The good: The best bread buns anywhere in America served piping hot & taste close to a French Brioche & amazing pecan pie.
Miles our server was personable & a delight
The bad: food arrived at our table lukewarm and the potato soup tasted like made from a powder mix. The shrimp were overlooked .

Every time I go in I ask for the same waitress. I’m from the deep south so I know southern hospitality. This waitress always knows what I want and brings it before I have to ask; if anything I never have to ask, she always ask me and I always enjoy my meal without being bothered. Never a need to ask for a refill on my tea; which I being a southerner take pride on the tea staying filled. 6÷17÷15. 4 Stars for the French Dip sandwich! Got to love Free Pie Wednesday! You are able to sub fries for a vegetable if you want. The service was great. I would go back and have this sandwich again for sure.

I feel I’m being kind by giving this rating. My friend and I arrived barely after 11 am and we were in a slight rush. We were the first customers of the day. We were seated and our server came and took our drink order. After 10 minutes I’d say my friend told the hostess we hadn’t seen our server since she took our drink order and we wanted to order. She comes a short time later and we both ordered soup and salad with ALL THE UNSLICEABLE ROLLS we care to eat (or whatever the menu says). Soon she brings our soup and salad (she had the wrong dressing) and she informed us it would be 10 minutes on the rolls, she had just put them in the oven. Huh? They’re not put in the oven until after they’re ordered? Why don’t they put the rolls in before opening or at least WHEN they open? So we ate, without rolls which to be honest the rolls are our main reason for going to O’Charley’s. It was eat without rolls or eat cold soup since she brought it without asking if we wanted to wait for the rolls. She brought me a drink refill, the wrong drink. I have eaten at many O’Charley’s restaurants and I enjoy them usually. The Richmond one is not one that I’ve enjoyed. I would not recommend this store. Drive a little farther and go to one that cares about their customers.

Went there for my daughters birthday dinner. Wasn’t too crowded but then always have great service there. The food was great and is always constantly good. I had the bacon cheddar burger, was great. Daughter ordered steak along with grand daughter, both were very good, per them. My wife ordered the chicken pot pie and was heavenly per her. Great place to go and get great service and good food. A lot of other places should take note from this restaurant chain. Keep up the good service and food.

After getting sat it took 5 minutes for a server to come to our table to get our drink order. By then we had already decided what we wanted to eat so we ordered, out appetizer came out lightening quick but might I add that we were here for lunch too. I ordered a half a sandwich and my gf got Cajun chicken pasta. We ordered our food at 1:06 and we didn’t see our food til 1:24. It wasn’t extremely busy and anytime our server came back to the table there was nothing friendly said, just a refill and run. Wasn’t that impressed with ocharleys today.

A regular place for me! Great Staff, Food and Drinks! You can’t go wrong here! The Prime Rib is always delicious as are all the dishes I’ve tried! Great bar selection as well!

I’ve been here only a few times but O’Charley’s had never disappointed me. They are definitely the go to place for a nice quality sit in meal at a great price. They have a great variety of food and it always comes out fresh and hot.
I’ve never had issues with the service there they always have been prompt and quick to get whatever I needed. When compared to something like applebees which has a similar menu I’d pick this place over it and day. I highly recommend stopping here for your next meal.

O’Charley’s in Richmond is clean has friendly wait staff and the food is always on point. I haven’t had any bad experiences eating at this location!

Now that this restaurant has been remodeled, it is one of my families favorite places to eat in Richmond. We have eaten at many restaurants in Richmond, and this one would be one of the best. Fast, friendly service, newly remodeled restaurant, and delicious food all make this a great place for lunch, or dinner. I would recommend this to anyone, ad hopefully your experience is as good as mine!

I got here in time for happy hour at the bar. I only drink Chardonnay, but the bartender told me they were out of «that kind» of Chardonnay (aka the cheap, happy hour kind), so I could just get White Zinfandel (do people still drink that?!?) or Merlot, or I was welcome to get one of their «regular» chards but I’d have to pay full price for it. Whaaat?!? It’s not my fault you’re out of it-​Wal-​Mart is RIGHT across the street and they sell wine!!!
She gave in and gave me a glass of their «pricey» chard (at the happy hour price per my suggestion), but barely filled it up and it was in a dirty glass!!! AND one of the TV’s at the bar wasn’t working!
I’m here on business, and after a long day of work the least I can ask for is a glass of wine and a happy bartender to serve it to me! I’m leaving and going to Outback!

Hit and Miss. Ate here on 8÷8÷13 and had a steak. It did not taste right and I had to send it back. It made me sick and we had to leave. Server was kind about it but did not inform the manager. I know that as no manager came to our table. I think this is quite careless when food served makes someone ill on the spot.
Please note that wife and I eat here regularly and it is usually fine, but tonight was a turn for the worse. We may not return for a long while.
