So I found out about this boutique by Unilocaling shops around the casino we were staying at and also got directions from the Reno Visitors Center, so all the info was helpful on getting me there.
It started snowing on our way there, and by the time we got there I was freezing. As soon as we stepped in we were greeted and asked if we would like some water or tea. So friendly and warm from the get go.
So many great designer pieces to choose from, all organized and beautifully displayed. They were having a sale so I knew I wasn’t leaving empty handed. The staff was attentive and knowledgeable. I also had my three year old son with me, which didn’t seem to be a problem at all.
Walked out with two lovely blouses and signed up for their mailing list (if they ever go online I will definitely purchase from them) if and when we come back to Reno, will come back and shop here for sure!

What a cute, sophisticated boutique! I remember reading some previous Unilocal reviews awhile back in which people claimed that the clothing here is outdated, overpriced, and for the «older» crowd. Also, some Unilocalers said that the staff was stuffy, pretentious and rude. I really didn’t find that to be the case when I visited Labels. They offer a wide selection of high-​end, well-​constructed garments in a variety of styles that can appeal to women in any stage of life. I think that’s a pretty impressive accomplishment, and whomever does their purchasing has a great eye! Many women’s clothing stores tend to be polarized– sexy, cute, fun stuff for women in their 20’s, and then mature, boring, matronly clothes for those of us that have crossed that age threshold. On my particular visit, I was a little bummed to find that most sizes of the items I really liked were sample sizes (2 – 6). However, the team at Labels is constantly bringing in new merchandise, so I think that finding more popular sizes (e.g. 8 – 12) might be easier if you come in the day after they receive new merchandise.
Personally, a designer label means nothing to me. I am far more interested in quality craftsmanship than branding. I don’t care to advertise for brands with my clothing. But if you’re passionate about Chanel, Michael Kors, A|X, or whoever, you will be VERY happy with the gems you can find at Labels! I found the staff here to be very friendly, stylish and down-​to-​earth, and I appreciate that they offer you water/​tea/​etc. while you peruse their well-​organized racks. They have really cute accessories here too! It all just depends on your budget and what you perceive «value» to be. I feel like some things are significantly overpriced (hey, you’ve gotta make a profit to stay in business), and others, while still an investment for a used item, are much more reasonably priced. This is not a complaint (like I said, branding means nothing to me), just an observation. It’s all in the eye of the beholder and is completely subjective. I may not be a regular shopper at Labels, but I will definitely return when I’m looking for that special something!

The place is organized. I found a beautiful burberry skirt for a great price and a Lanvin suit which normally retails for $ 3,000 for a fraction of the price. Items are authentic and clean. The owner is adorable — super classy lady

The saleslady who helped me was welcoming and corteous. I got two pairs of Manolo mules – adorable. My issue is with the owner – rude and nasty. I inquired about the process of placing an item on consignment. She explained that the store keeps 50% of the sale. And quickly and defensively added «I know what I’m doing. I’ve been doing this for 20 years.». All right, lady, I was simply asking about the procedure, no need to get nasty.

I love everything I saw at Labels! Very friendly staff, I loved the linen shorts I bought there. I will definatly stop at labels everytime I visit Reno.

My wife loves to shops here, so much that when I need a gift for her the staff is so awesome they know her sizes and what she likes. They have never let me down!

I have been intending to write the owner a thank you letter since July of this year
my husband, niece, and I had googled consignment store while staying in Reno at the Silver Legacy my sister n law is a gambler we are shoppers so we found your store on the net saying it was within a couple of blocks from the Cal Neva casino so I had a bright idea for us three to walk down to the store even if it was closing at 4 or 5pm so we set out to walk it was about 100 degree outside by the time we got there we had about 15min to look around. As soon as we walked in the clerk approached offering us cold bottles of water my husband had to grab a seat almost passing out. MY niece and I
started to browse she quickly tried on some things unfortunately I didn’t find anything. So she purchased her items so was so happy her first time going to Labels ever hubby and I shop in Berkley and Walnut Creek Ca all the time, we shared that with the wonderful clerk she shared that she was the owner of this store. We headed out the locked door she offered to drive us back up town to the Casino in her own Suv hubby blown away she didn’t know us from a can of paint not to mention we are from another ethnic background. My Hat and Heart go’s out to her she went above and beyond the call of Great customer service !!!

I love Labels. I needed to find a dress to wear for a special event and the girls working were very helpful. I ordinarily would not spend over a hundred dollars on a used dress but the one they found for me fit perfectly and was exactly what I needed. I wear a size 10 and was also happy to see they had various sizes available instead of just size 0,2, or 4. I will definitely shop there again.

This is my absolute favorite place to shop!!! My closet is filled with beautiful, designer clothes that I would never have tried on in a regular store, paid full price for or owned. Labels has allowed me to up-​grade my wardrobe in such an elegant manner. I have Chanel, Escada, Armani, St. John, Dolce and Gabbana, Theory, Tory Burch etc. Blythe and the other gals at Labels are so incredibly friendly and helpful. I love to go with my daughters, my friends or my mom. We spend hours trying on clothes. Just like all thrift or consignment shops, it is good to spend some time looking and trying on different things. We never feel rushed and they don’t mind the number of clothes that we gather to try on. Labels also sells incredible handbags, hats, jewelry, shoes and jeans. The jeans are a particularly good deal as many of the jeans retail at around $ 200.00+ and at Labels those same jeans, that look new, cost about $ 25.00.
Make a day of it and you will have so much fun and be pleasantly surprised at what you can find there.

What a fun place to find treasures! I found a gorgeous Dolce & Gabbana dress last time I was there for a fraction of the original price. I’m hooked on frequently checking their new arrivals.

I went here last weekend while scoping out possible places for a Thrifty Lady’s Shopping Day in Reno. My two teenaged daughters and I were welcomed and offered assistance numerous times. Bonnie was especially helpful.
I think some of the reviews here on Unilocal have been a little harsh. Yes, some things are expensive $ 1200 Louboutins, (close to retail at Neiman Marcus), but also $ 40 Coach Boots (well below retail). This is a spot the you need an hour or two to shop, try things on, and evaluate the value of your purchases. It might be hit and miss from trip to trip, who knows? I don’t think the owner is trying to offend people with her pricing, however.
I’m definitely taking my gal pals here. It will be fun for all.

I agree with the reviewer that said many people do go over the hill for the best brand name bargains, but it’s still great having this little piece if shopping heaven right here in Reno. Both ladies that were working today were very nice and helpful, the selection had something for ALL ages, and I thought the prices were on track if you consider the regular retail price at Dillards, Bloomingdales, or Nordstrom and practically new condition everything is in (a fraction of new retail, even on clearance) Example: LAMB cage booties $ 84-​they would have been mine if they were just a little shorter!
My mind wasn’t really in shopping mode, more like browsing and curious mode, but I still left with a cute pair of Michael Kors pumps for $ 28.
If I hadn’t already done plenty of damage to my shopping budget in Gilroy last week, I would have definitely left with at least one purse.
I look forward to popping in for at least a monthly treasure hunt, and will also put this place at the top of my list when I am looking for something special…

I absolutely love this store. I know them for about 10 years. I bought things and sold. Very up to date with items, service, beautifully organized and clean. You can find things for everyone for a great price. Owner Blythe owned her business for over 20 years that means a lot. She loves what she does and it definitely shows. Thank you for such a wonderful service!!!

Labels introduced me to consignment shopping and made it absolutely fabulous.
When I graduated, I needed to look smart on a tiny little budget. Enter Labels, specifically the ladies of Labels. As a college student, I didn’t know a lot about what was good quality, what to look for and what was worth paying for. I owe my quality clothing education to Labels. I would come in after work or on a weekend, and the gals behind the counter would make suggestions, «how about this dress or this suit», «it can go with this or that.» They knew me so well.
I built up a gorgeous work wardrobe and no one ever would have thought I was shopping second hand. They would make alteration appointments for me and called me when they had new items they thought I would like. Their service was always impeccable. I went to job interviews in a suit from Labels and I regularly appeared in court in clothes from Labels. Looking good is half the battle and I looked fabulous!
I don’t get back to Reno as often as I would like but Blythe and her whole crew are just amazing and I always stop in to find something incredible.

Everything here is overpriced and for old women. I don’t care if it’s designer, it’s from the 90s… gross.
I stopped by one weekend morning on my way to the gym and the sales staff ignored me completely. Probably because I’m under 60.
The clothes are so overpriced. They do have a lot of suits here which is why I went there but again they are all from the 90s and for a 60+ crowd.
No cute vintage clothes or cute but «last season» items, just poor service.

I’ve been in Labels a few times, both in their old location and this current one. I have to agree with the previous reviewer on one point; their clothing does seem to generally skew towards an older clientele. They do appear to have a good selection of brand name jeans, but as I have a very particular body type, the designer brands just don’t fit me right. I do have an unfortunate love of pricey designer bags, and this is where I’ve had good luck with Labels. Yes, you’ll be getting a bag from previous seasons, but I got a terrific Michael Kors purse, looked brand new, for $ 50, which is a great deal. So, I continue to stop in every once in awhile just to check out the purse selection. I’d also check here if I needed a new business suit, because they usually have a good selection of those as well; however, you might get one for a similar price if you catch a good sale at Macy’s.
I’ve had mixed results on service. Sometimes, I’m immediately greeted and offered a drink, other times I’ve wandered through unacknowledged. I’m usually pretty casually dressed, so I think it’s more a reflection of who is working on a particular day than how you are dressed.

I know they would like to think it’s a «piece of Beverly Hills» in Reno, and I guess that would be correct if they mean «we are snobs».
What you’ll find here: Macy’s store brand clothes from 3 years ago at full retail price. Used high-​end designer clothes at twice the price you’d pay for them NEW on eBay.
I went in for the first time today dressed casually and the people working there welcomed and acknowledged the only two other customers and not me. Sorry I didn’t put the pearls on to shop at your second-​hand store, ladies. I had a total Pretty Woman moment: «big mistake». I came ready to buy, and was hoping to find some good deals on designer Xmas gifts. The only acknowledgment I received was a scowl from the owner. I walked right out.
I guess they cater to the old-ladies-spending-their-husband’s-money clientele, a group which probably doesn’t know how much of a rip-​off this place is b/​c they are unaware of

I will say they had some high quality, nice stuff that I might have considered buying if I didn’t know I could get it new and cheaper elsewhere. I was hugely disappointed overall. Gimme a break with this place!
