I used Dominic and his crew back in June for a complicated move that included moving items out of two storage units + a second floor, and all into a house. I could not have asked for a better experience. I’ve moved 20+ times in my life and have had all sorts of movers, and these guys are at the top of the list. They were right on time (biggest fear on moving day is the movers not showing up!), worked extremely fast, and were incredibly courteous and professional — took very good care of my belongings, like it was their own. Price was VERY reasonable. Feel very lucky to have found them here on Unilocal and will definitely be using them for any future moves! Thanks guys.

Very professional movers. They arrive on time and work very organized. They protect all the furnitures nicely and move them carefully. Also was surprised they use patio to hang my big coach from 2^nd floor to ground floor — save lots of work and prevent damages. We are very lucky to work with them.

Dominic and his crew are amazing. They arrived early (on an incredibly hot day) and move all my Heavy furniture. My walls in both places were immaculate, which was a big concern for me. The previous mover I had ding up my walls. The were very pleasant, conscientious and completed the job under the quoted time. Great bunch of hard working guys. It was a pleasure doing business with them. I would highly recommend them!

I called Dominic about a week before our move — he gave me a quote that was about 40% less than three other competitors. So, I decided to go with him.
He and his crew showed up 5 minutes before the time he said he would arrive, and it only took a quick 5 minute walk through before he was set up and starting to load the truck.
All the furniture was wrapped and maneuvered through hallways carefully, and then unloaded with the same level of care. In the end, the final bill actually ended up at the LOW end of the estimate — I was expecting him to charge the high end of the estimate because that’s what I figured movers do when they give you a price range. Very happy to see that he is charging honest time and materials rate.
I was extremely pleased with the speed, professionalism, and care that these guys showed throughout the whole process. I will definitely be calling them first for my next move. Highly recommended!

Out of all the movers i have ever had no one has lost my belongings and not fessed up to it. Unprofessional and unapologetic.

Domanic and his crew are amazing! They work quickly and carefully and they are nice while they do. They moved us from downtown Boston to a shipping service in Wilmington all with 72 hrs notice. This is the second time he’s been there for us in a bind. Five star service for reasonable price.

Dominic and his crew at Movers on the go were amazing. Leading up the move he was very informative and helpful. I had a lot of questions and he took the time to answer all of them as well as lay out options. Moving can be very stressful and it was made much easier. The day of the move they arrived on time and did an awesome job. I had a 2 – 3 bedroom and they were able to clear it out in about 2 ½ hours. Very impressed. Additionally when they loaded up the trailer provided by ABF, they made all of my possessions fit into much less space than was originally quoted and saved me almost $ 800. I would happily recommend them to all of my friends and family.

Wonderful movers. I will always use them. I’ve had some terrible experiences in the past. Dom and his crew are honest, hard working, safe, reliable, and incredibly fast. They are a really admirable company. Several times they moved me from NY to boston without hassle or high cost.

I have moved several times since graduating from college. I’ve never experienced a moving company quite like Domenic and his team. In the past, if a mover brings an extra man, they have told me right away, that the price went up, and did I want to use this man. This didn’t happen with Domenic. I was quoted $ 150/​hour for three men. He arrived with four men, and didn’t tell me that it was now $ 170/​hour because he brought an extra man. I didn’t find out till I was ready to pay him at the end of the move. Additionally, I moved into a brand new townhouse (new construction). After Domenic and his team were done with the move, I had scuff marks on my kicks and on my walls. I mentioned this to Domenic and he said, I could get it off with soap and water. Or perhaps the condo association would touch up the paint. Condo associations do not help with the inside of the condo once you purchase it. So, after the move, it cost me another $ 800 to fix the damage to my kicks and walls that Domenic and his men did. It has been very disappointing that in emails from Domenic, he has slandered my character, told me I was disturbed, and looking for a free move. Additionally, he doesn’t believe that it cost $ 800 to paint all my hallway and stair kicks that his men scuffed. He offered to give me $ 100. I found that an insult and would never hire him again. I would advise future consumers to be leary of using this company and to look elsewhere.

UPDATE: Just used Dominic and his team again to move and couldn’t be happier. Not only were they crazy enough to return to my 5^th floor walk-​up, they also moved my fiancé out of his apartment and both of us into an apartment in North End. Given Boston is generally one ongoing construction project, Salem St happened to be partially closed the day we moved. This didn’t even phase Dominic and his guys as they BACKED down the open portion of Salem St and onto our tiny one way street to make the move possible. One fifth floor move out + one third floor move out + North End madness = 2.5 hours. Only two and a half hours! Not only were we completely moved in and unpacking by 10:45 in the morning, they came in way under the estimate. Movers on the Go cannot be beat — thank you Dominic!

I wish Unilocal had 10 star ratings because these guys would get a perfect 10. Dominic and his friendly, helpful and careful staff moved us today from MA to VT. They were super sensitive to our belongings but worked really fast making the move go so fast. I may be 60 but the muscles on these guys did not go unnoticed! They are incredibly strong and were able to get a very large and heavy sofa up to our second floor apartment and through several doorways that I was convinced were too small. They are magicians! Everything arrived safe and sound and we are more than grateful for such an easy move. You can look elsewhere but I wouldn’t waste my time. These guys are the best!

I was a furniture mover for a lot of years in my youth, I worked for all kinds of crews, good bad and mediocre, and these guys reminded me of some of the best crews I ever worked for. On time, highly proficient, personable, the kind of guys you want coming into your home to do a move for you. I had a loooot of stuff, and in a tough 2^nd floor walkup, but instead of griping, these guys just got the job done. Filled the truck, got me up to my new house, put everything together and were out the door. No fuss, no muss.
Can’t recommend them highly enough.

I used Dominic and his crew for a local move from Reading to Andover 3 weeks ago. I picked him as one of the potential companies to use based on previous Unilocal reviews. When I called, he picked the phone up and was able to give me some open dates (I was looking 2 weeks in advance). We were moving a single family house, he was able to estimate over the phone how long it would take, how many people, and whether another truck would be necessary. His rates seemed quite reasonable, charging by the hour for his crew of 3 people. We confirmed a day later on the phone and then I started packing.
Dominic was a few minutes late (10), but I felt that was within reason. He and his crew got right to work, looking at what we had, asking us questions regarding labeling, etc. After seeing the house in person, he confirmed the information he had given me over the phone, then got right to work. They did a good job of working around us while we were doing some last minute packing. They were well equipped with pads, bands, etc., and made sure our items would not be damaged. We did not have any items damaged in the move, and they were very careful of our home and our belongings. They filled their truck to the brim, then headed off to unload.
The unpacking was as smooth as the packing, and all of the crew were personable and professional.
I would not hesitate to use Movers On the Go again. They made a potentially stressful move go off without a hitch!

Moving is awful and stressful, but Movers on the Go made my move a million times more bearable. I called Domenic a week before my moving day, and he was more than happy to oblige. He and his crew showed up on time and ready to go. They were professional, and got the job done quickly and efficiently.
Not only did Domenic do a great job, but his pricing was totally reasonable. I would absolutely hire him again!

Well I don’t usually write reviews. But after seeing professionalism and care Domenic & his crew showed, I have to share this with others.
Dominic and his team helped us move from Boston to New York in November 2011. They were on time to pick our stuff and were in New York first thing in the morning as promised. I have moved with other company’s, and believe me I lived through some bad experiences, of movers not showing up for days.
Dominic was reasonable in price and he delivered on time.
I would highly recommend Dominic to anyone reading this review.

These guys are excellent. I just needed a couple guys to help me move my stuff into an apartment in Boston. They showed up with three guys (in their own truck, which we didn’t need, but these guys come prepared). These gentlemen had plenty of brawn for the heavy stuff (some of my stuff is VERY heavy), but they also had brains, which came in handy for not damaging the furniture or the walls on the way in. They finished bringing all my stuff (a fully loaded 14-​ft UHAUL truck) up 1 ½ flights of stairs in about an hour and a half. After that they offered assistance in setting up furniture. Definitely recommended; I live in New York now and I kinda wish I could call them up to come down here and help me in my next move.

Having moved numerous times thoughout the years I only wish I had found Domenic and his crew earlier!!! They are fantastic!!! Professional is an understatement. They wrap EVERY piece of furniture and take the time to place it where you want it! They even put my bed skirt back in place — saved me SOOO much work struggling with a king size mattress!!! They were very friendly and didn’t stop working the entire time!!! These guys were the BEST!!! Thank you so much for making a tough move so easy!!!

Domenic & his crew ROCK!!! Seriously —
I moved in April, over Patriot’s Day weekend. I was in total denial — I had packed only 90% of my belongings, needed to take a quick trip to NJ, not bothered to gather many estimates, and generally was unprepared.
l literally called Domenic on my return trip from NJ. It was cold and rainy that weekend. He promised to be there promptly Saturday morning, and he was. (I did not even need the mattress and couch cover bags I had purchased, b/​c Domenic and his crew came fully equipped with padding and rain gear.)
They were quick, efficient, pleasant…they did additional tasks just to be helpful. And most importantly, in addition to him assuming my move at the very last minute, his pricing is reasonable and affordable.
I have subsequently contacted him for an estimate, and once again he was amiable, responded quickly with a reasonable quote, and was very flexible about scheduling.
I’m certainly going to use his services for my next move.

Love these guys! Two days before my moving day I was calling around trying to find someone who would move me, with no luck. Finally someone sent me to Dominic and I’m SOOO glad they did. Dominic and his crew were amazing, treating my stuff and me with huge amounts of respect. They even moved my couch in by hoisting it onto my second-​story porch and then through a window. It took crazy gymnastic shit and they did it with ease and grace. Badass.

Domenic and the crew were fantastic. They were on time, got right to business, took care of our belongings by carefully wrapping up each of our pieces of furniture, got everything quickly into the truck and on our way. We had run out of boxes, so they even gave us a few to pack up the last few items.
When we arrived at our new home, they were great at reading out what was on the box as they brought it in so that we could direct them where it went.
They were competitively priced and the estimate was spot on to the actual cost.
Last but not least – it was 95 degrees out the day we moved. HOT HOT HOT. We bought them some Gatorades and a pizza and they were super appreciative. I’d recommend Domenic and his crew any day!
