Amik Maytesyan, DDS

Dr. Amik is Amazing! He is the best dentist I ever had in my life (by the way my friend is a dentist). I am very difficult patient and every doctor at some point would get frustrated with me. Dr. Amik is very patient, calm when I was panicking, gentle and confident in what he is doing. He is very professional. I think it all comes from his experience and his kind, caring personality. His staff provide excellent service as well. Everybody is very friendly and professional but since I mostly spoke with Isha, I can comment more about her. She is a sweet heart who cares about patients. You can see it in her eyes and hear it in her voice. Always returns your calls and does beyond I expected. I also like that she helped me to figure out math on price on my treatment. She did it promptly from day 1 via email and later on. No surprises! I just had my implants done today and extremely happy. From the very beginning to the end. No pain, no discomfort. Beautiful smile!:) Usually people need to get used to even crowns, but my implants felt like my own teeth from the first minute. I used to drive 2hrs without traffic to see Dr. Amik and will do so again if I need because it’s worth it. One last point is that if you have an appt. At 3 pm for example, they will take you in exactly at 3pm. No waste of time at this office. It’s my very first post on Unilocal for anybody but I am just too excited and I want to help people to have a better idea about their choice because I didn’t trust dentists myself. Not anymore though :) I highly recommend Dr. Amik for everybody! Excellent service and reasonable price!

Amik has been my dentist for over 15 years! I am not one to stick around or be that loyal to any doctor or professional service, but have been faithful to my dentist for years! Amik is the most talented, professional, and trustworthy dentist. He constantly searches for new and improved methodologies and technologies. All equipment is state of the art, modern, and reliable. His work is beautiful and lasts for years and years. I cannot recommend Amik and his team more!

Dr. Amik is one of the best dentists I have been to in a while. I moved to the valley a couple of months ago and was looking for a new dentist and I have found the holy grail!!! Not only is his office GORGEOUS but he has up-​to-​date equipment. I mean you can even get a crown done the same day! Not sure why some people gave this place 1 star because it is definitely a 5 star office. Everything from the front staff, to the assistants, to the technology is just beyond me. I feel like this place belongs in Beverly Hills.
Let’s start with the staff
— The front desk staff is very organized and efficient. The girls are extremely helpful and let me know exactly what my insurance would cover/​how much my out of pocket expense is. I’ve been to other offices where they push unnecessary services onto the customer, however I did not feel like that here! They even gave me a tour of the office which no dental office has ever done before. They have this 4D printing machine that makes crowns in the office! No more long waits for labs!!!
Now let’s talk about the Dr!
— He is one of the sweetest most kind hearted people I have ever met. From the minute he stepped into the room I could tell he really loves his work. He’s been practicing for over 20 years and it shows! His over-​qualifying experience and warm bedside manner made this dentist visit so much easier.
Huuuuge thank you to Dr. Amik and his staff for making me feel welcome! I will recommend him to all of my friends and family :)

Don’t let those state of the art equipment deceive you. The doctor and his staff are unprofessional.

I called in a week ago to ask and see if my brother and I were qualified to come in and see this doctor, some lady which I believe her name was Aisha or something like that got all my information, and promised to call the very next morning. Its almost going to become 2 weeks, and have not heard from them… Thanks for the help i guess…

The most amazing, talented and gifted dentist. I have been a patient for several years. Had various issues from root canals to implants with excellent result every time. The office staff is friendly and are always there to assist. The dental hygienist, Nancy, is exceptional. I recommended this office to all of my friends and family and everyone is grateful. I had such a great experience here. First off, I had a bad dentist experience years ago and since have been terrified of them. Needless to say I had extreme anxiety going in however Dr Amik was so sweet and patient with me that I felt incredibly comfortable with him by the time my initial exam ended.
His entire team from the front desk staff to the hygienists and assistants were so friendly and customer oriented. I didn’t feel like I was in a «cold medical» setting at all.
All their equipment is state of the art technology so I literally didn’t feel a thing during my root canal. Not even the needle for the local anesthetic! Again, this coming from a complete chicken sh! t. He made my crown right there in his 3D printer as I waited. no having to wait a couple of weeks after its been sent to a lab to construct. Dr Amik even walked me through the process of creating the mold on the computer and explained everything to me as he did it. No doctor takes that much time with patients!
The prices were great too. Not the cheapest but definitely not high compared to what I was quoted from other area dentists for a root canal and crown. Very moderate. Still, I feel like the value I received well exceeded the cost.
I’m thankful to have found a dentist to go to regularly now, that I won’t be afraid to visit!

I shamefully say that I had not been to a dentist for 10 years; no cleaning, etc. I even learned to live with a broken tooth. A friend would speak about having another implant as though she was going to visit a resort. I decided to go see Dr. Maytesyan and I will never ever regret this decision. All the staff is amazingly professional, kind and sincere. Nancy did the periodontal cleaning which took 2 hours 15 minutes and there was no pain during the cleaning nor after. No sore gums …. thank you Nancy. Then there is Dr. Maytesyan who I do not find has much of a personality but the staff makes up for that. Dr. Maytesyan extracted one tooth and the remanent of another tooth. He made sure I was completely numb and then it was over. There was the usual bleeding after any extraction but no pain.
I SELDOM WRITE REVIEWS AND I BELIEVE THIS IS MY SECOND REVIEW. I highly recommend all who fear dentists to make one visit there. You will change your thoughts on dental procedures. I am now in for 2 implants and I am actually looking forward to them.

Dr. Amik is the best. I had the worst infection in my life due to another dentist butchering a root canal back in the day. Had no choice, but to pull it. I was in and out in less than 30 minutes and had ZERO pain. Thank my mom for the referral.

I recently visited Dr. Amik to fix a broken retainer. His office staff is amazing and the office is completely updated with all the latest equipment. Dr. Amik has Lots of Patience and will definitely work with you on prices, for those who have or had braces you will know retainers are extremely expensive and I have been to several places to get them fixed. This place has some of the most competitive prices! I will definitely go back if I need anything else.

Very professional, friendly and knowledgeable dentist. I have not seen such craftsmanship, agility and skill presented anywhere else. Also, a great staff of assistants. My new family dentist!!!

my expeirance at this dental office was great. The Doctor is very nice to all his patients, the staff are very kind and friendly. I have been to few dentists in the past, this was the best one and i would stick with him, I say for many generations.
