This divey bar/restaurant is actually a great place to hide from the sun on a hot day. Our server was friendly, the beers were cheap, and our fried seafood platter was pretty delicious. The seafood was cooked perfectly, the fries were crisp, and the coleslaw was great. The food was nothing extraordinary, but I’ve seen plenty of bars mess up a fried scallop, and this place did it well. Also gotta love the Journey on the juke box. However, it’s cash only and we had to pay our server separately for each round of drinks. A little weird, but still a a good find.
