What a nice guy!
I wanted to go to Eric’s Smog on Victory because they were great last time I needed a smog check. This year, I needed a check from a «Star» certified place and Eric’s Smog isn’t star certified for some reason. I was bummed. They recommended I go to the Vanowen Test-​only Center instead.
I never would have chosen this place on my own because you have to pull into a sketchy and very crowded driveway/​alley to get there and that’s the only reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5. The guy was SO nice and accommodating. He got my car onto the roller things for me and he helped me back out into the crowded alley. The crowded alley ended up being no problem at all. $ 50 total. I passed– which is always nice.
This place came up on Unilocal as «closed» and it’s NOT. Go there if you’re in the valley and you need a star-​certified test-​only smog check.
