Hampton Inn Boston-Logan Airport

Stayed here for a weekend trip. Highly recommended!
The shuttle was great — picked you up from the airport and the Wood Island «T» Blue line. It runs
24 hours so all you needed to do was call hotel from subway stop and they picked us up within 10 minutes.
Breakfast was also good — lots of choices. They had a couple of hot options that changed while we were there (scrambled eggs, sausages, etc). My only negative was an aggressive housekeeper. We went down for breakfast around 8:30am and had planned to go back up to our room before leaving. We were down at breakfast for 15 minutes, came back to our room, and she was already cleaning the bathroom. She appeared annoyed that we needed to get back in the room, even though I told her it would only be a few minutes. Word to the wise — use the «do not disturb» even if you are just running out for a minute.

This hotel was great for the price! Can’t beat it.
The room itself was clean as was the bathroom. The folks at the desk were friendly and accommodating. The beds were OK. I’ve slept on better but then again on much worse.
I enjoyed the free breakfast. It wasn’t just bagels and Danishes but also two hot items, do it yourself waffle station, and cereals. I got the job done good enough to fill you.
Mute best part of this hotel is the shuttle! Will take you to the Wood Island subway station or the airport. This is extremely convenient because now you have easy access to the whole MBTA system. We called many times for them to pick us up at the station at the end of the day and the shuttle driver was there within 10 minutes. A Great service and a competitive advantage over competitors in the area. This must be where a lot of pilots and flight attendants stay as because very often they were on the shuttle with is. You’d be foolish not to stay here, it’s convenient and one of the cheaper rices hotels in the Boston area.

Absolute catastrophe. I came here on a business trip. The hotel was paid for by the company. Without verifying with me the clerk at the front desk charges me card for nearly $ 700 for my stay. I didn’t notice until the next day that $ 700 had left me account. When I asked for a refund because my company paid for the room they said they couldn’t as the charges were on hold by the bank. The negligence of the clerk put me in a situation where I had to call my bank and they credited me the $ 700 until this hotel released the funds back into my account which apparently takes up to five days. If my bank had not been able to do that then my rent check I had already written my landlord would have bounced costing me a fortune in late rent fees and possibly a notice to evict. I have strict landlords. Also, the hotel restaurant/​bar takes only cash. It’s insane. The poor bartender has to deal with a constant stream of angry customers because of this. It’s 2015. Cash only is absurd. I was planning on returning to this hotel on another trip, this time with 15 other coworkers. Not now. That’s 15 rooms for a week this hotel lost because of negligent clerk’s who were nothing but rude when I pointed out their error and a cash only bar/​restaurant. I will never be back.

If you want to be close to the airport for an early flight, this hotel is very close to the airport and has a free shuttle to and from. There’s a small but decent restaurant inside, in case it’s winter and you don’t want to leave to get food.

Worst hotel we stayed in during a trip to Boston. We checked in at 7 pm– not too late, but were given a room with a running toilet, clogged bathroom drain and an air conditioner that leaked.
The only reason that 2 stars is given is because they did pack a to go breakfast for earlier flights.
This a Hilton needs a status check from upper management. It gives a bad name to the brand.

The check in and out was easy. The rooms were clean and comfortable. I do think the air conditioning was cranked up way to high and very hard to make that comfortable. The location is Jewry close to the airport. So if you are just using this location for sleeping I would say do it. The charter driver was hesitant about helping me with my bags. We were told we could get a ride to near by restaurants which were only 2 options but because he had another pick up he dropped us off at his closest convince and not the one that was discussed. Where he just walked over to the train station going somewhere else. The staff at the desk was great. My review is based on the shuttle driver and the air conditioning of the room.

The positives: great location. Close enough to the airport for an easy drive, far enough away that you don’t get the noise keeping you up. A quick 15 minute über ride to downtown Boston was convenient. The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable.
The negatives: Terrible first check in attempt. Tried to check in around noon. Was told that no rooms would be clean until 3pm, and that all of them would be clean at that same time. When I asked for clarification that rooms were all cleaned at exaclty the same time, she said yes and walked away. Not the service a Hilton Diamond member expects. The breakfast was also well below Hilton standards. They had run out of the hot foods (at 9am) and I was told it would be another 30 minutes until they had more. The other foods were room temp boiled eggs, plain vanilla yogurt, or waiting in a long line to make your own waffels.

You probably wonder why give 4 stars to a moderate price hotel such as Hampton Inn. Well, I’ve stayed here on and off over the past few years and, I have no complaints whatsoever about this hotel.
The rooms are clean, beds are comfy, a friendly staff, decent complimentary breakfast in the morning, short driving distance from the airport (shuttle service available 24hrs!), and you can grab some coffee, tea, and cookies in the lobby! There is a Target across the street (which I will warn You, it’s risky trying to walk across a busy highway!), and several places will deliver food here (ask the front desk staff or use the GrubHub app on your smartphone to find them).

I stay at a few «3-​Start» hotels in the area that are relatively the same in regard to quality.
Pros– The room has all the basic amenities and is a good size. The free breakfast is very good and they supply free coffee all day. As an avid coffee drinker, I really appreciate it. The staff is friendly enough. Like many Hamptons, the room was clean!
Another plus, is the lounge area. They have beer (Sam Seasonal on tap) and some munchies. Not great food (probably microwaved or toaster over type), but not bad either, and reasonably priced. There were a few blue collar locals at the bar, as there really is nothing else in the area. While I usualy don’t go in, I did try the pool and hot tub. Again, both were clean and maintained.
Cons– The hotel is a bit dated. Mid 80’s look. As mentioned earlier, there is nothing else in the area. You can take a shuttle to a couple restaurants or the target across the street. The area is very industrial and I hear the beeping of large trucks backing up several times throughout the night.
My BIG con, is the price. I travel to Boston area often and realize hotels get more expensive the closer you get to the airport. However, for over $ 200 a night I expected much MUCH more. You can stay similar hotels in the area for $ 50 a night less. Unfortunately, the Pros do not outweigh the cost.
I would suggest offering a couple of free drink coupons, or a voucher for the restaurant to help off set the price.
While it was clean and the staff was friendly, I will not be staying here again simply due to the cost.

Rooms were decent nothing fancy, but what you’d expect from any business hotel. Everything is done on a very timely manner and their bus and transportation system they work there was one of the best I’ve experienced.
The free complimentary breakfast in the morning is actually very satisfying and filling. Also the «make your own waffles» was nice touch too.
The bar has enough of a selection for a late night drink. Drinks were strong and all were more than a «one drink» portion you’d get at a typical bar. Also the bartender was a sweetheart too.
I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Boston on business.

Very nice hotel. We prefer Hampton when we are going to a destination as they are always clean and comfortable. This hotel had the bonus of a nice lounge which also served pub style food. Had very nice hot breakfast as well. Rooms were comfortable and roomy for a Boston area hotel. Called from airport for a shuttle which arrived within 10 minutes. Staff very friendly & helpful. This not a 5 star hotel but you don’t pay 5 star price.

Rooms are not guaranteed. We should have had a single king and wound up with two twin beds and no apologies. We have stayed at many Hampton Inns and been pleased. This Hampton however had dirty baseboards, shower and beds were very uncomfortable. We will return to Boston but never to this Hampton,

We stay at Hampton Inns often so we tend to rate Hamptons vs Hamptons. This was one of the nicest properties yet, the staff is wonderful, the free breakfast is standard but well maintained, the location is conveniently located near the airport and trains. The only thing I could mention negatively is there is absolutely nothing close by the hotel… pharmacy, a hassle, outside food, a hassle… but that inconvenience is far out shadowed by the positives.

I would give this place 2.5 if I could. The rooms look clean but smell musty. The hotel is fairly bare bones.
The thing that prompted me to write a bad review was the breakfast. I have stayed in MANY hotels and I don’t think I’ve ever experienced a breakfast item called bagel toppers before. Soft, mushy piece of bagel that is topped with a scattering of cheese and bits of scrambled egg. This is the last thing one would want to eat if you care about a healthy diet. Give me powdered eggs any day after this ridiculous excuse for food.
There were a few boiled eggs so I ate them (I tried the bagel topper) as well.
Come on guys, really? Bagel toppers instead of eggs?

I like staying here. Its straight forward, easy in and out. The rooms are clean and adequately furnished. Overall its pretty quiet. Shuttle van to airport terminals.
The free breakfast is typical warming pan eggs and toast, but there is a waffle maker too. Its not made to order, but it will get you started in the morning before you head off to work.
The staff is always friendly. They are in an industrial area, but they will drive you to any of the local restaurants, there is a Target nearby, and the hotel bar has beer and drinks.
Full disclosure, I dont pay for it, my company does so I cant really say value. But I know its priced relative to the comparable hotels around, and I think they have a good product. I choose to stay here when I could go somewhere else.

We arrived after having been bumped from out hotel in the centre of Boston at the end of July this year.
Suffice to say that after being booked into a 5* hotel this was not quite what we expected — HOWEVER the staff on arrival were helpful and kind and were quick to check us in (at gone midnight).
The room was clean and tidy, and although we wanted a king bed we ended up with 2 queens which sufficed for the night.
The bonus for us was that breakfast was free and it was a clean hot and enjoyable affair.

This hotel does the job — but is not near the City Centre — however it sufficed for what we needed after arriving from London.

As much as i love the Hilton chain, specifically the hamptons, this hotel ws disappointing. firstly was definitely overpriced at ~$ 250 a night, add tax so $ 289. the decore represented $ 110/​night. The location ws across frm a oil storage tank field which could be smelled when outside of the hotel. the staff checking folks in ws not the normal friendly Hamptons staff i am used too. also, dont be fooled by their name– they r ~2 miles north of boston logan airport which cost $ 22 to arrive by taxi.
Ok good things: they shuttle back n forth to the airport and a few local restaurants. frm the airport can catch the Silverline to the boston convention center and other locations. the shuttle drivers were up beat/​positive and the hotel coffee ws very good. they have a little lounge area that serves drinks and food frm 5 – 11.
overall, dissappointing for this amount of money. next time ill remember to book early fr big conferences in boston for a hotel worth the money. if travelling here again, will try hilton which IS on the boston logan airport property. only took one pic because it was worth taking.

There was a misunderstanding about my room rate that was higher than my reservation when I checked-​in. I had to pay higher rate. When I got home, I contacted them via their website. The next morning an Assistant General Manger contacted me and adjusted the rate for me.
There were shuttle buses to Boston Airport and T station nearby (Wood Island station) running ²⁴⁄₇.
Breakfast was good. There were many choices including eggs and sausages.

The only Hampton I’ve been in that has its own restaurant/​bar-​ish set up. Nothing spectacular, but helps when you don’t feel like leaving the hotel (and there really isn’t a lot nearby). Restaurant service is a little slower but its ok.
Hotel is clean and decorated the same as other locations, staff was really nice. I used the fitness center and was able to get a spot, but I would imagine it can get really busy sometimes since there are only 2 treadmills, an elliptical and a bike (but they do have free weights). It seemed like a lot of kids were enjoying the pool, so during the summer I think it may be hard to get laps in if you are a swimmer.
I didn’t catch breakfast but it looked the same as other locations.
I didn’t use the shuttle or public transit but the location is close enough to downtown via car.

I can’t tell you whether or not the room rates are reasonable, because I redeemed Hilton Honors points for my stay here. But the room I got, a king suite, was really large — a 2-​room unit including a kitchen area. The staff is nice. The hotel is not necessarily convenient to get to, because you may have to go beyond and double back due to the divided highway, but conversely, that makes it convenient to depart for Logan Airport.
One suggestion if you are staying there and plan to charge devices. The charging station in my room was AWFUL. My phone said it was going to take 7 hours to charge. I moved my plug to the outlet in the bathroom — less than 90 minutes. Avoid the charging stations in the rooms if possible.
There are only about a half-​dozen dining options in the immediate area, including a couple of fast food restaurants (across the divided highway), 2 Italian restaurants nearby for which the hotel provides a shuttle, and a small restaurant on site called Two Doors Down (separate review). With the small selection, they really could have put any kind of restaurant here and it would have succeeded. I wish it had been something larger and more satisfying.
They do offer a morning breakfast, but it doesn’t start until 6am. Tough luck if you have to leave sooner than that for a morning flight. They do have coffee and fresh fruit round the clock. They provide you with «grab and go» snack bags if you have to leave before breakfast opens — not much, but better than nothing.
