These systems are also effective in the extraction of moisture to prevent mold and mildew especially in crawlspaces. Our unique proprietary scientific methods allow us to have always had the best record of mitigating radon to less than 1 pCi/​L, the same as ambient outdoor levels.

RCP is the only radon mitigation company comprised of scientists and engineers, the oldest remediation company in the DC metro area, and one of the oldest in the world. We were the first company to appy radon remediation techniques to mitigate all other indoor vapors from soil vapor intrusion. We developed unique proprietary quantitative diagnostic analyses for our installation of remedial systems for radon, water vapor and numerous hazardous vapors by combining sub-​slab concentration measurements with site-​specific geology. RCP’s President derived proprietary equations to predict the correct exhaust fan, duct pipe, and ERV capacities for optimal indoor vapor mitigation.
