Recently used Cabletek/​Joe to conceal my ugly RG6 TV Cable. I couldn’t be happier with the service and price. It was a very easy and pleasant experience. They also did an excellent job patching the drywall after concealing the cable. I could not tell where they made the hole.

These guys go above and beyond expectations! Joe and Mitch are the best in the business. They come up with creative solutions, are extremely efficient, dependable, knowledgeable, versatile, the list goes on! Trust me, you won’t be disappointed.

Joe and his guys are great! Show up on time. Easy to work with. Installed our security cameras and set them up. And ran cable wire through our basement. Will be using him again in the future.

I scheduled a meeting with Cabletek on ⁷⁄₂₈ at 7am to discuss my home renovation project. Cabletek called me at 7:20am to state they would not make the meeting. They have not responded to my calls or emails attempting to reschedule so I’m now in the middle of my renovation scrambling to find a different company.

Let me begin by saying that Joe is a professional. Joe installed an 8 Channel NVR with 5 exterior cameras at my home. His cable runs and camera placement were perfect. When it came time to configure software, he trained me on the set-​up and the operation of the system. He also took the time to adjust the motion detection settings of the cameras so that potentially serious events would be captured. Joe is very knowledgeable and is only too happy to provide fact-​based advice. If you are looking for a professional CCTV system for your home or business, I suggest that you call Joe. As a final note, after the install and he was long gone, there was no trace that he had ever been there. That’s right folks, he cleans up after himself and leaves your property in better shape then he found it.

Great work by Joe. I called CableTek to wire ethernet through my condo and they arrived 15 minutes prior to appointment time and were very professional throughout the entire process. Joe even added a drop on the ceiling for me at no charge as it was being pulled through already. They cleaned up well and moved everything back. I am very happy with their work.
Joe is probably one of the most communicative people I have worked with. I would highly recommend them. The only issue I had was the patching of the holes they cut weren’t as clean as I would have liked. It’s not a big deal as they aren’t painters after all. I can just sand it down myself and repaint the area.

I called Cable Tek two days ago after finding them on Unilocal.I just moved to a new place in Arlington Va and needed two large flat screens mounted in the living room and bedroom. My last experience was with a directv installer who did side work and lets just say the job got done but it took 7 hours and wasn’t super clean. When i called i needed someone the next day… Joe picked up my first call and originally said he was booked up the next day (my day off) but could come out the following day. I told him that i was gonna continue contacting other companies looking for someone that could accommodate me for my day off but if i couldn’t find someone i would take him up on Wed. About 30 min later Joe called back and said he could fit me in so I said lets roll. Joe was extremely professional and courteous with his follow up and very reasonable with the rates. Joe showed up on time with another gentleman who sadly i forgot his name. I answered the door and these two looked kinda young but i’m like lets see what you got. Let me just say WOW… these guys are consummate professionals. They did an amazing job… super clean… I wanted no wires showing and all of my entertainment equipment and sound system connected in both rooms. They worked very timely and efficiently while doing a superb job of taking all of the wiring from the units and tidying them up tight and out of view. They did a great job cleaning up after themselves and I’m now enjoying the benefits of finding a company that really knows their stuff. These guys knocked out the whole operation in about 3 hours and i’m just elated. Thank you Joe and co worker for your excellent service… much appreciated!

Joe replaced our audio-​visual system with new digital equipment. He even gave advice on selling the old equipment. He helped us replace some speakers that were unused, with some more useful speakers. He knows his trade inside and out. He persisted until the main job was complete (despite several unforeseeable difficulties that arose), and has been very responsive to our follow-​up phone calls. We just hired him for a related job, which he took care of quickly and professionally. We are very pleased with Cabletek.

We were getting ready for a big party this weekend and needed some help getting some TV’s mounted & connected and making our outside speakers crisp. I didn’t know where to start.
CableTek had excellent reviews on Unilocal so I gave Joe a shot. Called at 9pm on a Thursday and to my surprise he answered. After his morning appointment he came to our home (on time mind you) and was here until 8pm hooking us up.
Excellent service and an excellent rate. I highly recommend Joe and his company. WE’ll have him back to help with any future needs.

My husband and I met with several companies about installing in-​wall surround sound in the family room in our new home, as well as providing and mounting a new TV. To be honest, a lot of the people we spoke with were real jerks! I was so disappointed!
Then my husband got in touch with Joe at Cabletek and Joe has been an absolute breath of fresh air– not only is Joe super-​knowledgeable and excellent at what he does, but he is incredibly nice and helpful. He answered all of our questions (and then about a million more questions), and each time was knowledgeable, helpful, detailed, and as friendly as could be. Our final product is AMAZING! Our family room audio sounds absolutely amazing– everyone who has been over raves about it and is asking for Joe’s card.
Cabletek’s prices were very reasonable and the workmanship was superb. Joe had to cut our drywall in several places to run wires and install our speakers/​subs, but when I returned from work after he completed the job, the drywall looked impeccable– I couldn’t even tell where it was cut. He patched and painted perfectly. He and his team were very neat, creating and leaving absolutely NO mess. (From someone who is constantly chasing and cleaning up after two messy young children, THANK YOU JOE for saving me from an extra mess!). :-)
Joe and his team were great — incredibly nice, respectful, helpful, and honest. We are pretty picky customers and I would absolutely recommend him to anyone. We’ll definitely have Joe and his team back soon to do more work (I see a home theater in our future!)… :-)

If your thinking of supporting local small businessmen this is a good place to start. In Northern VA customer service for the most part is non-​existent. That’s why it is so refreshing to come across a business like Cabletek that recognizes that this is the way to grow a business. Joe Graham is highly competent and his work is impeccable. He’s not satisfied until you are satisfied and he will devote all the time necessary to achieve that goal.
And did I mention that his price point is extremely competitive. As in Best Buy’s estimate was double.

We first contacted Cabletek, specifically Joe Graham, regarding a security issue with our home. We had several acts of vandalism, hostile threats and regular harassment from neighbors.
CableTek installed an 8 camera security system on the outside of our home. They installed all of the cameras, DVR and all the cabling. They did an outstanding job! They were very professional, quick and none of the cables are visible.
This solved 98% of our problem right away. If we had ANY trouble at all with the system (even user error) Joe responded quickly and resolved the issue, usually within a few hours.
We have since installed more cameras and DVRs because we were so happy with the original system. They even set up all of the network and our IPAD and phone devices!
I would recommend Joe and Cabletek to anyone with a need for electrical, cabling, security systems, or anything they do. They are Very reasonably priced and have an excellent work ethic.
Whenever I need work of this nature, my first call is to Joe and Cabletek. Use them, you won’t be sorry!
