Amazing little spa! My fiancé bought me the Body Wrap, Facial and LED light treatment from Living Social. what an awesome way to spend a Friday afternoon after a busy week. Margaret was my aesthetician and she was amazing. The lady at the front was so accommodating and awesome! I scheduled a massage for April before I even left. The only bad thing about this place is that I had to leave. Such a gem.

I have been a frequent client for well over a year and I highly recommend this spa. I receive massage therapy on an on-​going basis as well as facials. The therapists are top notch and the products are excellent. I truly believe that the team at Spataneity is looking out for my well being.

Solid five stars for this little spot in Richmond Virginia. What a little gem!
What really makes it special is probably two things:
first of all the management is excellent and you can tell they are going to take care of you, get you scheduled and everything is going to flow, and you’re going to get what you paid for.
Second, the people working there are skilled and talented!
We had a full day of massage, a body scrub, a facial with tinting and waxing services. Every thing was wonderful and relaxing and we left feeling renewed. lt was a wonderful restorative day and the setting was peaceful and conducive to relaxation.
Well done! I wish I lived in the area– I’d be here all the time

I bought a groupon for a body wrap here and enjoyed my experience so much that I bought three more! The express facial was different every time and my face was left glowing. They were also super accommodating when the hurricane interfered with my appointment. Definitely recommend!

I’ve tried just about every spa in town looking for my favorite place to get a facial, and this one was my favorite! I actually fell asleep! Always a sign of a relaxing experience. Signature facial included a full foot massage too

I had a facial at SpaTaneity a few months ago, with mixed results.
On the plus side, the price was decent, my skin looked good a few days afterward, and the aesthetician gave me a foot massage as well, and they sent me a thank you note with a $ 10 off coupon for my next visit.
On the minus side, she did no extractions, and used an amino acid on my face that turned it bright red for DAYS. I was hugely surprised, since it didn’t burn while it was being put on… but I was planning on going grocery shopping afterward, and definitely changed my plans and just went home instead.
Overall, I would probably try it again, but would make sure to say no to whatever product they used that was so harsh.

This is an intimate spa with some out-​of-​the ordinary treatments. The spa itself is dimly lit with several small treatment areas. The colors are soothing and its tastefully decorated. It definitely feels like a nice spa with an owner who cares.
Along with your traditional waxing, eyelash/​brow tinting, manicures/​pedicures, facials, body treatments and massages, SpaTaneity offers Ear Candling. They describe it on a site as «a natural, painless, non-​invasive technique that dates back to Egyptian, Chinese and Native American culture.» They says it’s believed to cleanse the body on a physical and spiritual level by releasing toxins. I haven’t tried this, but it’s definitely intriguing.

Love this place. It is small, welcoming and they use organic products. Located in a nondescript stretch of businesses on Patterson, it doesn’t look like much on the outside but inside it has a very cool Asian flair. I’ve had just about every service and was very happy. I’ve been to other places for a European facials and this is the first in Richmond where my neck & shoulders were attended to. Because it is small, there is not the overwhelming insipid chatter of Bitsy, Muffy & Mary Margaret about their impending tennis match. And it doesn’t smell like those cheap nail places either. Best part is that they don’t try and push pricey products while you are on your way out the door.
