Why this is my go-to sushi spot: it’s intimate and quaint. They do the usual rolls and appetizers. I like that it seats fewer people. It’s like a quiet secret spot in Reno. I like that you can park right in front. Get in and out for a quick sushi meal.

The sushi is pretty decent but I’m the type of person that has a go to place, so maybe don’t trust my opinion. You get your food fairly quickly, although the waitresses aren’t very attentive which can slow down drinks and checks, among other things. Try the caterpillar roll here! It’s the roll I judge all sushi joints by, and it’s one of the best I’ve had in town.

Definitely underrated. They have the best selection in town for lunch and have decent drink specials everyday. The LuLu is by far my favorite roll but you really can’t go wrong. The only dish I steer clear of is the«shrimp balls» because it tastes just like it sounds. The service is pretty good but when it gets busy the waitress/waiters tend to run a little slow. Overall one of the best places in Reno for sushi.

My favorite sushi place in Reno by far. I have been to every sushi joint in town and this place has the nicest staff and the best food that I’ve found. Also, they’re considerably fast even while busy which is nice because waiting 45 minutes for sushi after waiting to be seated isn’t something I like to do and I’ve never had that problem here, ever.

Good food and great service. The food hits your table right away and their staff is friendly and efficient. Even if you have a friend who does not care for all you can eat sushi, their entries are amazing. Will be returning again soon!

We went in the afternoon so it wasn’t too crowded yet. Good sushi! Service is very pleasant. I definitely plan on returning!

I 100% think Rickshaw’s is underrated(not only on Unilocal but in general). It’s kind of a hole in the wall sushi place but oh my gosh is their sushi good. I think the word«fresh» is a MUST to describe any good sushi, and Rickshaw’s is definitely fresh! It might be the only sushi restaurant I wouldn’t mind trying every roll on their menu at least once because I haven’t had a bad roll yet. On multiple occasions the chefs have been more than accommodating by either making a super spicy roll for my boyfriend or just directing me to a roll they think I would like. The waitresses clear the plates and fill our waters at just the right time and we always leave so full but so satisfied.

This place never disappoints! It seems to be really busy tonight but service is still fast and very attentive. Baby just asked that I recommend the deep fried upside down shrimp because«it’s a little taste of heaven!»(I think I have a future Unilocaler on my hands :0)) I am in absolute love with this place. The food is fresh the sushi chefs are very experienced. It’s easy to see why almost half of Reno is here tonight!!!

Good food, was quick on service, but really $ 2 extra for mochi? The cup of free green tea ice cream with all you can eat was a lot bigger portion. Lesson learned!

First time here today. It was pretty small and cozy. The bar was a pretty tight squeeze. The server who provided drinks was very efficient and friendly but the staff making the sushi was a little slow We weren’t in a hurry but we did have to get their attention every time we wanted another roll. The mussels were pretty decent. Nothing to write home about but they were meaty and flavorful enough. We had both versions of the upside down shrimp and that was my favorite part of the meal. They were big and the portions were very generous. We ordered a few different rolls and they were all tasty but they were really heavy on the crab on top. I do like it on maybe one roll but it seemed like almost everything we ordered was loaded with the fake crab shavings. Not sure if I will come back by choice since there are so many other sushi places in Reno/Sparks that just kill it.

In a sea of restaurants serving sushi, it’s hard to rise above the rest without doing something insanely stellar. There are a lot of restaurants that do sushi well, but only a few that stand out in my mind as truly special. After hearing many good things about Rickshaw, I was excited to receive an invitation to check them out with a friend. Walking in, I noticed the place was packed and everyone was smiling. This sushi bar has the vibe I love. It’s small, the energy is high, and to an extent it looks and feels like what Id expect to find in Japan. Servers were quick to bring us beverages and the sushi chef quick to attend to us as well. The menu here is smaller than the sushi spots I usually visit and I found a lot more repetition within it than I like to see. That aside, there were a few rolls that looked interesting, but after eating them, nothing stands out in my mind. I tried some yellowtail, seared tuna, and uzura nigiri too, and that was well presented with the proper ratio, and tasted very fresh. I think where this place lost me was the service. While I loved the vibe and some of the food, I was bummed that the chef didn’t pay any special attention to us knowing it was my first time there. I never felt comfortable asking him for a special creation, and it seemed that when he did check on is it was out of necessity. Overall, A-OK is the best way to describe this place. Id go back if someone really wanted to, but I don’t know if it will enter my usual sushi rotation.

Great little place for lunch! Love the rickshaw 2 roll! Try it. The service is always good here and the sushi is fresh. The all you can eat is a good deal if you are hungry. I find a lot of the sushi places in Reno are quite similar– very good sushi quality, but not the best that I’ve had. I will continue to frequent this place – especially for lunch.

I was a little worried about the quality of the sushi here, considering they do a pretty inexpensive all you can eat special, but it was pretty good. Definitely nothing special, you can find better sushi(although this was my first sushi trip in the Reno area since I’m not from there, so I’m not sure what to the standard is). They have some interesting options, and of course the all you can eat is great. But they do charge if you have too much waste, so be careful! Our server was very uneducated about the food. And not very helpful. We asked what something was, and she just said«I don’t know.» She didn’t offer to ask. Just told us she didn’t know, and walked away… Weird. Overall, I think the sushi here is what you would expect for the price. I wouldn’t come here for their regular priced menu.

Absolute favorite All You Can Eat sushi spot in Reno! Friendly chefs/employees(greeted by smiling faces, orders taken and filed promptly and never an empty cup or a dirty plate sitting around) and MOST importantly delicious food! We always start with a few orders of muscles and move on to sushi from there… Don’t forget to end the meal with a quail egg shooter! From time to time we try new sushi spots, but we ALWAYS end up back at Rickshaw!

I almost didn’t want to leave a review because this place is a hidden gem that I wanted to selfishly keep it all to myself! The food is delicious, the chefs are fast and fun and the service is great!
We have been there when it is busy but we have never had to wait long, which is so nice. Tonight on a busy Friday, we managed to have all five of us sit at the bar with no wait. Thanks Rickshaw!

Sushi was very good. The restaurant was clean. All you can eat lunch was decent price. Cute waitress. 1130 weekday and it wasn’t so busy that we couldn’t find a seat like some places. Overall good experience.
