say «yeah, I’ll try» or «no thank you.» I didn’t feel like anything was pushed on me, pressured or overwhelmed. I think I tried about a total of 6 dresses. I was impressed by the sample sizes, I didn’t think I would be able to try on a lot of dresses being as I’m not a size 4÷6÷8. Sharon was helpful in trying on dresses and easy to talk to. About mid-​way through the appointment Sharon had to help a customer (what looked like a dad who had a day of wedding emergency perhaps with a veil and might get upset) and another consultant stepped in to continue with my appointment. My mom even came to help me get out of a dress. I liked the formal and informal feel of my appointment, lending itself to other familiar shopping trips. Even though you’re the bride, I guess if you keep an open mind and don’t go in like spoiled brat you’re appointment is what you make of it. Mine was fantastic, I ordered my dress (the one I came to get) and left stress-​free! Although I have dress shops closer to my home, I’m glad I went to Tiffany’s. My wedding is quite some time in the future, so when my dress arrives Tiffany’s offers to store it until I need. I also don’t feel pressure to necessary get alterations there which is nice because it might not be super convenient, but we’ll see.

After going to several bridal shops, I found my dream dress at Tiffany’s bridal. They have a great selection in a variety of price ranges, which allowed a bride who had no idea what I was looking for (like myself) to try on many different styles. The consultant was very helpful and even assisted me in getting into the dresses. They even have a deal where it’s $ 100 off any dress that is over $ 1000.
When it came time to get my dress altered, the seamstress seemed very knowledgable about what needed to be done to make it fit me like a glove. The dress turned out absolutely amazing!

WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE
After having a horrible experience at David’s Bridal, I went over to Tiffany’s Bridal and finding a lovely dress on sale. My consultant, Ashley Roberts, was awesome. She was super nice, listened to what I wanted, and wasn’t pushy at all. I was more than happy she got the commission in the end.
Tiffany’s let us put half down on a $ 1385 dress (on sale for $ 100 off), and then they ordered it. Tiffany’s was SO much better than David’s Bridal — it was calmer, MUCH better customer service, and the dresses were lovely. I’m seriously considering NOT choosing bridesmaid dresses from David’s simply so I don’t have to go into that place again!!!
The only reason I gave Tiffany’s 4 stars instead of 5 was because their policy is that I had to stop trying on dresses once my appointment time was finished. Since I drove down from the DC area to try on dresses there, I would have liked more time. Other than that, a wonderful experience!

Tiffanys Bridal gets one star only because I couldn’t give lower.
We arrived about 10 minutes before our appointment time. We were actually the first appointment at opening. So we waited patiently outside the shop. At 9:59 they were still ignoring us. They had a customer inside the shop already so I’m not sure what that was about. When they finally opened at 10:05 we were greeted with a forced hello and smile.
After being given a consultant we discussed what we were looking for, price range and showed some photos that we had printed out. We were told to just look through the racks and pull what we wanted to try on. Really?! I would have expected the consultant to pull items based on her knowledge of the inventory to match what we were looking for. We had no idea what we were looking at on the hangers.
Then the bride had to share one podium and mirrors with another bride and her consultant. Extremely awkward for the bride and it cut in to her appointment time. After 3 or 4 dresses our consultant seemed to give up trying. She wasn’t listening to what we were asking for and the dresses went from bad to worse. Nearing the end of our appointment time and with the bride almost in tears we simply left.
I will add a note that our second store of the day was a WONDERFUL experience. The consultant was extremely helpful and knowledgeable of her inventory. We found a dress after trying on only 3!!!

I wasn’t happy with my bridal appointment here. It was my first time dress shopping and I had ideas of what I was looking for printed out for the consultant. She never listened to me or showed me what I was looking for. She showed me the exact opposite. It bothered me that she left me to sift through the rack of bridal gowns by myself trying to find gowns that I wanted to try on. I had no idea what I was doing and I didn’t get any help. It was a bit frustrating and overwhelming as a first time bride to deal with that.

I had seen a beautiful Justin Alexander dress online last year and Tiffany’s Bridal seemed to be the only place who had the sample so, despite no Unilocal reviews (which I had been using extensively for bridal salon recommendations), I took a chance. I live in DC but made the trek down to Richmond. I am so glad I did. Through the whole process the people at Tiffany’s have been wonderful. I had my appointment with Kate. I didn’t feel rushed or pushed into buying something. She took the time to make sure I found what I was looking for and was super knowledgeable about the dresses and the wedding business in general. I ended up buying the Justin Alexander, the dress came in when they said it would, they were very responsive to all my questions and really a joy to work with. Despite the drive from DC for all the appointments and fittings, I would totally go back there again.
They have dresses in the $ 1000 range and up. They don’t require a credit card to make an appointment and are willing to use clips and things to make the sample fit right (I’m looking at you Betsy Robinsons). The salon is spacious with plenty of room to move around and the dressing rooms a good size. They have a good selection of dresses and the racks are all against the wall so it is easy to see what they have.

Always a bridesmaid…
You know how the rest of that saying goes, but I’m not complaining! I enjoy being a part of my closest friends’ special days and love, love, LOVE the bridal attire. From the fancy white dresses to the three-​piece suits, it’s always amazing to watch everything come together on the day-​of.
That said, not all bridesmaid dresses are pretty, and rarely can you wear them again (despite what people tell you). Thankfully, Tiffanys proved the first part of that statement wrong. One of my oldest and dearest friends decided to explore the bridesmaid dress options at Tiffanys during her wedding planning. Being the supportive and excited bridesmaid, I accompanied the bride-​to-​be and her sister to Tiffanys for the ultimate bridesmaid dress try-​on sesh. When I say this was the ultimate try-​on sesh, I mean that we tried on more dresses than I can even count. Seriously, it was like I’d come out wearing a dress, do a little modeling for the bride, and as I went back into the fitting room to try on another style, her sister would come out in a different dress. Then as her sister went back into her room, I’d come back out in a new one. And on it went, just like that, until we found a winner. Of course, we narrowed it down to a few options that her sister and I both tried on before the bride-​to-​be was ready to say yes to the (bridesmaid) dress. The dress she ultimately chose was flattering on every bridesmaid (and by no means do we all have the same body type) — strapless and flowy with a defined waist in a deep purple color that perfectly aligned with the fall-​themed wedding. It was beautiful, and still is beautiful sitting in my closest anxiously awaiting the day that it gets worn again. Now I can’t promise it will ever make a reappearance on my body, but I can say that it is definitely a beautiful dress.
The consultant we worked with at Tiffanys was patient, knowledgeable and friendly. She didn’t rush us, nor did she pressure us to choose a dress. I think both of those qualities contributed to the bride’s decision to pull the trigger during our visit. All of the ordering was smooth, none of the sizes were incorrect, and all of the bridal party details were kept straight — very important when the bridesmaids are scattered throughout multiple states. The bride did not get her wedding dress from Tiffanys, so I can’t speak to the bridal gowns or consultations, but I am fully confident in recommending Tiffanys to anyone looking for bridesmaid dresses.
