I had a small trimming job that needed to be done and these guys gave me the best price. They went above and beyond, helping clear away branches that were hanging over my house and garage. They also removed some dangerous tree limbs that were touching my power line. They were fast and tidy, and I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

I called Millan Tree Service yesterday. They came out to give a free estimate, and to my surprise were available to complete the tree trimming today. I got home today, and the overgrown tree that was growing on top of my brick wall and way into my neighbor’s yard was gone! The mess was cleaned up, and I now have light coming into my backyard. It looks FANTASTIC. Rafael and his sons are so personable, my husband and I were sad to see them leave. I love using local family businesses. And they did such a great job! I will definitely recommend them to our neighbors and friends!

Raphael and his team were great to work with. Had a tree planted too close to the house and bumping the roof now that it was grown, plus trimming some very tall bamboo along the edge of my property. Came for an estimate on Saturday and was able to come back and do the job on Tuesday. Quick and professional, cleaned up everything and did a great job. Raphael does a good job of communication as well.

Rafael Millan, along with his two sons — Juan and Rafael, were extremely courteous, and eager to do a job that would leave me completely satisfied. That’s exactly what happened. I called on a Wednesday, and Rafael Sr. picked right up. He was able to come to my house for a free estimate, within a half hour! The price of a previous estimate was matched and even beat; and all the extras that the previous tree service was willing to throw in, were included.
It’s Friday, two days later; and I’m happily looking out the window, admiring the beautiful job they did. The crew arrived right on time; and immediately got to work. It was impressive to see everyone wearing the bright orange Millan Tree Service shirts. All went smoothly and efficiently, and even things we hadn’t discussed, like removing Palm Tree pods that would be falling in the future, were thrown in. There was absolutely no debris left behind, including fallen leaves/​flowers from the front of my house, which weren’t even part of the job!

Please do not look anywhere else if you are thinking about trimming your trees. The owner Rafael and his sons are the nicest most honest people you will meet. These are people who take pride in their work. These are simply good people. They came out and gave me a fair bid and then did the work the next day. He sent about 8 guys who left my yard spotless. Actually I think it was cleaner than when they got there and that involved clearing hundreds of leaves out of my pool after they finished. I could not be happier with this company. I highly recommend these people.

Rafael and his team are terrific. They arrived on time, worked quickly to trim several palm trees, an overgrown and invasive bougainvillea hedge belonging to my neighbor as well as the removal of a tree in our front yard. All this work completed in less than two hours. They left no trace behind. They are polite, respectful and hard working. I would not hesitate to hire them again.

Rafael is as good as the other reviewers say. He should up on time for our estimate, beat my other two estimates that I had and was ready to go nearly the next day! We got two quotes from the companies on Unilocal with a lot of good reviews and I am happy I chose to go with Millan Tree trimming. Raphael and his son are very fair, knowledgable and courteous. We trimmed the trees in front and back of our house both big and small and we were extremely happy with their services. They are really good at what they do, trimmed the trees symmetrically, and cleaned up every thing very well. I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs their trees trimmed.

I needed some trees cut down and immediately checked Unilocal for tree services.
I called on a tuesday morning and Rafael picked up immediately and was able to come to my house in 30 minutes for a free estimate. I needed 2 bottle brush trees cut down with stump grinding/​removal and another tall bush with stump removal. I had previously had 2 other estimates and rafael had the best price around. I read his other reviews and despite a recent negative, the positive reviews were overwhelming. So I decided to give them the job.
Rafael was able to do the work he next day (today). They showed up a few minutes after the agreed upon time but called to let me know (which i take as a positive).
When Rafael and his crew showed they were ready to work. They unloaded their tools and started with the trees. They worked very fast and efficient. They ground out all of the stumps and removed all of the debris. They also ended up trimming some large branches off of my apricot tree which were around power lines.
When the job was done Rafael walked the job site with me and made sure everything was clean and to my standards. I showed them a few small things and they quickly cut them and cleaned it at no additional charge. He then recommended i cut down another fig tree that had been giving me problems and for an additional but very fair price he cut it down and ground the stump out also. Not to mention his crew had already put all of their gear away.
All in all Rafael was very professional and very efficient. I would not hesitate to hire him again if I needed anymore tree work done.

I needed my banana trees cleaned up at my house so i want on Unilocal and found
(Millan tree service) and seen they have a 5 star views and with out hesitation i gave them a call so i spoke to Rafael on monday morning and he came right away to give me a estimate Rafael was very polite and he explained everything well about all the work i needed done. So they came today and all the work as we agreed they even did a little extra work cleaning. my banana trees came out amazing!!! I have a narrow duplex with a tiny yard, but this invasive ivy had overgrown the whole chimney and was covering the master bedroom’s only window so I started looking for someone to take all that off. No one wanted to do it, either the gardeners I called didn’t want to do 2^nd floor work and the tree trimmers thought it was too small a job to bother with. Also there’s no back access to the yard, it’s surrounded by a high fence, so it seemed all the trimmings would have to be dragged back out through the house. Rafael Millan was one of the very few who would even give me an estimate on it.
He and his 3 man crew arrived on time, and were all nice, polite, friendly, and professional; they not only took care of the ivy but they also topped off the back fence privacy hedge and trimmed the huge rose bush back for the winter. They did all this in a little over an hour, starting right when it started drizzling outside, and they actually pitched all the trimmings back over the fence so there was not a speck of stuff dragged back through the house afterwards, and mulched it on the spot so the neighbors didn’t complain about the parking lot.
I would totally recommend Mr Millan and sons if all my friends didin’t live in apartments, so I’m recommending them here :-D You guys were awesome, thank you.

These guys did a fantastic job for us! The tree was in the neighbors yard, over a high fence, over a pool, with government land protected by barbed wire to the left side and had many power lines going through. It was a dangerous job done very well. Thank you! I’d recommend your services to anyone!

In summary, Rafael and his crew, which includes 2 of his sons, were very honest, approachable, hardworking, efficient and excellent with the job they have done for us! You can sense their «family”/team approach and conduct before, during and after the work. Their hearts are in their jobs and it’s undeniable by looking at the amazing end results of their job!
Definitely highly recommended them if you have any tree/​gardening needs. Plus they are helpful and willing in negotiation the prices to please the customer without compromising the quality of their work!

Rafael and Rafael Jr. were a pleasure to work with, I called early Monday morning and they were available that same day to give a quote. We walked through my large lot and assessed the various was that needed to be done: Lop off a 7 ft bush that was imposing our neighbors, clean up branches touching power lines, remove vine/​bush & stump to prepare for addition of drive way, trim low hanging branches from trees, and remove 3 – 4 large bushes. Their quote was very reasonable, work was scheduled early morning next day and to my surprise when Rafael said 7:30 AM he arrived right on the dot with a total crew of 6 men (including himself & Jr.). Work didn’t start until 8:00 AM due to children walking to school down the street and we didn’t want them to be exposed to the work/​noise/​tools.
Completion was 8:50 AM, so fast! They made sure to clean up the yard of any debris and dust from root removal, removed extra branches that fell from the trees, cleaned the street from the chipper and helped my neighbor clean their yard of any branches that accidentally fell over the fence from the work. Excellent and quick work, at a very reasonable price. I will definitely come back for more maintenance in the future.
