Service starts from the second someone greets you at any place of business. Today I came for an oil change one hour before they close. I’ve never changed my cars oil but I’m sure it’s not too difficult. By the look at the employees face it seemed as if this was too much of an inconvenience. Right off the bat I felt bad for bringing my business here. Maybe I should have gone somewhere where they look forward to seeing customers walk in. Maybe a bad day. I’ll still come back, give them another chance.

Came here for a motorcycle inspection because apparently Firestone doesn’t do bike inspections DESPITE being listed on the state inspection (.gov site) website.
Now, it’s 6:30p and almost everywhere is closed… except Kwik Kar! Called them just to make sure and headed over. No other customers were there and the gentleman came straight to my car to greet me. Then I directed him to my bike (that my friend rode in for me). I was in and out in roughly 10 minutes.
If you don’t have too much time, they’ll be sure to do it… kwikly.

I’m a little confused on why there was a wait for a inspection when I’m the only person here. 5 people there standing around. I not sure why I am waiting when the website said the shit takes 15 mins?

Terrible customer service.
Waited for 1.5 hours for am oil change.
Only thing they are good at is cross selling. Agents only interested in selling additional items that are not required.
Would never come back here. Wanted to ensure that other customers are made aware.

I don’t expect much from a oil change but their manner was awful. First of all don’t greet a customer with a cigarette in your mouth and if you are going to say something negative about a customer make sure they can’t see you say it.

My husband usually does the oils changes for me but I was going out of town and wanted to make sure all was well.
I got here at 9:45 on a Saturday and was able to be taken immediately. I went and sat at a picnic table they have covered in shade which was nice and spoke to another patron. Fifteen minutes later the mechanic came to me and told me that I had a leak and was down to only half a quart of oil and they could put a sealant as a temporary Nd cheaper fix so I opted for this option since I was leaving and didn’t have the money to worry about it. He also let me know that my transmission fluid was a deep black instead of the normal red and that he could drain it and refill it. I don’t know the average cost of that so I paid the $ 60 for peace of mind.
The other patron and I spoke and said that we liked coming here because we don’t feel like we are getting taken for a ride and that they don’t offer unnecessary things, he also pointed out that the demeanor of the mechanic was what it should be, he was caring and didn’t seem like he was trying to push unneeded things.
I will always bring my car here for my oil changes because they are quick, and bs free.

Had to wait FOREVER for a basic oil change. Then they did the usual thing car mechanics do when they see a young woman, convince her that her car is going to explode if she doesn’t drop 150 bucks right now. Luckily I’m not stupid and just paid for my oil change. Took my car to my mechanic I can trust, and he did his inspection and laughed, there was nothing wrong with my car. They also told me I had to buy synthetic oil even though my owners manual didn’t say it needed synthetic oil anywhere. Not the worst experience, but can’t say I’ll be going back.

So great, and by far, the easiest oil change I’ve ever had! These guys are super efficient and explain everything concisely, not to mention being really nice and even helping me save some money while helping me maintain my car. I’ll definitely be back!

Great customer service and completed in a timely manner. Ordered an Oil change and watched as they did a full service job.

RIP OFF! Do not go here! I used to love this place. They were always efficient, I never had to wait long for anything, AND they always seemed honest. I never felt like they were trying to sell me hundreds of dollars worth of unneccessary parts that cost triple what it does at Auto Zone.
All that has changed over the last two months. First. I went in for an oil change, and they made me come out into the garage, having to hold my two year old the whole time, just to try & tell me I needed this flush, and that flush for $ 600. Baloney. Then I came in to have my inspection done today. They told me that my wiper made streaks on the windshield, and that supposedly meant I failed the inspection. I replaced that blade only two months ago, and have barely used it at all. This place obviously has no problem making complete lies up just to get a few more $$ out of me. Shame on you KwikKar! I definitely will not ever be back here again!

I like the KK brand, so I tried the station on Jupiter Rd in Richardson– twice– and they were very rude to me– twice. I decided to give this location a try today for my oil change and inspection. They were VERY quick and VERY nice. I will definitely go back.

I have to admit, I tend to not trust oil change establishments.
My first vehicle was an old Chevy Blazer, and I used to change the oil on that beast personally, so I was always aware of the prices of oil and the actually work that is involved in changing oil.
With my new car, I cannot get under the vehicle without lifts, and unlike my Mexican cousins, I won’t drive it up on the curb at Autozone and change it in the parking lot (true story.)
Along with this knowledge, I had been screwed before by oil change places. Yes, I am THAT idiot that spent $ 150 on an oil change because I got up-​sold for everything. $ 50 for a $ 5 cabin filter? Sure. $ 50 for a $ 20 air filter that wasn’t dirty in the first place? Okay! $ 50 for the super (non-​synthetic) oil change? Okay…
Yeah… (shameful)
Anyway, I decided to hit up this locale, as they’re close to my place of work, and I figured that if I have to bite the bullet, at least do it at some place walking distance from my job.
My experience? Very good, to be completely honest. I was greeted immediately, and I informed the kind sir that I wanted synthetic (big pimpin’, spending… tens… … …) in my vehicle.
I sat down in the little office and waited for my vehicle to be serviced. I was upsold on some headlight cleaner (I’m a sucker) but I didn’t think it was too expensive as it is, and being that I had come from the desert to Dallas, they did need some legit chemical cleaning.
Overall, I was in and out incredibly quick. Service was straightforward and the price-​point was in-​line with other places. They will probably be my goto oil people in about 6 months (I’m getting every last mile out of this synthetic stuff, damn it.)
