Dr. Chaffin replaced my lenses, which had cataracts, with IOLs (artificial lenses). This was the best thing that ever happened to my vision!
All of the details — information, guidance as to what kind of IOLs I should have, etc., were top notch

Dr. Chaffin and his staff are amazing! I had a horrible experience with another office here in town with my LASIK procedure. My vision was very blurry and wavy for several weeks after the surgery. I had constant headaches and couldn’t see at all. I heard about Dr. Chaffin from my boss and immediately scheduled to see him. He and his staff were so caring and felt so bad that this type of thing happened to my eyes. They thoroughly went over treatment with me and made me feel comfortable about having to go through it all again. Dr. Chaffin only wanted to do one eye at a time to make sure I was doing ok first before going to the next. They provide breakfast for you on the day of the surgery and give you most of the stuff you will need to get through the healing process. My surgery on both eyes turned out amazing. I’m perfect in both eyes and couldn’t be happier! Remember people these are your eyes– the one thing I learned from this experience is cheaper isn’t always better.

The staff treated me like a family member. They answered every question and then some I hadn’t even thought of. They gave me best & worst case scenario up front so there would be mystery about how I could feel after LASIK. They did not want me to have any surprises. The staff called me prior to my surgery to make sure I didn’t have any questions or issues and to remind my of the prescriptions I needed to take and how to take them.
My mom and daughter were able to watch the procedure while it happened (remote TV screen). The staff was accomodating to them and answered their questions as the procedure was happening.
The next day my vision was examined at ²⁰⁄₁₅ with no issues at all. The staff at Nevada Eye Consultants is unbelievable!!! I am glad I trusted my eyes to them.
