My mother in law and I stopped in on the way back from Burning Man, and we were so impressed! Cynthia, the store owner, was so attentive and knowledgable about the products in her store! She let us look around and then as we started to ask questions she was so helpful and personable! She put an outfit together for me that looked so great! We definitely recommend visiting her store for your pin up look!

Cutest clothes ever!!! The owner helped me pick out the perfect outfit for a car meet! A little pricey but totally worth it! I can’t wait to go back! Spread the word about this cute shop! Owner said that new styles are always coming in!

This store is completely hip and retro-​cool. The atmosphere is just what you’d want with awesome pin-​ups, glam shots and kitsch. The owner is very knowledgeable about the clothing and how it fits, as well as friendly and inviting. If you are looking for retro-​vintage clothing or just for something new to add to your wardrobe, I would absolutely recommend this place. Guys, head down here if you want to get your girl something cute for a birthday, holiday, or just from out of the blue, I’m pretty sure she’ll love it!

My favorite era of fashion in a local store? That’s a win/​win for me. The clothing here is reproduction style from the 1940’s to 1950’s. The customer service here is fantastic. Come in expecting to spend more on dresses than you usually will, that is the disadvantage to buying reproduction vintage clothing. It is expensive but the quality is well worth the money.
The little shop carries some of my absolute favorite brands such as Hell Bunny, Pin Up Girl, Mandie Bee, and Steady Clothing. These dresses are made to last! You just have to take good care of them to keep them looking brand new. It is well worth the effort. Trust me!
There is a decent selection of bathing suits, skirts, dresses, tops, and sweaters. It is so nice to be able to find something I like and actually try it on. This is such a huge perk over ordering these items online like I usually have to. Vintage reproduction clothing is hard to find locally, this is THE only spot in Reno where you can.
My only downside is that since this place is so small there are very few sizes in each item and I frequently have a hard time finding my size. I stop in here frequently but have only managed to find something in my size twice now. I bought those items immediately and was filled with glee. I’d like that to happen more often. I keep hoping that will change. I’ve spoken to her about this and I’ll keep my fingers crossed. I don’t mind stopping in here but it is disappointing to keep coming in and not finding my size anywhere in the store. I really WANT this place to thrive because its the only place I can find my style of clothing locally.

Right out of the 1950’s is this great little shop in Midtown. The fashion of the 50’s– dresses, slacks and swimwear. Nostalgic colors, patterns and style with a few updates. My favorite part– the old fashion service– being personally greeted when you walk in, actually being helped to find the right size.
Even if you’re not into the style you should stop in and check out the shop. There are many pieces that are just timeless and go with even today’s fashion.

I LOVE this store! They have beautiful, unique clothing that you won’t find anywhere else. Cynthia is super sweet and helpful, and will help you find something that you look fantastic in. And you won’t go to events wearing the same thing as anyone else!

Found the perfect high-​waisted bikini for my thick-​but-​not-​curvy frame. This little shop is stocked with mostly American-​made vintage-​styled (1940s/​1950s) clothing. The clothes are all well-​made, and there is a great selection to choose from. Wish Dressed Like That was a little closer to San Francisco ;-)

Hey foxy ladies with curves — you need to shop here. Retro clothes with 40s and 50s styling. Prints, solids, pencil skirts, full skirts, Bettie Page style dresses, pettiskirts, and accessories! Sizes and stock are a little limited but it’s a fairly niche market so that’s to be expected. Shop here and know for sure you’ll stand out in a crowd — in a REALLY good way. The owner, Cynthia, is terrific and friendly — I just love shopping here!

Potential.
Vintage heaven. The owner is fantastic, super friendly and helpful, and knows her brands and stock SO well.
That being said, there are some problems. Stock is pretty limited, so you can find the perfect dress, only to have it be 2 sizes away from being ideal. It’s expensive, but not unreachable for the product (lets be honest, vintage reproduction is a niche market).
I hope this store sticks around and thrives enough to be able to expand stock, particularly in the case of handbags and maybe scarves. I had fun shopping in here, just couldn’t find enough to take home.

Love the clothes, the vibe is great. I never thought I could pull off a wiggle dress but everything I have found there I love, and the quality of the dress is amazing.
Went to the fashion show on Friday night w my girl friends and had such a great time. The owner, Cynthia, is so kind and genuine. Refreshing in retail and her son is great.
If only parking wasn’t so difficult in midtown! Still totally worth the trip.

Wow, first off: I can’t believe no one has reviewed this place yet!
I was BEYOND excited when I found this little gem. I love vintage and vintage-​inspired dresses and I spend an embarrassing amount of time online browsing brands that I cant try on in person. No longer! Miss Cynthia has brought the joy of Pinup Girl Clothing (as well as other fabulous brands) right to my town. Okay… our town.
I have no problem spending $ 100-​$ 150 on a dress of this quality that will stop people in their tracks everytime I put it on… the problem is that I can’t successfully shop online– and I don’t like returning things-​which normally means a very expensive process for finding that special dress. I’m so pleased to know that I can find the right fit and stop drooling on my keyboard over dresses I will never order. I haven’t made my first purchase from Dressed like That yet, but I will be soon.
Also worth mentioning: Cynthia is adorable. Cynthia is extremely helpful. Cynthia is my hero for bringing these brands to Reno.
