I have been to this place a few times and threw some events there. I personally like the fact that it is one of Reno’s Live Music Venues. The two rooms gives you options on entertainment. Great staff and reasonable prices on drinks.

This is basically the same layout as the old Club Underground. I couldn’t tell if they changed the wall painting or had anything really different on the walls, because it was really dark. It’s a large concert venue with a large dance floor and then a few tables on the outskirts and a sofa lounge area in the west corner where the only bar is. The bar is really small for a venue of this size. Knitting Factory at least the first floor is a bit bigger but has two-and-a-half more bar space. Not sure if the back is open where they used to have the Treehouse Bar. The acoustics are not the greatest. Decent concert venue though. They have live band karaōke Friday nights for a few weeks.

I went to support a friend’s band and here’s the problems we encountered: 1. You have to walk around the back to get in which was all flooded. Someone made a makeshift cardboard step, but had I been wearing higher heels, it would’ve been really hard to maneuver without falling. 2. Before we realized we had to go through the back, we opened the front door and it was all lit up but no one was in there. We thought we were in the wrong place. 3. There were 3 bands there and the ONLY audience was a small group of friends for each band. As if no one came to this place unless their friends were playing. Weird. 4. For an audience of 15 people, that were buying drinks and there to support friends, the club was charging a $ 10 cover per person. I should’ve skipped the drinks out of principal. That being said, the drinks were good and inexpensive and the bartender was nice. Won’t be back unless I have a reason though.

This club has amazing potential. I went to the Grand Opening night on New Year’s Eve. Decent crowd, good staff. Now, I don’t just write reviews of places I haven’t frequented often, but I’ve got a good feeling about this one. I heard the plan is to have a large array of international music via DJ& bands/artists. It’s the former«Underground» club, remodeled for the most part. They’re still working out some design kinks. They plan on having another lounge room in the back area, which is huge. Can’t wait to see that! They have a good-sized dance floor & large stage. Full bar & female servers who dance sometimes. Door staff are very friendly. This is definitely not my typical crash-course review. I’ll update as we see this bloom.
