Stuff your face with cheesy goodness without breaking your budget. This Mac and cheese will give you a religious experience.

Vegan mac options!!! Considering the area, this is a vegan oasis. Not the healthiest food but it tasted great.

Love this place! My sister and I stopped in on a whim shortly after they opened and hearing they had vegan options and have continued to go at least twice a month. Hari, Orion, and the rest of the staff are always so helpful and pleasant– you can tell this is a passion project of the Cameron brothers– it shows in their food, little details around the restaurant and the exemplary service you receive each time you walk in the door. My sister loves the Delmarva Dog, my mother swears by the Big Ragu and my best friend is obsessed with the original Grandpa Mac. It’s nice that they have vegan options so I can enjoy a delicious meal out with family and friends. The pasta is perfect– you know it’s good when you’ve worked in the restaurant business for years and specifically a pasta centered restaurant for the past three years and go to eat somewhere specifically for pasta. Cant recommend this place enough!

This place is the bomb! Got the traditional mac n cheese with dorito crumbs on top instead of the regular bread crumbs. Loved it. The guys working there were very polite and helpful. My wife got the pesto pasta with peas. That jawn was really good too. Check this place out!

When I saw the reviews, I had to stop in and check it out. It’s simple and small, which I absolutely love. I had«Visualize World Peas» which had fresh pesto, cheese, peas, and pine nuts. Man was that awesome. Hubby got the traditional Grandpa Mac and I had to steal a bite because it smelled sooooo good! We will definitely be back. More restaurant owners should take a tip or two from these guys… KEEPITSIMPLE! Perfect a couple things and BOOM! People will swarm!

Nice, nice place for an informal and filling meal! The folks are very welcoming and friendly. Like others, I wondered how any restaurant could make it on variations of a single theme, but Grandpa Mac more than exceeds expectations. The Grandpa Mac ‘n’ cheese is delicious enough and distances itself from your traditional emm and cee. One of our party tried the Eastern Shore and it was full of crab; I ordered the clam version and loved it. We also split the vegan tomato soup and it may be the best version of that I’ve ever had. One very cool offering is their homemade soda and there are, I think, four different flavors, to choose from. In addition to their own preparations, you can also build your own concoction of Mac ‘n’ cheese.

Before walking in, I was a skeptic. I thought, «how can a restaurant serve only Mac and Cheese?» After eating here, this isn’t just Mac and cheese, it’s art. The canvas is homemade pasta noodles. There’s a few different types, all equally delicious. The paint is the cheese sauce. It’s cheesy, tangy, creamy, and a subtle masterpiece. It is like no other cheese sauce I’ve had. Right on Baltimore Avenue, it’s definately worth the walk. Grandpa’s kills it in every way. Can’t wait to return!

Homemade macaroni and cheese hundreds of ways. I had the original Grandpa Mac and added hotdogs. It was delicious! 5 star Mac and cheese!

Delicious and creative! They give you more than enough food, I suggest getting 2 smalls and sharing so you can try more than one because there are so many good ones! I’ve tried visualize world peas, big ragu, my sweet Italian, and the Delmarva dog. All are delicious! My favorite is the big ragu so far

Eating here as I write. This is adult Mac and cheese heaven. The cheese blend for their traditional«Grandpa Mac» is so creamy and delicious. They top the Mac with even more cheese and breadcrumbs. You can add veg and protein. Their homemade pasta is sooooo good! Cooked perfectly too. The owner is really nice and explained everything to us about the menu. This place is a must in Reho! We will be back for sure… Maybe in like an hour.

I’m a Mac and cheese aficionado. And I’m also very familiar with the chef, Hari, from his work at Nage and(A)muse. We(my parents, husband and myself) all ordered different dishes and shared them. We got the original Grandpa Mac, Blue Hen, Eastern shore and the fun guy. There was literally nothing we would change about any of them. The pasta water was perfectly salted which made the pasta perfectly seasoned… They were perfectly cooked… The sauces were all amazing, the toppings were generous and well thought out. The small was actually quite large(more than enough to fill one person). The only going draw back is that there is one table and a few stools which adds to the coziness but would be great for more people to be able to sit inside and experience the magic. :-) It’s also very reasonably priced. Mine and my husband pastas with drinks was $ 15. And we live about 45 min away and I would drive there just for this again. And we were even able to purchase some fresh made pasta to go. Nom. Definitely try this place.

Husband and I got the grandpa Mac, Carry the torch, and my sweet Italian. We loved all three(though my personal faves were the Mac & cheese and the Italian pasta bc who can say no to good sausage). We grabbed it to go and enjoyed our meal in the courtyard several steps away since we had our dog with us. Portions are HUGE btw — three mediums was way too much for the two of us!

Good spot and love that they also have gluten-free menu options! I ordered the«Fun Guy» with gluten-free pasta. It has a guyere cheese sauce that they make and also bacon, mushrooms, and caramelized onions. It was really good! You can also create your own dish or add more things to what’s on the menu. Great and filling. My 6 year old had the«Grandpa Mac n Cheese» which is a traditional mac n cheese dish. He loved it. My husband had the«Eastern Shore» which had blue crab in it. It wasn’t as heavy with the cheese sauce as mine but the crab gave it a nice sweetness. We will recommend this place to our family and friends. Service is also great. The staff was really friendly.

I don’t usually take the time to write reviews, but this place is just to great to pass by. Specifically, the«I’m a Fun Guy» Mac & cheese which is to die for! Have half a mind to buy a few large trays to freeze & take home! The pasta is homemade in the shop which is a rare thing to see. I think everything’s homemade except for the Dorito crumbs which were a hit with the kids. Great service and friendly staff too. Will definitely be a future stop on all of our Rehoboth trips!

Gluten free vegan options, can be a long wait but it’s worth it. Staff is great double checked if they had gf in stock(they may run out call ahead) great sauces so many toppings and if you don’t want to thing you can choose from preset pasta dishes. Love this place!

Four kids and the parents all got a variety of dishes including the Grandpa Mac and Visualize World Peas. All the dishes were fantastic, the pasta are extremely fresh and the sauces are outstanding. Highly recommended for a low key, excellent meal.

A short walk from the beach, it’s the perfect break from the sun that will fill you up all afternoon. Had the Grandpa Mac, Ragu, Eastern Shore(crab), and the kids had hotdog and Dorito crumble. All were very good. I was worried that this would be just another noodle house but it’s far from that. They extrude the pasta right in front of you, cook it and serve it. Doesn’t get any fresher than that. The crew was super friendly, and took the time to show my kids how the pasta marine works. Highly recommend this place! Be aware that there is very limited seating… A bar and a table is it, so you might want to avoid rush times

This is the best place in Rehoboth you just haven’t discovered it yet! It’s name may be a bit misleading because Grandpa MAC has a wide variety for nearly ever flexitarian there is: if you’re a vegan, you’re covered. If you’re a meat lover? You’ve got it made. Gluten free and organic to boot, what appears to be a cozy but casual mac & cheese joint really doubles as a grand place to have quick & quality pasta, soups, and various salads. The Panera crowd should really walk into this place if they’re coming into town– you can grab a Panera lunch in most places, but there’s only one Grandpa Mac for now. Highly recommended!

New place, just opened. I had buffalo chicken and celery in mine, and it was outstanding. Other people in our party had crab meat and liked it so much they wouldn’t spare any to let me taste it. Kids had hot dogs and Doritos in theirs and declared it «the best mac & cheese they’ve ever had.» And they are mac & cheese connoisseurs . This is a small place with 12 seats. Most everyone was getting carry out. They were too busy to take orders on the phone and told people so. It took over half an hour for them to prepare our food; we walked around the neighborhood, but it still seemed like a long time. Menu has several prepared dishes, and a worksheet so you can build your own. Meals wind up being somewhere between seven and $ 14.
