Established in 2009.

Tobey’s Junk Hauling was started when the construction slow down hit the Reno area. Jim is from a construction backround and saw a need for helping people with property clean-​up.

We had quite a few boxes in our garage from our recent move to Reno. Tobey was very responsive and reasonably priced. He quickly broke down and removed the boxes — even despite the fact that it was a very windy day, and there was a lot more packaging material in the boxes than originally anticipated.
I would definitely use Tobey’s services again!

Since my last review in December we have relocated to Reno from CA. When we had stuff that needed hauling off I knew just who to call… Tobey. He squeezed us in to his schedule that day. Since that day we’ve had him out 2 more times and as usual he does a great job, works very fast and his prices are always fair. I HIGHLY recommend him.

The best thing about Tobey’s Junk Hauling is when you call, you get TOBEY!
I called and left a message and within a few hours Tobey called me back. We discussed what I had to haul and he gave me a verbal «guesstimate». The stuff I had him haul was a HUGE 10ft x 8ft x 3ft old timely entertainment center wall unit. It was BIG and HEAVY.
In all fairness you can’t really give an accurate estimate over the phone when you are a junk hauler… you can only guess.
Tobey arranged to come over the next day and called me when he was on his way. He looked at the job and revised his estimate, we agreed on the price and we were good to go.
Tobey and his associate moved the goods and away they drove. He not only saved by back, he saved me from borrowing a truck, he saved me a trip to the dump, he saved me from having to ask a friend help me move it, he saved me time.
If you need anything hauled away by a really nice fellow, give Tobey’s Junk Hauling a call… you won’t be sorry.

After living in our house for 10 years, with one of us (not me) being a semi-​hoarder, our garage had turned into a disaster of junk and trash and empty boxes. So when the time came to clean it up before we put our house on the market I knew I was going to need to hire someone. Not to mention I also had 2 mattress sets, a room of carpet, a broken sofa AND an old door that needed to be dumped.
Called Tobey’s and was asked to text the information about my job to them. Scheduled an appointment on my day off. They arrived a little after 9am and left around 1130 and did a great job of hauling off everything! What a weight off my shoulders to not have to worry about all of that crap.
Would def recommend Tobey’s and if we were to need their services again in the Reno/​Sparks area I would totally hire them again!

I’m cleaning out a big house in Reno that’s had several years of renters and their abandoned things. Jim /​Tobey’s came to help me on two occasions. He gave me a really fair price and works really quickly. I couldn’t believe all that junk was gone in under an hour. I wasn’t even very organized about it, and he helped me haul crap out of the basement. Very good people.

I cut some trees down in the back yard. I had all the stumps, branches leaves to clean up and hauled to the dump.
I found Tobey’s Junk Hauling on the internet. Spoke with Jim the owner and hauler on the phone, explained the job and he gave me a price. I had him come over in the same afternoon for the clean up.
He showed up on time, came in under quoted price, he was neat, clean and fast.
Tobey’s is the best.
