It looks a little rough around the edges, but the chairs are great and Ive never had a bad experience here. Once you go a few times they remember you. I drive out to Regency just to go to this place, its my number 1 nail place

I brought my sister here for a birthday mani-pedi, so I was hoping for a quality, enjoyable experience. My expectations were met and exceeded! The salon was clean and spacious. They had fresh flowers everywhere which added to the ambiance. The pedicures felt amazing. We sat in enormous and comfy massage chairs, which felt like heaven on earth. Our estheticians were professional and friendly. I had Kristen, who was very sweet and fun. We had a great time chatting while she did my nails. Our gel manicures were well done and long lasting. It was 2 weeks before they started to show wear, and the polish was still near perfect after a month. If your nails grow very slowly like mine, you can get away with having the gel on that long. The only downside is that I felt the shaping of my toenails was done a little too rapidly and haphazardly, so I was left with some rough edges. The polish lasted forever though, so it’s a very minor negative and not worth removing a star. They have plenty of room and staff to accommodate many people, so if it’s a girls spa day or a bridal party, they have you covered. Most importantly, my sister loved the experience. I’m sure we’ll be back and I’ve been recommending this salon to friends. Please note, there are several Red Salons in Richmond. This review is for the one at Regency Square. If you see very negative ratings for a «Red Salon», it may actually be a different location.

Try ZERO stars. Terrible customer service. They will not honor gift cards from previous ownership, yet they are happy to take the clientele of the prior owner. Will never return here.

After a friend’s suggestion, I went with her to get my gel re-done. At first, I wasn’t too keen on the idea of going to an in-mall nail salon– I’ve just never appreciated a non-free-standing salon. When we went, we must’ve hit a busy time because there weren’t enough booths for us to sit next to each other. Granted, it is a small space. The chairs and booths, fans and UV machines had dried nail polish on them, and some dust(maybe nail filings) on the fan and UV machines. It took some getting used to… The staff smiled more than the previous place I had been to, and they were definitely more conversational. A short hand massage accompanied by warm towels at the end of the session was nice. The french maincure she did was pretty, and she filed my nails down nicely. But some of the tips were crooked, namely, my index finger, my pinky, and my thumb. The price was better than many places I’ve been to, and the service was great. I WOULD, however, suggest doing a spring cleaning and wipe down the mirrors, use some acetone and clean up dried nail polish, and taking a wet rag and wiping all the dust/nail filings away. Also, tape down or push electrical cords out of the way so feet don’t get caught in them.

I have mixed feelings about this place. The first time I went, I had a great experience with a mani/pedi. I thought they did a great job, the prices were great, and the ladies were very friendly. The second time I took my mother for a post-mother’s day pedicure. This experience wasn’t as good. While ultimately our pedicures turned out fine, they didn’t check the heat of the rocks before doing the hot rock massage on my legs and burned me so badly I screamed(embarrassing!). They apologized, and I realize it was an accident and they were very apologetic, but it was definitely painful. Additionally, my mother has had major surgery on her ankle and explained about her scars, and while the pedicurist was mostly extremely careful, they did manage to grate one of her scars — which she didn’t realize until later because she doesn’t have nerve endings there anymore. She is pretty sure the pedicurist realized it at the time and said something to my pedicurist in another language, but she wasn’t terribly upset — though, frankly, I am. I’m sure I’ll give them another try, but I’m definitely disappointed the second experience didn’t live up to the first.

Needed my nails done bad and I wasn’t in my town where I usually get my nails done. I have an awesome nail guy who has made me super spoiled and picky about my nails. I wanted to wait until I was in my town but I really needed a fill. The ladies were nice and spoke good English so I was able to explain to her the design I wanted. She did a okay job(again I’m just used to my nail tech). Would defiantly recommend to anyone who is looking for a good nail salon around Richmond!

I have been going to Red Nails & Spa for years. I don’t know about their nail services but this is a solid place for an eyebrow wax. On Thursdays they have waxing discounts and eyebrows are $ 7! They are located inside Regency Square Mall right outside of the men’s Macy’s. There is no particular person that I get to wax my eyebrows, but I still know that they will look good every time. If you desperately need a wax and it’s a Thursday and you’re on a budget definitely go to Red Nails & Spa!

I needed a pedicure to kick off the week and ended up at this Red Nails after finding out my usual girl at my usual salon was off on Sunday. Plus, this salon was closer. I got a good pedicure(lady took her time) at a good price, but this shop has some broken pedicure chairs, and it’s kind of ghetto fabulous. Their polish selection is pretty small, too. That doesn’t mean I wouldn’t go back in a pinch.

Worse place I have ever been. They dropped stuff all over my new tory burch purse and then didn’t apologize or anything. I asked what the protocol was and they said its not their responsibility for personal items even though it was their fault. I left without finishing my manicure and they still charged me the full price. Worst service I have ever had! Will never go back and my purse is ruined and all I wanted was an apology.

Walking around Regency, I came here yesterday for a pedicure($ 24) and an eyebrow wax($ 7 which was the deal of the day). Service here is very friendly. Everyone can speak English well(plus!) and they do a thorough/non-rushed job. Also, they have many colors(more in the back). The only thing I wish they did was trim my eyebrows afterward. (+) reasonable prices, prompt and attentive service
