History

Established in 2015.

KP Events is a new business specializing in wedding and event planning.

The owner, Dillon Komula has a background in sales and marketing. Prior to opening KP Events, Dillon has planned fundraisers and other school related events that required media coverage, venue selection, catering, entertainment, photography, and other vendors. One fundraiser was a powderpuff football game — in which girls played football and guys played cheerleaders. It was a unique and fun fundraiser that was extremely successful. The proceeds went to Susan G. Komen’s Foundation for breast cancer awareness. The fundraiser itself raised over $ 2100 to the foundation.

Venturing out after young age and resume building. Dillon decided to pursue his dream of owning his own business. This business of course is wedding and event planning, as it has always been a big impact on his life. Dillon enjoys the stress of the events, the researching, the planning, the organizing. That’s why he is in this business.

Coming from a sales background, Dillon has a tremendous amount of experience networking and dealing with customers. Starting at a young age in business and management, Dillon got a quick start in to the «business owner» role.

Prior to KP Events, Dillon comes from a rather heavy leadership background. In high school he served as a member of the JROTC staff. After high school, while attending college, he excelled in a top notch sales company and was promoted to management within 6 months. Within a year with the company, Dillon moved on to open an office with a District Manager.

He lives off the philosophy of 100% customer satisfaction. Dillon said, «No matter what industry you’re in, a big part of being successful in that industry is by the way you represent yourself, your product, and your brand. If you maintain 100% customer satisfaction and go above and beyond to ensure they are completely satsified, you’re guaranteed to receive great results.»
