I’ve been going to Dr. Bonnet for a little over a year now and I am regularly blown away by how excellent he is. I almost never have a wait past my appt time, and when the nurse takes me to the room to wait for Dr. Bonnet I rarely wait more than 5 minutes. Dr. Bonnet knows that medicine is expensive and does what he can to help that; samples for extremely expensive and rarely used stuff, and sometimes he will even say not to fill a prescription unless a certain condition happens, so that I don’t fill something if I don’t need to. Despite the fact that Dr. Bonnet is not a «Doc-in-the-Box,» I have never had a problem getting an appointment for the day of, and if I recall correctly, they have a time blocked away every day for walkins. As Justin said, Dr. Bonnet really puts you at ease with his end of appt joke.

At the time of my brother-in-law’s referral to switch my doctor to Dr. Bonnet, I had been extremely unhappy at my other doctor, so for me, any positive referral would do. But to my surprise, it was much more than what I expected. Upon arrival at Arapaho Village Medical, there is complimentary valet, or if you choose not to go that route, there is plenty of free parking. His office is on the first floor, which is nice, through the automatic sliding doors and straight to the back on the right. The dreaded ‘clipboard’ is minimal and the receptionist is pleasant enough. There is always a wide selection of reading in the 40ish-seat, modern, well-lit, but cozy waiting room. Every time I’m there I’m reading the latest Rolling Stone from the coffee table. The staff seems like they are a family and Mary, his head nurse, has been with Bonnet for over 25 yrs. Now, to Bonnet himself. Dr. Bonnet is extremely knowledgeable and always makes you feel comfortable. His demeanor is kind and never makes you feel like an idiot for asking questions and always explains things where one can understand what he is saying, but not insulting your intelligence. Diagnoses are always spot on. He ends every visit by telling you a joke(seriously, whether you ask or not), which is a quirky yet warm way to end seeing the doctor. I half expected to leave with a sucker.
