Night staff needs guidance on how to do their jobs. Any job. We were there late, just after 8:00 on 2÷23÷16. There were 4 – 5 people waiting in line. There were EIGHT employees behind the counter. There couldn’t have possibly been a manager among them. There was ONE employee actually making food, two were cooking, and the rest were screwing around. The one employee that was preparing food was not helping anyone in line, he was making FIVE orders that had been faxed in, and he was clearly stressed. Someone from the back came up front, looked at the line, then went into the back again. A few minutes later he came back up front and decided to work… by ringing up the faxed order. We waited and waited and waited. One of the female employees was extremely annoying… laughing, giggling, flirting with the boys. Then she decided to make a plate of tacos. For herself(and you should see how they make food when it’s for themselves)! If she was on break, or if her shift was over, fine. But her behavior previous to her«break» was obnoxious and unprofessional, all while once in a while glancing at the people in line. The counter my food was prepared on looked like it hadn’t been wiped down all day. The tables looked the same. My burrito fell apart before I could finish since the guy who wrapped it knew it wasn’t going on HIS plate. I had to wash my hands before I could even put my jacket back on. I love Chipotle — the company, the brand, the food, their goals and initiatives, the fact that they try to EDUCATE the consumer about food… but ever since the illegals were removed from staff, their service SUCKS. Noodles is right next door, where you don’t have to scream your order over loud music. Just sayin.

I live just a few blocks from this Chipotle. I will say that it’s not as great over-the-top service as the one in Edina, but it hasn’t been lacking on my visits. Their place is clean, their service is normal, their staff is friendly. There have been many times that I’ve come in during a rush and been out of there in 10 minutes — in my mind that’s awesome for Chipotle in general. The one time they oopsed my order I walked out with free double meat. Can’t complain about that! :)

We LOVE Chipotle and unfortunately, this location is literally 2 minutes from my house. Not the best Chipotle due to the rude and apathetic staff. It’s a hit or miss on the employees but for the most part, they cannot wrap a proper burrito for the life of them. Towards the end of my burrito, every thing fell apart at the bottom, and when I went up to let them know they could care less. Location is pretty small and they do take a while to get customers through. The better Chipotle’s that I’d recommend here are Woodbury & Mall of America’s! They do the food and service right. Richfield Chipotle, get your act together.

Absolutely love chipotle but this location sucks. Service is terrible!!! Everyone has a bad attitude. I had hair in my bowl and when I brought it back they were very rude.

It hurts me to give Chipotle less than 4 stars because of my love for them. The reason I’m giving them 3 stars is because their service could use some work and some times their food is more salty than other Chipotles. On a few occasions I’ve stood in line for about 15 minutes when the restaurant wasn’t even full and the line wasn’t long. Oh well, I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t going back!

I’ve been to this location 3x in the last 2 weeks. It does not deserve its 2.5 star rating. Good friendly service. Good portions. Nice clean outdoor seating area. Awesome Chipotle product. This is the one«fast food» restaurant that has my respect.

Oh burn this location doesn’t get very good reviews huh?! I really don’t have any complaints about this Chipotle, maybe because it is the only one I have ever visited. I think the carnitas salad is wonderful, great quick semi healthy lunch :) The parking lot is a whole other store, what a mess.

This is the teeniest Chipotle I’ve ever been in. Somehow they move people through very quickly because having someone stand outside in this cold weather? NOMA’AM! I have a secret place in my heart for Chipotle. Yes, it’s HUGE portions. Yes, it’s technically fast food. Yes, you absolutely do need to get an over-priced side of guacamole. But… I love it. However this Chipotle is probably my least favorite of all of them. The last time I ate here, I thought I was getting a cold because my food was completely tasteless. Even my beloved guacamole! However, it was just unseasoned food and super wilted lettuce. I’ll get my steak salad fix elsewhere thankyouverymuch.

This isn’t the best Chipotle. The rice is bland, almost no lime, cliantro, or salt. The beans are bland too(bay leaves anyone?). And the tortillas get stuck to the foil and tear open all the time. The burritos taste nothing like Chipotle. they’re one step above Aramark from this location. I don’t know why they don’t fix themselves, they’re one of the worst Chipotles in Minnesota.

I have been to many Chipotle’s in MN and California. I was appalled by the service at this location. Granted, they were busy, but they were flinging my food around so fast that I couldn’t finish a sentence. When I asked them to slow down and pointed out they were getting the order wrong, I was met with nothing but dirty looks.

The Chipotle brand is all about fast, healthy, eco-friendly, cheap, tasty Meximerican food. Richfield Chipotle does not deviate from this model. However, I’ve consistently been irked by their service… My go-to order at Chipotle is 2 veggie tacos*. Guac is usually an extra charge. However, when you order veggie, the guac is the«meat.» Too often they skimp on the green stuff: ~ 2 quarter-sized dollops per taco(the equivalent of 2 chicken or steak cubes). I don’t add cheese or sour cream – the guac is what I rely on to make my tacos luscious. Only a fine smear disappoints. Of less annoyance is the manner in which my tacos are slopped together. It’s always a disaster to eat for two reasons.(1) The assembly lines moves rapidly. Ingredients are ungracefully slung into the taco(2) The line workers over-stuff the tacos, the contents of which cannot be sealed in as they would be in a burrito. Typically, more ingredients fall to my tray than remain tortilla-encased, so I usually end up forking it. Since I’m far from Miss Prim and Proper, I’ll deal with the taco explosion, as the lack of delicacy and care put into the taco assembly process actually works in my favor equating to quick service and lots of food! So, Chipotle Richfield, keep doing your thing(your thing=sub-par service)! *Tip: A normal order of tacos is 3. But, you can order a la carte. 2 tacos has always proven to be plenty filling.

My work team decided to do Chipotle for lunch today. I ordered a chicken burrito bowl with lettuce, cheese, sour cream, black beans and easy on the hot sauce. What I got was basically sour cream soup with BARELY any lettuce, cheese, or meat. My coworkers were like OMG, Kim!!! Then one of them said she had a hair in her burrito from a previous order. I look across from me at my other coworker’s burrito bowl and it was filled with lettuce? Not sure if when they put my burrito bowl together there was a lettuce shortage? Not a great experience in my opinion. Wish I could’ve enjoyed lunch like my coworkers did. Happy New Year, Chipotle.

The staff was extremely rude and we’re outwardly annoyed when I asked for an extra scoop of something. The whole time the two girls near the register were judgmentally smash talking the customers in Spanish, both me and my sister speak Spanish and were appalled. The food was good but not worth being treated like a nuisance.

If you’re hungry, enjoy Mexican food and looking for a quick meal, Chipotle is a great option. This particular Chipotle is in a busy location(35W&494) not far from the Best Buy corporate campus — that said, they do a good job of quickly preparing burritos and limiting the wait in line. This store has a great staff and is always clean.

Over all the food is good, and I have never had a bad burrito bowl. However I would not recommend coming to this location during lunch time rush. With all the big business right next store(best buy corporate) it is vary hard to find a parking place. But never the less I still call this location my favorite.
