My neighbor recommended this place since he re-​did his front yard so I called before going… Person who answer was not really friendly ., couldn’t answer simple questions so based on my phone call I will not be going to this place will be checking else where for my yard remodeling needs. Fantastic selection of plants at very reasonable prices. Very knowledgeable and helpful employees. Recently landscaped the front of the house with drought resistant plants and am very pleased with everything we picked and very happy how little it cost me.
Plants are top notch and will be back again to continue our shopping for more plants soon.

Great great prices. I recently went looking for drought tolerance plants and somebody recommend ramys the selection was huge the service was very friendly and knowledgeable but the really great thing was the price I basically paid a ¹⁄₃ of the price I paid last month in another nursery (I won’t mention names) so overall it’s the place to go.

Ramy’s is the best. Tom is amazingly helpful and had endless advice for us, even before we bought anything. He helped us pick the right plants for our property, soil, and the look we wanted. He gave us a great price and made sure we only bought exactly what we needed. His selection is expansive and the plants are in great condition. I’m so glad we found Ramy’s Nursery. We’ll definitely be back!

Have a decent selection of plants. Not too friendly or helpful if you don’t speak Spanish. Didn’t have the plants I was looking for though. Wouldn’t recommend.

I was looking forward all week to checking out this nursery based on the reviews. The guy who was there didn’t help much. There was pretty much no one around for to answer my questions and most plants did not have name or prices. There was hardly any parking. They did have a huge selection but they did not have what I was looking for… Italian cypress

I love this nursery!
The owner, Ramy, is super friendly and knowledgeable. He sells a great selection of plants, and I shop here for many of my garden design projects. I like his varieties of Agaves, succulents, fruit trees and many other interesting perennials that can take the heat in Los Angeles. I will be a customer here as long as they are in business.

I love coming to this nursery! I have been to many others but this is by far the best! They have every plant/​flower I am looking for and they always last me a long time in my yard! They are also very helpful when you get there! And show you anything you are looking for!

I’ve been going to Ramy’s Nursery for about 10 years now and have always been really happy with their customer service, quality and prices. They have an amazing selection of plants, every couple of years I go back here to restock and add to my landscaping and they always remember and treat me with respect regardless if I’m buying a ton of plants or just a few. I highly recommend going here for all your landscaping needs!

I LOVE this nursery. It’s a bit out of my way, but worth the drive. All the plants I’ve bought from there have really flourished. They have all lasted longer than any other plants from any other nursery (and I have been to many in the valley), and I have anything but a green thumb.
They were also super helpful and the prices are very reasonable.

What a great nursery! Where I live in Valencia, there are only a few choices for nurseries. Most are pretty small with a limited selection, or are a little on the pricey side. Ramy’s was only about 20 minutes away, and quite the discovery (Thanks, Unilocal!)
First, it’s HUGE. and they have an amazing selection. It doesn’t look like much from the street, but it goes back a long way. Just about everything you can think of, they have. Succulents, cactus, bamboo, tropicals, grasses, herbs, flowers, trees, shrubs, etc. they’ve got everything.
Second, all the plants looked very healthy. I’ve been surprised to see how poor the quality of the plants are at other nurseries, but here they all looked well cared for.
Third, great prices. Not «cheap» but definitely competitive, even with the big box stores, and they’ll even work with you a little on price.
And finally, outstanding customer service. We were greeted by Ulysses and he stayed with us patiently while we made our choices. He really knows his stuff and he’s very patient and willing to give as much information as you need without any pressure. They even loaded everything into my car for me, put down plastic to protect my trunk area and tied everything up so it wouldn’t move around.

Outstanding customer service, and an easily accessible nursery. Parking is clearly delineated. The staff there at the time (Ulysses) was very efficient in pointing out what I asked for (herbs), and was well informed about what was/​was not available. I highly recommend.

Ramys is one of my favorite nurseries. I am a landscape designer and contractor, and have been in business for almost 23 years. Their selection and prices are second to none, and constantly introducing new plants to the average home owner and professional. Besides having everything on an almost perfect grid, making it so easy to find what you want. Their customer service is quick, fair and friendly. Lauterbach Inc.

If you’re into native plants, Ulysses is your man.
Ramy’s is my new favorite wholesaler. Their prices are less than the other wholesalers around (particularly those guys on roscoe near wilbur) PLUS they have better inventory — apparently, they grow a lot of their own stuff. Neat.

Went there as a first timer with not much knowledge. Ulysses had so much patience with me and helped me tremendously with deciding what to get for our 800 Sqft backyard. We designed a partially drought resistant and partially fruit giver yard.
Ulysses is a botanist and was able to help me so much. All the advice he has given has worked perfectly. I hope that Ramy’s knows how much value Ulysses brings to his Nursery. Thank you Ulysses!

This review is based on my visit and talking to Tom. I didn’t buy anything, yet, so I don’t know about their prices.
We inherited our yard from a previous owner who obviously didn’t really take care of them very well. I was ready to take some of the plants out if they’re not growing, or at least not growing like they’re supposed to.
When i got there I told him that I’m still on the planning stage and not sure what to do, so i wasn’t ready to buy anything that visit. Tom stil answered all my questions & gave me advice on what to try before pulling anything out. I don’t remember how long I was there, but I was showing him pictures after pictures of my plants and he just kept helping me.
I’m going to try his advice, but i’m also looking forward to purchasing new plants from here.
