I give a big nod to the fact that I am dating a Hispanic man because my love for Mexican food continues to grow. We make delicious food at home, go to authentic spots on Lake Street and occasionally enjoy running to our local Chipolte. I may not be fluent in Spanish but I know enough to know when people are talking smack… and the staff here badmouths the customers. They also are impatient and rude. They were annoyed when I asked for my sour cream on the side. One woman walked away in the middle of putting rice on man ‘s burrito that was behind me in line. All in all it was a very negative experience and I left angry. When i got home I opened my bag… and I didn’t even get all of my food! I checked my receipt and sure enough I paid for it! Grrr… It just rubbed salt in the wound. This was about 2 weeks ago and I am still ticked at the entire experience. Chipolte… you have lost this families business!
