Only came here because I was nearby and needed something quick to eat. I would recommend avoiding this location though because it smells like BO and your food will seemingly take forever, especially by fast food standards. I was here with a couple co-workers and they both ordered burgers while I ordered a crispy chicken club salad. Their burgers arrived at our table at the same time but my salad was nowhere to be seen. It wasn’t until they were about halfway through their meals when mine was ready. How does 2 burgers and fries get done that much faster than a salad, that should’ve been already sitting in the fridge, is my question. Not to mention that it’s hard to eat when the place smells like BO even when you’re standing by the counter trying to order Avoid this location at all costs. Go to McD’s next door even!

This place is a godsend to me. You can do no carb or pig out. What more can I honestly say.

We stopped for food and supplies in Reno on our way to Burning Man, and decided to get a final bite to eat before the second leg of our drive. I really wanted a veggie burger, but since Jack In The Box doesn’t have this on the menu, I asked for their monster taco. I’m always happy to settle for a taco, even when I’m craving something else. The man working suggested a couple other«healthy» menu choices and salads, but I ordered two of the over-sized tacos instead. Over-sized, and under-cooked. I had extra lettuce on mine, but unfortunately the cheese wasn’t even completely warm on the inside. The food wasn’t great, but I liked the friendly guy working at the counter. Interestingly, this location doesn’t carry the ghost pepper hot sauce that they have at the Walnut Creek, CA location. Just the regular taco sauce packets, which is in no way a hot sauce. Sort of boring.

this morning after excitedly having a Mcdonalds coffee, I went into jack in the box. I love it. I first visited this place in Seattle Washington, and I knew that thier tacos were halfway decent. With the offer to receive two tacos for free for doing an online survey i am wow-ed! i just filled it out, and am telling Unilocal about that also. have a great day.

I absolutely LOVE this particular Jack-In-Box! Not only it is clean, fast, and as always, cheap… but the food here is actually GOOD!!! I come here for breakfast and they really do make it after I order it and it just looks and tastes what the picture looks like. Breakfast combo with sausage biscuit with eggs and cheese, with OJ is just the yummiest! And when i go through the drive thru for lunch sometimes, they never mess up the order like other jack in the boxes commonly do. Oh yes the service is great here too! They are smiling and talkative towards the customers so it just makes the experience that much better!

I’m tired of ordering a grilled chicken sandwich & getting served the dry chicken that’s been sitting under a heat lamp. I paid my money I’d like a fresh sandwich!

The Keystone Avenue Jack in the Box has to be one of the best ones I’ve ever been in. As some other reviewers have pointed out, they seem to have it a lot more together than some of the other locations in town. Friendly employees who get the job done quick. The menu items here, such as the Big Cheeseburger, Jack’s Big Stack, Mozzarella Sticks, Big Waffle Stack, and Tacos, have always arrived quickly, never on the overly-greasy side. Open super late and early, but I’d suggest using the drive-thru at the off-peak hours. Seems like there’s always one lone panhandler in the dining room during such times, but hey, it’s Reno!

this place has been great except for their meat being cold all the time. i just get fried stuff lol. so McDonnalds screws my order up so in the same lot is this place. i go to the order speaker and they say«hi how you doing» i say«good if you dont screw my order up like McDonnalds did. then they say«we can help you at the window?» odd to me and i turn to look at the far left side of the window and say in a mummble«oh son-of-bitch«and they yell at me «we cant help you if your going to use cuz words«. i am like WTF? so i just said«if i did it wasnt at you but i will leave» and i did nice and slow didnt get mad or anything but omg i think the girl was having a bad day. not like i said F U or anything and what i said wasnt to them anyways. just really sad to me that i had a bad thing with McDonnalds then get yelled at by a girl at jack in the box for sayng nothing offensive and not to them and softly anyways. just need to stop going to fast food and this proves it. no one that works at these fast food joints cares or wants to make it good for peeps and this just proved it to me. so thank you jack. tons of casinos with great food and little cash here.

Walked over from the casino’s for some taco’s one morning. Clean, quick service and hot off the grill food. Definitely made a big difference in our dining experience trying to get the day going in the right direction.

Food poisoning. 103.7 fever, could not even take water for almost two days. Solid food took three days. Happened to a friend who visited the next week too. Listen, go ahead if you want… but don’t make any plans for the next three days that don’t include violently emptying your digestive tract in both directions while writhing in fever induced pain. You have been warned.

When you’ve been in Reno too long and you aren’t sure how much more your liver can take and you are alone and a bit afraid and don’t want to stray too far from your hotel room and wonder why in hell you are back in Reno doing God knows what with your life and you even drove out to Pyramid Lake and asked God to help you figure shit out but that didn’t help and you are hungry then this is the place to go. A Big Cheeseburger, two tacos and life looks a little but better… and by «better» I mean«the same but you aren’t hungry».

This Jack in the Box Is inconstant at best. On this trip My tacos were soggy YUCK. so much for we don’t make it till you order. Also the lady was kinda rude to my hubby… she had just handed him his card back and she started to hand him the drinks he said«give me a second» this was so he could put the card back. She starts singing the name of the drink and waving it at him to try to speed him up I understand she is busy and wants to move on to the next customer but it was obnoxious.

I’ve discovered something to buy when I want a quickie drive thru food. It’s the 99 cent breakfast jack. It isn’t greasy, it’s cheap, and it’s fairly wholesome. This JITB is typical in most regards where cleanliness is concerned. It looks fine. At this particulair JITB, many of the drive-thru employees don’t speak English, so you can not ask any questions. And this is my neighborhood branch, so, oh well. I’m not likely to drive far out of my way for a 99 cent item. They now have a frequent customer card, but I gave up on it after trying to use it twice and finding the employee, who didn’t speak English, had rung my order up wrong(not on the card) which meant I’d have to wait for the manager to come over and re-ring it. 1. That’s a Hassle 2. My item is 99 cents. 3. Forgeddahboutit!

Every time I am in Reno I go to this Jack in the Box. This should be if it isn’t «Jack in the Box» company showplace. This place runs like a top. This is what a «fast food» restaurant should be like. Attention to the customer, attention to the tiniest details, from cleaning the counter and tables to the parking lot. The glass entry doors, staying busy, no «gossiping» out loud so everyone can hear, and yet they are nearly always laughing and talking and are genuinely happy… even in the mornings. The food is good, inexpensive and served with pride. The management and employees seem to be happy to work here. What a great, refreshing place to visit. Hey Jack, you should be very proud.
