I wish I could give Laurie and her crew 50 stars! First off, Laurie is so positive, happy, and nice. I was blown away by the amazing job that Distinct did detailing my GMC Yukon! My small children had destroyed it, and it bummed me out every single day I drove it, but I was having a hard time finding the time to do it myself… I actually prefer to detail my own car because I want it done perfectly, but I reluctantly let my husband get it detailed because I just couldn’t find a chunk of time big enough to get it done right myself. I can’t believe how incredible my car looks now, it is a brand new car again!!! No exaggeration here! I’m picky! And my car was in bad shape…
They even steam cleaned my kids nasty carseats! That is above and beyond, and I will be a customer as long as I live in the Reno area!

Lori at distinct auto detailing is who helped me, I came with a gift certificate I received as a gift, booked my appointment and off they went! I have never had a full detail before so I didn’t know way to expect, when I seen my truck all finished it looked amazing, almost like a mirror!!! They cleaned the engine to brand new look, detailed the bed liner and everything else! I would highly recommend this company, I will be bringing my truck back for another detail next year!

Fantastic. Found this gem on Unilocal.Very nice people. Very clean shoppe. We have been to the playa several times, not to mention the trips to the lake and we have a dog, the truck looks brand spanking new again.. It’s a 2009 chevy, which was in desperate need of a good cleaning. Best detail job ever. Woooow. Those kids must be OCD, it looks that good. I’m more than satisfied and I will be recommending them to everyone. My car is next. I like it that the owner is there, making sure everything is perfect. Very happy. It was 225.00 and extremely worth every penny. Go see them!!!

From the first phone inquiry to the moment I drove my truck out of the shop, I was impressed. This is what excellent customer service looks like. Stellar! I brought in my ten year old truck for detailing in preparation for selling it. It looked like I had had it for ten years when I brought it in, but it now looks just shy of brand new. I could not have asked for a better job. I have had the truck detailed twice before and the service and cleaning did not come remotely close to what Distinct has done. I will return. Very highly recommended.

These people are the best when it comes to detailing. The engine looked liked it was new and the interior after years of abuse came out like the day i bought it. Laurie the owner spends a great deal of time going over the finished vehicle with you to make sure it meets with your satisfaction. She even found small imperfections and had her crew correct it, even though I was not concern of a small spot that was overlooked. I wish more businesses in Reno were like this. Her business is thriving and one of the reasons why is the professionalism and customer integrity that is maintained on a daily basis.

Customer service was horrible. Just purchased a new truck, decided to get a full detail (which I now regret). When I picked my truck up the driver mirror glass was broken and the owner said they hadn’t broke it… I just bought the truck and looked over the whole truck upon purchase (mirror was not broken. They did not own up to it and said they wouldn’t buy a new mirror (they would just give me a service for how much the mirror cost) horrible! Next one of the employees took all the change out of the center console and again must have been a ghost who did it because no one had any idea how it went missing. Very sketchy place to deal with l. Would NOT recommend to anyone.

Just had our 2^nd vehicle detailed by Distinct. Laurie dropped us off at a shopping center on both occasions so we did not have to wait in her shop. She was kind and really went out of her way to make the experience fun for my daughter. I had our 06 GMC Sierra detailed Friday May 22 as a surprise for my husband. He could not believe how great it looked. he had to open the hood to hook up a trailer break module and he said «it looks like someone took a toothbrush and scrubbed every part of that engine.». Laurie and her guys go above and beyond to make the customer happy, you just don’t see this kind of service very often these days.

Excellent customer service: after I went to the shop, Laurie took me to a café and took me back such that I can do my own work without being idle in the shop. I had never expected such a kind of service but Laurie just provided it.
Detailing work is nothing but perfect. Everything under my hood was EXTREMELY dusty and dirty, but they made it like new. Price is reasonable. I must go back if I need detailing work.

I got a new car after babying my Mini for years and Laurie and her crew are keeping it looking new. With the attention to detail they pay on my vehicles this new car will outlive me! YOU GUYS are AWESOME! Thank you for taking such good care of my babies.

Simply put, these folks are miracle workers! As any parent knows, having a toddler in the car can lead to many confusing and almost unidentifiable stains in your vehicle. Is that chocolate, or is it poop? I don’t even want to know what some of the stains are, or where they may have came from. You learn to tolerate the mess though, because you know that if you have it cleaned, more stains will follow the very next day. When our daughter became sick, however, and vomited in my wife’s Subaru Outback twice over the course of a week, we knew that something had to be done.
I called around to probably half a dozen shops to get quotes, and was very up front about the fact that the car was a vomit covered mess. Most shops were charging significantly more, and one even quoted me a «biohazard disposal fee».
I chose Distinct Auto Detailing because of their reasonable prices, and the fact that they have overwhelmingly positive reviews. I could not have been happier with the service they provided. The overpowering smell of vomit was removed completely, along with what I can only assume to be several pounds worth of Cheerio crumbs, Goldfish cracker fragments, dropped bits of miscellaneous toddler snacks. They even managed to completely remove a significant amount of black crayon (from out light grey seats) that had melted in the summer sun, and was promptly smeared all over the back seat by our Bulldog. Our car was returned at exactly the time promised, and looked as new as the day we drove it off the lot!

When you see such a high rating with this many reviews you should be thinking maybe this business is posting or having people posting predetermind glowing revuews. Well, I just got my black 05 Yukon back yesterday that needed some TLC as the paint had significant light dog scratches and lacked the deep rich luster a black car can project. Scratches pretty much gone, car looks like new, deep, rich, just gorgeous, price, fair to bargain.
Often auto detailers just go thru the motions and you just don’t feel they cared about doing a good job. You know and can tell these guys do care. They really detail you car. From the reviews I thought this was going to be the case. Now can confirm it was. Scratches gone, rich, deep, black luster off the charts, great job, fair price. You know, why think about taking a chance with another detailer. The owner has a decade or more in the industry. She must like what she does. Shows.

We had our 1998 Acura detailed with Distinct Auto Detailing and we are so happy with the results! We’ve had this car for 16 years and believe me when I say there were some definite spots and stains (messy kids) on the inside that needed a miracle. They did an amazing job inside and out and our car looks like new. And as a bonus, they will come get your car and bring it back when it’s done. Talk about convenient. I would absolutely recommend this shop for your auto detailing needs! There is a reason they receive such high marks on Unilocal.Great prices, amazing results, and fantastic customer service.

There is a reason this place gets such good reviews… my truck was very dirty (think messy kids)… when i got it back it was nearly twice as clean as any other detailer in town had been able to do at a significantly lower price with more friendly service. No brainer.

Just picked up my audi here and Laurie and her team did amazing! Her attention to detail was second to none. I own an English bulldog and he sheds like no other and she picked every hair off from the inside of the trunk! The engine looked brand new even and of course the inside was unbelievable. I love this spot and if you have a car to detail Laurie and her team are simply the best. Thanks Laurie!

Absolutely amazing! They did such an amazing job on my Denali, it looked better than when I bought it. The exterior is absolutely sparkling, it is black so that is very hard to do. Very pleased with the people I encountered, they were courteous and very professional. Loved it so much, making appointment for my husbands car tomorrow!

I just had and interior detail done on my 2012 Jeep Liberty by Laurie and her crew. I will never go to another business to get any auto detailing done. The car looked brand new when I picked it up I still cant believe the amazing job they did! Also the price was perfect! 2 years ago I had my 06 liberty detailed on Wells Ave and was charged $ 300+ (also interior only) and they did not even come close to Distinct! Don’t throw your money away anywhere else you will not be disappointed here!

I found Laurie through Unilocal reviews. A double bonus is that her business is near my house. She does as good or better a job than I ever did when I was willing to detail my own cars. She is certainly better than any other place that I’ve tried in town. I take all my cars to her.
If you don’t like a product that she uses, like super shiny Armorall, she’ll use something else. I don’t care for the super shine of regular Armorall or how slippery floor mats and pedals are after treatment so she uses a less slippery product for me.
I recommend her to all my car loving friends.

I heard nothing, but positive things about this place so I took my 2007 Acura MDX in for a complete detail. I was extremely pleased with the job they did with the rain spots, headlamp repair, engine, rims, and whole interior. I met the owner, Laurie and she was so kind and very helpful.
By far THEE BEST detail shop in Reno/​Sparks. Prices are very fair and they spend a reasonable amount of time on the vehicle making sure the job is done right. I took advantage of their vehicle pick up services and Laurie made it so easy and convenient for me.
I definitely recommend this place to EVERYONE in town. if you go any where else you’re wasting your time and money. I am VERY SATISFIED and will use this business in the future for sure!
