Kwik Kar of Richardson

Exceptional service. I was waited on in a timely manner and the guys were very friendly and knowledgeable. They had all the oil selections I could possibly need and didn’t try to nickel and dime me. I would recommend to all my friends and family to use KwikKar of Richardson on Jupiter.

Been going to this location for a couple of years now. These guys are good and honest at what they do. They don’t nickel and dime you for services. They always get the job done quick and efficiently. If they can’t do something, they let you know and recommend other places that can do as equally good of a job. They have my business.
Be careful with other reviews. Take everything with a grain of salt. Most people write reviews when they are upset. And those don’t do justice for thousands of others that come to this location and leave happy every time that don’t write a review.

They get 2.5 for the work they did. My husband and I really liked them. We felt like they were honest and did a great job. We go them for all inspections and oil changes, that kind of work.
They lose 2.5 stars because of my recent inspection process. I had my car inspected in Jan. I lost the paperwork (i know I know, keep it in your glove box, I already got yelled at LOL) Because of the new law that went into effect ³⁄₂₀₁₅ and the fact that my registration was already expired (another, I know I know conversation with my hubby) I had to show proof of my inspection paperwork to the registration office in order to get all this cleared up. Like I had stated before, I threw it away, er, I mean «lost it».
I called Kwik Kar to tell them I needed another copy of the inspection and explained the situation. Their response was, We dont keep that information on file, you will have to come back in and get another inspection done. WAIT WHAT?
After a long conversation with my dad and another I know, I know moment, we called a «friend» in the state inspection office. Turns out they are full of crap, they are required to keep these filed online until the DPS comes and deletes them. The light at the end of the tunnel, you can actually pull this up online, the complete inspection report!!!
I really feel like Kwik Kar just wanted to screw me for more money. For those of you who didnt know this (Kwik Kar also said they are getting all kinds of calls about this, meaning they are making tons of ppl come in an re-​inspect) go to
click on vehicle inspection, then click on download your vehicle report, you will need your inspection serial number (the one on the outside, trust me there are 3, I found out the hard way) and your VIN.

Don’t go there. The manager Divid is a non-​logical manager. And that place is also making mistakes and manager is full of bullshit and lies. If you are a customer and you are a foreigner and don’t go there, because they take advantage of language barrels .I just need oil change and they told me some bullshit service that I don’t understand. So from the beginning to the end, I thought I only request the oil change and when I checked out, the bill was around $ 300. Then my boyfriend came back to argue with him and he asked me back to explain. Since there was a language barrel, why do I have to be there? Anyway, another mistake he made immediately is that he told my boyfriend he has been in this shop for 14 years and be a manager for the shop next to the road 15 years. Before that he told me he is 35. Well, I guess he started to work when he was 6… My friend is awesome and he helped me solve the problem eventually. But honest opinion for everyone, I have heard other complains from the neighborhood. Don’t go to that shop. And In the end, I want to tell the manager not to insult our dear god’s name.

I took my car to the Kwik Kar at 1851 N. Jupiter Rd. Richardson, TX 75 081 and the manager told me that to replace my front brake pads, rotors, and an oil change it would run me $ 380 out the door. So after they did the work and the guy was ringing me up, he said it was $ 382.56. I then asked, why is it $ 382.56? The other guy told me it would be $ 380 out the door. At that point the guy goes out and talks to the manger, then the manager comes back in and says, $ 2? Really? Then the guy proceeds to start getting money out of his own pocket to pay the difference. I told him that he doesn’t have to be an ass about it, that I was just curious as to what the difference was for. He continued to dig money out of his pocket, so after I paid the new bill of $ 379.32, I left. Once I got home, I called the store to register a complaint, but the manger refused to give me the name of his superior. He claimed that he was the General Manger and there was no one above him to complain to. Needless to say, I will never go there again, or any other Kwik Kar for that matter.
